I bought this laptop mainly for cost-efficiency; it essentially had all the specs I needed (8th gen i7, 1060 video card, 16 GB RAM, and an SSD) and also backed by the MSI brand. There's just two things I have against it: The fan gets a little loud and warm sometimes despite doing simple tasks like browsing the web with 2 tabs open, and the touchpad is really hard to use. Just make sure to get a mouse. In all other aspects the laptop is really nice.

I'm just starting at a university and needed a reliable laptop for school, as well as a decent laptop for gaming. This laptop has been perfect for everything I have wanted it to be and has exceeded all of my expectations. I recommend this laptop to everyone,

Just bought a couple weeks ago. Very good purchase experience. The local store had in stock. Spent more than was planning, but after comparing, i think this was the best choice. Set up was super easy. It is very fast, quiet and light. Would recommend.

Perfect laptop for me. I don't game very much, but it has the processing power to edit my 4k videos, run my music recording software, and even run some engineering software I need for work and school. Very lightweight with a clean look, perfect for traveling!

This is a very good laptop . It has a very nice keyboard, lights up. The font is aggressive. Nice components with a lots of storage. The only flaw I've seen right now is that the laptop won't charge passed 94%. But it can be fixed. Very good and worth the price.

I'm not very tech savvy, but this laptop feels and looks top notch. I previously owned the Lenovo Y-50, and I'm already enjoying the fact that the MSI laptop is way lighter to carry. Overall, this laptop performs very well and I would recommend it to others.

Great gaming computer really light and fast no issues at all and great for school great for traveling

Everything is great, the keyboard feels nice, the screen looks nice too. The games run greatly, but I must say if you plan on using the track pad it can be a real pain. The trackpad is not good, and sometimes left click and right click seem unresponsive.

I needed a powerful laptop for working on design software, and also for gaming. I love the design specially the colorful keypad which can be personalized. I definitely recommend this computer.

Great gaming laptop. Can run almost all games on ultra quality without losing frames. Also has the capacity to run any programs I need for engineering. Not super flashy so I can use it in a professional setting as well as to game. Great laptop overall.

I'd say this is a great laptop for the price. The fit, finish, and quality feel are great. The battery life is awesome compared to my last laptop. The led keyboard back-lighting is fun to play with. I use it mostly for drafting and non gaming and it handles what ever I throw at it so far with ease. I'd definitely recommend this laptop if you in the market. There are I'm sure better ones, no doubt, but there are far far worse.

I am new to the pc world and have learned alot.this thing has an outstanding customizable LED board with great presets the aluminum case looks sleek and every game i have played runs smoothly also i have had no troubles this far except a few crashes

The graphics on this laptop is undeniable! I've started up world of warcraft on it and loved how it started up without any issues, and it was almost as smooth as my desktop. With me being a fan of dragons the dragon shield logo is a huge bonus to me.

This laptop right here comes with the power of an average gaming PC packed right into a small device. It doesn't frequently overheat, and has many available options for customizations to suit any gamer. I also use it for homework, music, shopping, and just about anything else I need the internet for. The comfort of the keys is AMAZING to say the least, and the responsiveness of each key press is satisfying. I have owned a number of laptops in the past, and each had some downsides, but this one is by far the best in comfort, ease of use, and speed. The display is another positive aspect of this laptop that I think easily tops most of the competition. The color is amazing, the picture is smooth and frames are rarely ever an issue. When I had first heard of the brand “msi” I didn’t really trust it simply because i was new to gaming laptops and had never heard of it. But once recommended by a worker at my local Best Buy, I decided to take a chance and go with it. So far, I love everything about it. Not only am I a huge gamer, but I go to college for computer science. This computer has a lot of the requirements needed for a major such as mine and it runs beautifully. I wanted something that would work well for my schooling but also give me that gaming option if I was in the mood for games that I own on my laptop. Would highly recommend for somebody that does not know much about gaming laptops or anybody looking for something to have in general! Not to mention, the lighting effect on the keyboard and the way it looks in general is just an awesome bonus to an awesome computer!

This computer is a great computer if you need a good reliable high-end computer. Personally one of my favorite things is the individual RGB control over each letter on the keyboard. This is overall an amazing computer and would suggest to anyone.

My old laptop was super slow, then I found myself reviewing multiple laptops just to find this one, I surely copped and found my self in love with this laptop. It plays all gaming perfect with no lag or stutter, just make sure you have good Wi-Fi.

Looks to be a solid product, this is my second MSI laptop and the first put up with all of the abuse I could throw at it. So far it keeps cool while gaming alright, keyboard feels and looks great. Wasn't loaded up on bloatware and so far so good!

I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my old tower pc for when I moved out for college and it is doing everything I need it to. Wether its multiple hours on a paper or in a wow raid.

This laptop is really good for everyday use as well as gaming. I mostly use it for schoolwork and gaming. This laptop packs a lot of power for its size, although the CPU temps run a little too high its doesn't really affect performance. 10/10
