Decent laptop performance. Gets very hot as expected from a compact gaming laptop. But I had to RMA it cause the adhesive melted off somewhere in the fan causing it to make a terrible terrible noise.

This is a powerful work from home machine. It's also a great gaming laptop. I use a c hub for extra ports and the backup hard drive. The only limitation is the smaller hard drive.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son-in-law and he loves this computer. I believe he wanted it because he enjoys playing his online games on it and he keeps telling me he loves it. I think he had an issue or two with updating his driver for his headphones (or something like that...I'm not quite sure exactly what driver was being updated)

Great packaging, great interface, graphics is awesome and I am loving this laptop. It seems worth paying these extra bucks to own this piece. I would love to recommend this to my friends and colleagues.

Okay so first of be advised that this is not an NVME SSD... that is why it is cheaper. It is SATA and considerably slower. They partition the drive and have several hokey partitions which would require unecessary work to set this up simple and utilize the 512 gg (including large restore partition). Screen is very nice. Aluminum body is so thin it flexes like junk imo. Feels cheap. And I found that mine stuttered/froze for a second all too often (M/B?). Sound is okay. Had all kinds of problems with Xbox streaming app freezing up that I do not have with other systems on same network. Returned. Buy a Surface 2 or a Razer Blade 15.

So I have been looking for a gaming laptop for some time now, and I would always have the problem of performance vs look and portabilty. Most gaming laptops to be frank are ugly beast that definitely don’t go for a subdue look. We’re MSI nailed the look to be very sleek looking as well as being pretty light. I have only had it for two weeks now but I have been loving the device here are my overall Pros and Cons Pro: light and easy to move around. Great look this thing is absolutely simple and sharp Performance is a beast it can take most things you can throw at it. Gorgeous screen it does really look stunning in person! I love the keyboard feels absolutely great to type on. As well as the RGB are fully mappable and are really fun looking! Battery life on just surfing the web I feel is pretty good you will be pleased with your mileage. Thunderbolt 3! It has that and that is a big deal in the future if I want to get a external graphics card i could upgrade this to a 1080! Cons: The thermals are good but if I am playing something intensive like Final Fantasy 15 on average settings it will stay around 90 Celcius and can get pretty toasty to the touch. But if has a cool boost option and when you activate that you can get around 85 Celcious but the fan at that point is pretty loud. But honesty for a thin and light laptop it is pretty impressive how well it can manage thermals. The other thing is that even thought mine was a 256gb hard drive is partitioned into 2 drive drive c and drive d I didn’t really like that because I cant fit that many steam games, and I could not figure out how to merge the drives, but I figured something out that suits my needs. Not a big deal just thought I would mention it. Overall I absolutely love the laptop and think it is great and I would gladly recommend it to anyone I knew!

The first gaming laptop I have bought and I am certainly not disappointed. There is no lagging whatsoever even for heavier games and the graphics are top notch. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great laptop with impressive gaming laptop with plenty of power and impressive specs that live up to my expectations. Build quality could use some refining but it doesn't take away from the overall performance of this beast of a gaming machine. The display is beyond reproach and I definitely would recommend this laptop to other gamers.

I have been using this computer for over a month. I use it for trading. My charting platforms use lots of memory, I use 3 platforms and this computer is fast. I would have given it 5 stars if it had more monitor inputs...only has 2. Since I only use 2 monitors it fits the bill. The price was right, since trading computers can cost more.

This is my first gaming laptop and I am extremely happy with this purchase. Plenty of power to play many of the triple A game just great for a console gamer like myself. Good Job MSI!

Frame is very delicate, but love how it runs my my games

Searched a lot to find aachine we could use for AutoCAD and imaging work without breaking the bank. Only had this for a few weeks but seems to be built well and lives up to the expectation.

This is by far the best laptop on the market dollar for dollar comparison to ASUS or Alienware. The MSI gaming laptop exceeds my expectations and I will recommend it to all of my friends.

During the first few weeks of owning this laptop to game I noticed it would get pretty hot in terms of cpu. Like 90 Celsius. So at first I was pretty nervous about temps on ultra settings. However, after undervolting and overlcocking I noticed huge drops in temps like 20-25 degrees! And now this thing runs smooth and fast!

This is one powerful laptop. Thin and light weight. Battery life is okay, considering the power it has. The real killer is the cooling fan. Every now and then the fan makes loud and high pitch noise, then goes away later. Not sure it is worth the trouble to RMA it.

it is prefect bring this laptop to school and very thin

Been using it for a month or so now, very happy with it. Runs games like a champ, I do some light cad work as well and it handles Fusion 360 great as well. Overall very happy with it!
