Great laptop.... all latest tech, lightweight, great performance, all SSD, clean looks, VR ready... the ultimate 5lb wonder for work or play...

It's not the laptop's fault for not having windows 7, i still need to get used to windows 10. The laptop itself is strong and has pretty colors on the keyboard. I personally think the price is perfectly reasonable. I would have like a gtx 1080 instead of a 1070 in it but it is still a great graphics card. This is my first gaming laptop and im grateful that it is capable of playing most games on good graphical settings.

The performance on this machine is incredible! The Notebook is also pretty to look at, lightweight, and energy efficient. Worth the cost!

The laptop is real powerful and light, I can carry with no problem to anywhere I go. The battery offer a lot of time of use without charging.

I bought this laptop mostly to write code, and to be able to play a few games from the couch. I chose this over the Aero 15X for a few reasons: #1 - centered keyboard (no keypad) #2 - Best buy offered a 512GB version for under $2k #3 - SD Card Reader and separate mic/headphone jacks #4 - Fewer reviews mentioning thermal throttling #5 - It's half a pound lighter with the power brick Pros: - The display. The first thing I noticed on startup was how brilliant the screen was. I have a high end desktop monitor (BenQ PD3200U 4k) and this laptop is as pleasant to look at as my desktop monitor. I played a few rounds of rocket league and couldn't believe how well this machine delivered, so smooth and so sharp. - It's fast. There's just no other way to say it. It's just, fast. Rocket league was the most action packed game I tried and there was no ghosting, everything was brilliantly clear, and it looked better than I'd played on any other screen. - It didn't generate as much heat as I expected. I have an older Lenovo Y510 that gets hotter than this. I could comfortably keep my hands on the keyboard while gaming. I did put a wooden cutting board under it while I was playing on the couch to keep my legs insulated. - I like the MSI true color profiles, I can change the contrast/gamma of the display based on whether I'm gaming, coding or watching a video. Cons: - Stickers on the palmrest! Nothing a little goo-gone couldn't fix, but still -- we know the specs just leave off the stickers. - It gets a little bit loud when you're gaming. Really, what do you expect for a laptop of this size though -- the fans have to push air through such small spaces. - Nahimic audio software is... okay. Sound quality is good, but there's no 10-band Equalizer and it wants to create a profile for *every* audio device you connect to the machine. Borderline too intrusive. I like the Nahimic offering better than Razer Surround, for the short time that I had Razer's product installed. I realize that this is a higher-end laptop and probably not in the price range for everyone, but as someone who spends 12+ hours in front of a computer, I'm glad I didn't try to save a few hundred dollars and get a previous generation machine.

Bought this for business travel, no crazy gamer motif and great performance. Light, great screen, good keyboard. Recommended.

As the review summary suggests this is my first impressions of the laptop as I have had it for only three days now. Great laptop not very loud and boots up very fast. The keyboard feels great but the touch pad is a bit small. Finally, the laptop can get fairly warm.

This laptop can do it all!, Plays all recent games at a high fps and the screen is flawless, everything this laptop has is top of the line.

I truthfully do not know that much about computers and intended to upgrade my macbook air to a pro for school. However, my brother advised I would better off be spending my money on this laptop since I wanted to start playing games in my down time. Battery life is pretty good compared to other gaming laptops I have used. The only bone I have to pick with this laptop is the trackpad. Overall, I am enjoying everything. It's sleek enough to take to school and I hope it gets me through the next four years of grad school.

Im going to be honest... Spending $2000 on a laptop is insane........ but oh so worth it. This laptop is sleek and beautiful. Not to mention powerful. Compared to my old Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming, This thing flies. Then theres the fact that this laptop is actually really powerful considering the specs. Packing an I7 and a GTX 1070 along with 16gb of ram when both RAM and GPU prices are outrageous is not bad for $2000. Especially considering how much MSI has been able to compact the machine. All in All, 5/5 Stars.

Love this laptop so far. The lighted keyboard is fun to use. The size and weight are wonderful for carrying around in my bookbag.

It came a day earlier than expected. It’s had a decent battery life and it’s a beast when it comes to performance.

Just got my brand new computer today, writing this to get a headset . All jokes aside it is a good product so far. Fast, thin, and quiet. Only small issues I have with it is the small hard drive space, which can be remedied by external drives. Still a little annoying. The battery also has a bug right out of the box. This was patched in a windows update though, so not a issue.

Although my in-store experience with Best Buy was less than desirable, this laptop has, so far, outperformed my expectations. I found it listed in a few locations for top laptops for gamers in 2018, so I knew it would be great. I have yet to really stretch the limits with high intensity games, but I really appreciate the features I have found. Easy setup, plenty of power, and good support options. Everything seems to be very well put together. All in all, very happy with this laptop thus far.

I bought this laptop a few days ago and had to have it shipped to my house because my local best buy was sold out. This laptop does it ALL! I've already ran fortnight on it (high quality I believe) and this laptop ran with no problem. I played left 4 dead 2 on here and same thing. No problem running that game either. The look is sleek and nice and the display is absolutely stunning. If you ask me I think it's worth every penny. I'm going to be keeping this laptop for a very long time!

I purchased this laptop about a week ago and I'm so glad I did. So far it has been able to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it. I've used it for gaming with games like Wolfenstein II with graphics set to high and framerate is steady with no issues. Also have used it for content creation with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. All of the apps open super fast thanks to the SSD and multiple core processor. I never considered MSI previously but now I think I'm hooked.

This was my first gaming laptop purchase, and thus far I have enjoyed the unique quirks. Prior to owning this I have explicitly owned MacBooks and the difference is definitely startling. My favorite feature has been the completely customizable keyboard - though it did take me a while to figure out. For PC gamers looking for a good laptop to utilize, I highly recommend this one.
