This laptop, is, in my opinion, the most versatile out there. It’s awesome graphics card makes a breeze of memory and processor hungry graphics programs. Boots in 10s. Awesome!

So I picked up the 037 model that has 16gb ram and the 1070 gpu. overall it is a really good looking laptop that doesn't scream gamer which I like and is the main reason I purchased it. The screen looks great and the keyboard is pretty good to type with. However, it does lack a num pad which I have used on all my laptops and is a real adjustment for me but not a deal breaker. As many other reviewers have stated the touchpad isnt the greatest but not as bad as some are saying. This laptop does have lots of ports on the sides with 3 usbs a lighting and hdmi out but it is lacking a sd card reader which I tend to use since i upload lots of pictures off my Nikon. For gaming this laptop is great and the 144hz screen is excellent, but you will want to use headphones as the speakers on the bottom are not the loudest. The only other real complaint I have is that to upgrade ram or storage is a bit more then just taking of the bottom cover. It requires you to remove small cables to flip the motherboard over which some might want to have a shop do for you, and you will want to upgrade storage since these models don't offer high storage. All in all though this is a really good laptop that looks clean and performs great.

I have owned this laptop for over 6 months now and i have to say. This thing is a fantastic computer. i have the 144hz 1080 display and it sets the standard. There is never an issue with power or wondering if "it will work" on this gaming laptop. In world of warcraft on a 6 setting easily getting 90 FPS in raid.

first time at store it was a nice time everyone was so very nice and helpful and my son hows in the military was so happy when he received it he was smiling from ear to ear.

I'm transferring over from a Mac and it was challenging to learn but once i did, this computer is amazing blows away my macbook pro does everything and more.

Bought this for light gaming thinking it wouldn't do what I thought it could... Well I was wrong... It blew me away with it's power and ability to out perform my desktop.

It's light weight and has everything that I needed, but I've had some minor graphic errors that could be caused by faulty wiring to the display, definitely has a "flimsy" feel when opening or closing. Probably not best for anyone who is hard on their equipment or tossing it in a backpack with books.

This has been great for gaming and school work also. My son got it as a high school graduation gift and it is going to be perfect for college as well as his gaming needs.

I decided to purchase a gaming laptop that would be able to run AAA games at high frame rates that I could also bring to class that wouldn't cause someone who looked in it's general direction to go into anaphylactic shock. The MSI GS63 model is a better deal for those who don't want to go above the $1500 price point. However, the extra $500 for the GS65 model gives you an IPS level 144 Hz screen and a GTX 1070 that makes you wonder how everlasting nirvana could possibly compare. Pros: - Windows 10 - 6-core i7-8750H mobile processor that will crush even the most demanding games - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card - 16 GB of RAM, what more could you want? - Great 1920 x 1080 resolution screen that has an antireflective finish and great colors - The keyboard types very well and you can configure the color of each individual key using the dragon blade app - 8 hour battery - The matte black and gold cut is a refreshing and low-key look that doesn't make me want to vomit yesterday's lunch - Weighs 4.14 pounds (light) and measures 0.69 inches thin Cons: - $2000 is very expensive for a laptop - Fingerprints - Thermals get pretty hot - Very hard to open the internals - You can't install an HDD so if you decide to add more storage (which you probably will have to) it'll be pretty expensive I'm very happy about this product, and the $2000 investment reimburses you with happiness I'm not even sure my family can provide me with.

This laptop is extremely fast and handles all my gaming needs with ease! It also doubles as my school laptop and meets all my requirements as a Computer Science Major

After months of waiting, searching, and comparing, I FINALLY found my dream laptop. From the RGB keyboard to the gorgeous 144hz screen (The colors are so vibrant!) this laptop is just fantastic. MSI really hit it home on this one. The design is minimalistic and sleek. It definitely doesn't look like it should be able to push out as much performance as it does. No complaints that aren't extremely nitpicky such as the mildly sharp panels that you can feel on the sides. It's thin, EXTREMELY light, surprisingly fast, and contrary to all the talk about the chassis flex... it's NOT an issue at all. Unless you're Hulk Hogen slamming out an angry email you're not going to notice it (Even then I don't think it would budge much). Don't pay for a Razer just because they say the build quality is better. It's not worth the premium in my opinion. I'd also recommend investing in the 3-year protection plan (Around 355 USD) for this investment. Life happens. All-in-all... I'm absolutely OBSESSED with this machine. I wouldn't have it any other way. I could go on for ages about how great it is but if you're in the market for the best thin and light you can buy today... look no further. PSA: The laptop comes with 3 stickers on the front of the chasis, the large sticker comes off cleanly, but the other two didn't for me. Just take a q-tip with some rubbing alcohol (not too much!) and let it soak a little while working it off. It should come off fairly easily.

Bought my first MSI 6 years ago and I said it was finally time for a change. Saw this new model and didn't hesitate one second, loved it! The 144hz screen is awesome!

I have bought this laptop and have been using it for almost 4 months. Great laptop, Minor flaw in the beginning (My keyboard was not working the enter key and FN key) but I got total tech support and they repaired it! The 144HZ screen is SOO SMOOTH. You will never go back after seeing this display!

This is the first MSI laptop that I have purchased and I am super happy with it. It was packaged very nicely and it was nice to open the package. The laptop itself is super nice. Lets start from the outside in. The outside looks great. It does feel a tad cheap but but once you start to use it more and work with it it feels good. No sharp edges and the palm rest are is nice and smooth. The keyboard took a few to get used to it but it is nice to type on and the back lighting works very well. They key presses have a nice feel to them. The trackpad is a tad stiff but it works just fine. The speakers sound great. They get very loud and they are clear and have a decent amount of base for them. The screen us awesome, it gets really bright and can get very dim also and the refresh rate is something new to me and I am not complaining about it. The fans are not too loud and they are very tolerable. On the inside it had very nice spec and seems very zippy for any task. The battery life is pretty good also. It can be upgraded with another ssd drive and different ram if you choose to do so. The laptop is very lightweight for what is inside of it and I enjoy that. When you open the box inside of mine was a review and receive. So I can get a Siberia 200 headset. Also the one year warranty that comes with it. If you register it within 30 days MSI will give you a one time free accidental coverage repair. That is very nice by the way.

This laptop has to be one of the best purchases I’ve made in years. It can take just about anything you throw at it. This product will never let you down

When my previous notebook of 7+ years decided to retire, I needed to find something that: • Would be light enough for daily use • Is able to handle developing software (me being productive) • Can also play the games that are out now (not being productive) After vast amounts of product comparisons and trying out various machines, the MSI GS65 is the one that I decided on. It is able to deliver on everything that I wanted, and at a still fair price point. PROS This computer is fast, and plays games on-par with desktops of equivalent hardware, without making excessive noise or heat. The display quality is beautiful. The size places it at just about as large as I can comfortably go without needing a desk to work from. Keyboard feels great (I'm typing my review on it now), and back-light colors are completely open for customization. The battery life is as good or better than I expected, and helped along by pre-installed software to extend life on low remaining power. It is also nice to see how little bloatware was included on the computer. CONS Nothing that I would think of as a deal breaker when considering this as being a great portable gaming notebook. The entirely nit-picky dislike that I have is that the already provided software to customize the keyboard only appears to be available for Windows (no Linux ports as far as I know).

So far so good on my third month with the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin. MSI did a great job updating its compact gaming laptop this 2018. Styling and specs are nice but build quality is lackluster. Too bad USB-C isnt the an option for power supply. Overall, a great laptop for the price.
