Runs games well and has a really sweet setup of colors on the keyboard. Laptop has a gaming setting which works great too.

Very powerful laptop. All games running on 60 FPS on high settings. I also program on it, the I7 processor is pretty fast.

Bought this new MSI gaming laptop several days ago now, it's my first MSI product and the first gaming laptop I've ever owned. I must say, I'm so far impressed. This thing is lightning quick, runs every game I've thrown at it at near-max settings, and has so many awesome features. I'm truly blown away by the quality, there are more I/O ports than I know what to do with, and I am just overall ecstatic to see what more this thing can do. MSI has so far earned themselves a lifelong customer.

I bought this laptop as a replacement for my 3 year old Gigabyte P34G gaming laptop. It was no slouch with an 4th gen i7 & GTX 860, but this laptop is lightning fast. Not only does it play games with ease, but I tested it against an 8th gen 6core i7 desktop with a GTX 1080ti graphics card for generating 3D meshes from photos & it was only slightly slower. Great buy for anyone who needs processor & graphics power but does not want to break their shoulder carrying it around.

Got this laptop as a gift for my husband when he gets deployed. We want to stay in contact via webcam AND have the ability to play games together and this laptop fufills all our needs! I normally don't get things this expensive but compared to regular laptops and other gaming laptops, for all this computer does it is really a great price. Everything runs so smooth when we play games and the webcam is very crisp! Most importantly, he loves it too! Highly recommend this laptop.

Bought this for school, since I will be going to college and needed something to use. Overall, it is the best laptop for a student who wants to do some light gaming. It is not too thick, and weighs less than many other laptops of similar size. The screen is a perfect 15 inches, and the keyboard is very nice, featuring per key rgb. Spec wise, it features a hexacore i7 and a gtx 1060, along with 16 gbs of ram, enough for anyone. don't really have any complaints with the laptop

I bought this laptop for a desktop replacement, future growth, and all around do-it-all. Dedicated Graphics just in case you feel the need for online gaming. LED backlight keyboard for the late nights. Dual HDD for plenty of storage. Upgrade capability. What can I say but WOW. My only problem is the mouse buttons, but I use an external mouse. Tracks good when needed though.

This laptop is the whole package. You get speed, good battery life, great dashboard controls, and storage space!

We originally purchased this laptop in April, but within several weeks it wouldn't power up. Geek Squad said it was the power supply and they were going to send us a new one. I got an email saying they didn't have access to the power supply and suggested I buy one and they would reimburse me. I attempted to buy one at the store, but the laptop takes a specific one only made by MSI. Since this is a newer laptop finding a replacement power supply was nearly impossible. Finally the manager at Best Buy agreed to let us swap for a brand new laptop out of the box. This one seems to be working great. My child LOVES it, says its faster and has better graphics than any they have used in the past for the games played. So far its good. I am keeping my fingers crossed we don't have another issue.

This laptop is awesome. Runs really smooth and fast. The resolution is terrific. Small enough to transport easily.

It works great and runs my games well. I haven't had any lag issues since switching over to the MSI laptop. Love the stealth look and its very light to carry. I've only had it for a few months and primarily use it for gaming and haven't explored all the things it can do. Only complaint is that it gets really hot sometimes and then I have to put the fans on fast, which eats battery. Not sure if that is a product wide issue. But other than that, good product.

I bought this laptop to serve as my school laptop for law school and to play Warcraft on. The best thing about this laptop is the keyboard. It feels reminiscent of the Lenovo Thinkpad's keyboard. The keys feel substantial and have a decent travel distance. I find the RGB lighting to be a tad obnoxious. Most of the time that I'm using the laptop I turn the lights off. The trackpad isn't great. The biggest issue that I've noticed with it is that the left and right mouse buttons require an almost uncomfortable amount of force to click. You have to really want it. The speakers are fine. They are laptop speakers. They have almost no bass, but why would you expect bass out of a laptop? MSI and Best Buy have -- what I consider to be, anyways -- a lot of bloatware installed on this laptop. Obviously, it can be easily removed. The laptop performs about like you would expect a laptop to perform with an i7 8750H and a gtx 1060 in it. It runs Warcraft right up to the refresh rate of the screen on high settings. The fans do get loud when gaming, but this is a thin and light gaming laptop. As with the laptop speakers, this is in line with what I would expect from this sort of laptop with these components. The laptop itself feels very sturdy. There is not a lot of flex in the chassis. There is a slight amount of flex around the keyboard, but I don't find it to be that off-putting. The aluminum finish is nice. MSI did not go overboard with making this look like a "gaming laptop." Honestly, that was a big draw for me. I can't go to class with an ostentatious "gamer" laptop. Overall, I am beyond pleased with this laptop. I would not hesitate to recommend this laptop to someone looking for a laptop for school and moderate gaming.

Loving this laptop so far- using it for grad school and it super portable, sleek, and has great performance.
