The laptop provides great value for your dollar. It is difficult to find a mid tier gaming grade laptop that doesn't look like it just came out of a sci-fi movie. What you see is what you get with this laptop. There is some bloatware that I removed when i got the laptop, such as Norton security, but it took 5 minutes to get rid of it all. The metal build quality is awesome, but it attracts finger prints like crazy. Overall it is great for travel, and gaming. It looks great and gets the job done.

Purchased to replace a gaming desktop and a productivity laptop. Good screen size, excellent graphics, SSD HDD combo in a small form factor. Keyboard feel is excellent. Overall, extremely satisfied with purchase!

Pretty good gamer laptop, very nice design and slim build. Great specs and it feels like it when I am using it. SSD rocks! Opens in 15 seconds. I was wishing for a laptop like this for years, at last, I got one :)

This laptop is pretty good looking. The performance is great considering the i7 and 1060. The fans do get loud but what we can we do? Its a laptop. It did stutter here and there. The only thing that sucks is that it isnt a 120Hz monitor like the ASUS Rog they sell. I had that laptop but returned it because of a plethora of problems 2 days in. MSI is the way to go.

My son needed a high end laptop (fast processor, great graphics, lots of memory and storage space) for college - starting as an engineering student in fall 2018. MSI was the best balance of capability and value.

I just got this new laptop, and it’s pretty amazing. The 6 cores on this make it a lot faster and the graphics card runs games a lot better than my last laptop. I would definitely recommend this to a friend

This is a great laptop for gaming but it is great for other things also. I am a Mac user but had to get a windows based laptop for my CAD Design Class and I was dreading it because I do not like windows. I have had many computers and laptops that were always crashing constantly and I have had excellent problem free years of use from my macs but! I must say this is a good laptop and it has done everything that I have needed it to do without any issues so far. I have been impressed with the speed and the rendering of my designs and I have recommended this laptop to several other friends and students looking for a great laptop for the class. I have to give it a 5 star rating so far!

This laptop is great for gamers, especially for those who also need to use it as a working laptop. It is powerful enough but at the same time it has a very light weight comparing to other gaming laptops.

As a college interior design major student, I bought this laptop for 3D modeling software that is high demanding for any computer and not to mention how it cannot run smoothly on old laptops. I was searching for a new laptop and came across several, yet this was the best price/hardware combination. I am satisfied with my purchase since it does work well and smoothly for the programs. Basically, it does what it says it should do. It has 16GB ram which is enough to run several CAD, 3D modeling programs at the same time while also came with large enough storage space to store finished projects. It is powerful and it is lighter than I expected which is important if this is intended to be carried around frequently.

I just purchased this laptop a few days ago and I'm happy with it so far! Good size and nice design. I'm in love with the keyboard (It's lit.) I can download every game that I wanted and it run so smoothly.

Bought this laptop for two facets; 1) so the wife has something powerful to store and edit her photos/video 2) some gaming in my spare time. It turns out this machine is a workhorse with the 6 core I7 processor and 6GB video card. Very impressed from the start. Love the per key RGB keyboard. I know it's trivial, but it's fun. The screen is full HD. Wish I could have 4k for the price paid, but it's certainly not a deal breaker given the internals and total package at time of purchase. (April 2018). All in all, I'd give this 5 stars for a gaming and multimedia PC for casual users. Others who are realty into gaming and photo/video editing may have other opinions, but this is more than enough for any average person.

This is the fastest lap top I have ever owned. The salesman pointed it out to me after I told him my needs and I could not be happier. fast and powerful and able to handle everything I am asking of it.

One of the things I look for when it comes to buying a laptop is dependability, ram power, and storage without having to buy external drives. This computer has it all. I haven't had a problem at all using internet, designing program, games, word documents, pdfs, or anything else. It is very fast in an age where our smart phones are faster then our computers at times. It is faster then my phone. Powers up within 5 seconds, and is ready for immediate use once I log in. I have been very happy with the laptop. My only thing is, I wish it was a little more durable. I have to be careful with it. Not to the point where if it takes a bump it will break. But, proper protection is required. Thanks.

Great computer for the price, is fast and looks great, wasnt that excited about the screen but im not disappointed, it looks pretty great. The trackpad stopped working about 2 hours after buying it but just installed an update from msi.com and got it working great again, love how fast it turns on and is ready to go. I use it for CAD and works great!

I only got this laptop yesterday as a gift, so haven't done much with it yet besides set up, but that was fairly easy. There was only a little bloatware that I needed to uninstall and any rebooting needed to be done was nice and quick. I tested the sound earlier with a short video and it sounded pretty nice, much better than what I've heard on some other laptops. I've enjoyed playing with the RGB keyboard configurations and all of the colors, and am already mostly used to the setup. I really like the design of this laptop as it is sleek and light and won't seem bulky to carry to classes in the future. I'm looking forward to testing it out more with the gaming and everything else in the future.

16 Gig Ram, 802.11ac, antiglare screen, 256SSD and 1TB hd, GTX 1060 this computer starts up in 8 seconds and my other computer was rated Air Craft Carrier, THIS MSI is a Starship with Warp drive.

New college student and wanted something to get me through a challenging engineering curriculum with plenty of power and reliability. Had my heart set on fruit but after discussing and looking at specs selected an MSI. As indicated great first impression, from the quick boot up to quick execution of some more complex code. Looking forward to testing the limits. Making a great first impression with other engineering students as well. Thanks to Chris from Best Buy for going over all the options and needs and not pressing me for one vs another computer. As others have stated so far only gripe is the mouse pad with the force required but that is minor and should be fine once used to it.

Perfect balance between looks/style/size and performance. Linus Tech Tips mentioned that there could be more support around the home button but I don't really see where they got that opinion; I think its just fine. Also, most people are worried about thermal throttling and bottom side temps on laptops like this but I can honesty say that a Mac book Pro puts off more heat. I bought a cooling pad/stand when I ordered the laptop and it really helps. It was only 20 bucks and it was well worth it. Make sure to uninstall Norton and update the Nvidia drivers as well as update Windows. I bought this laptop for college (pre Mechanical) and its working flawlessly. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

I am so happy that I bought this MSI laptop. Graphics are amazing and the FPS rate is awesome for the gaming experience that want. The colors on the keyboard are a fun feature that I have used.

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He uses it for his esports club at school. He likes that it can hold the memory for all the games he plays, the speed, and the cool light up keyboard.
