This laptop is lightweight and very powerful. Runs games extremely well and is portable. The 144hz refresh rate is a nice bonus.

It is a lightweight and powerful machine that I can easily plug into my TV! The portability is amazing because I can take it on the go while having the accessibility to display on a larger screen. It handles most triple-A games with ease! I highly recommend this laptop to anyone that wants to game on the go or sit and play at home.

The laptop specs are amazing for the how compact it is, having a 144hz monitor in a laptop is insane. The specs allow me to play any game at max settings and there's nothing to complain about there. Being able to have a compact and sleek build makes it optimal for work school or gaming. Top of the line hardware for the price only problem I can see is maybe the heat that's given off when running highly graphic intensive games. Then again that is expected in return for having a thin build.

This laptop is great! I'm able to do all of my work as well as play any game I want at amazing speeds. The computer is light and portable so you can take it anywhere. This doesn't have the 9 Digit keypad, but I bought one separate for those few occasions where I really need to use Excel. The only thing I don't like about the computer is the location of the plug, its on the right hand side in the middle which means the cord gets in the way of my mouse sometimes. Don't hesitate to buy this computer!

I received this laptop a few days ago and so far I've really enjoyed it. The keyboard is good, the screen is great, the touchpad is nice, and it has a good battery life. The only real downside is that it does get a little hot under gaming loads.

This laptop is fantastic, plenty of power and incredibly light. I upgraded mine to have a 2TB NVMe SSD (which was a chore to get it to recognize, but after formatting it on another computer I was able to get it to work). I use mine for gaming and watching movies while I'm on travel and so far I've been impressed. I use to have a 10 lb + laptop in my backpack, the lighter with this one is very nice especially on long travel days. I've also done light CAD work and it has performed excellent.

I've had this laptop for a little over a week and it performs great! The specs and quality at this price point are outstanding. I've been surprised how fluid the game play is on every single game I've played. One of the main reasons I chose this laptop was because of how relatively light it is. This makes it great for a college student like me. However, when I first bought this laptop, it came with a horrible screen flicker, but I simply returned it and got a perfectly running one!

I am a college student who needs to have a laptop that is extremely portable to carry. This msi beast is very thin and light while maintaining powerful system for me to play any games and build connections with my fellow colleagues. It is capable of anything whether you need it for meeting, watching shows, and even gaming. I can play CSGO, PUBG, and Rainbow Six at Ultra Settings with high frame rates without encountering any problem. I would definitely recommend anyone to buy it.

This laptop works great not just for gaming but other applications like Photoshop and Unity. I was looking for something with power and looks and this laptop has it. It's nice and slim which is great for school and traveling. Its RGB colors are beautiful and customizable making the style personal. All in all great gaming laptop and power intensive apps. Its high reviews do not lie.

The MSI GS-65 is my first Windows Laptop in over 7 years. I switched over to a MacBook Pro because Apple's build quality was so much nicer than any other manufacturers out there at the time but things have changed. The GS65 brings amazing performance at a very reasonable price. It's thin and feels well built to boot. I bought t with the hopes of playin Final fantasy XV and the laptop runs it very well with the GTX 1070. And I'm surprised, but I quite like Windows 10.

I've been hunting for a new laptop to replace my macbook pro for the longest time. I'm an avid gamer but use my laptop for many other things such as work. It's also been difficult to find a good balance of portability, use, and a sleek look when shopping for a laptop, which has always led me to sacrifice gaming and performance for a macbook. MSI has changed all that with the new MSI GS65. This ultra portable, sleek, fast, monster is amazing and worth every penny!!!

I was in the market for a laptop that would be useful for both college and for my graphics intensive gaming needs, It is light enough to carry on the fly and thin enough to slip in with your books and other supplies for college. This laptop definitely meets all my needs and more. in my opinion, it is a lot better even than the Alienware laptop it replaced. The SteelSeries keyboard and the preinstalled steel engine software are awesome included features as well.

I will try to keep this short but then i will not be able to tell you everything this laptop has to offer. To start we rockin a overall of about 5 hours of battery life on light usage and with gaming about a hour and a half. Next the model i got is the gtx 1070 max q which handels all games at epic settings but for optimal perforamce i would use high settings. And finally the keyboard is amazing with good depth and layout this computer is a monster.

This laptop changed my whole view on gaming laptops. I never owned a gaming laptop before and only had a gaming desktop. Switching over to a laptop from a desktop was very nerve wrecking because everyone says that desktops outperform laptops any day. Now this msi gs65.. proved me wrong. It's extremely fast and can handle almost any game at high fps. Thermals are great and build quality is perfect. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and can't be any happier!

Pros: - Thin form factor with small bezels - Strong performance (given the size) - for example, I'm able to play Witcher 3 at 60fps in Ultra - Good keyboard though it does get warm during gaming - Lots of ports Cons: - Trackpad is okay, not great - Would've liked to see Windows hello - Why is the hard drive split into two partitions? Easy fix, but annoying Notes: - I highly suggest undervolting the CPU with Intel XTU to cool it down a bit

Purchased this laptop after many weeks of research (Razer, Acer ex..). I am extremely satisfied with the build quality and performance for the price. This laptop performs/out-performs it's competition for an excellent price. My favorite feature is the subdued look. Although this is a top tier gaming laptop, its 14" scale and black with gold accents keep it professional looking. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a gaming/work laptop.

The GS65 checked all the boxes I was looking for in a gaming laptop. I generally play games on my desktop however I wanted something portable as taking a desktop and all the peripherals to LAN parties was beginning to get old. At first I was hesitant because I was used to desktop performance but I was pleasantly surprised when I boot the laptop up and starting running benchmarks to see very much desktop like performance out of it. Overall very pleased.

this laptop not only has the power you need but it also adds in the slim form factor to take with you. if your a gamer, video editor, student or all three this will get done what u want it to get done! 6 core cpu and a gtx 1070 you cant go wrong. the only few things ive noticed that could be better are as followed: screen is a little wobbly (due to how thin this machine is), the area above the keyboard is a little more flexable than i would like, and to much added bloatware that you gotta delete when u get the laptop. other than that this thing is amazing. i was looking at the new razer blade 15 or this before i purchased this. i have owned both msi gaming laptop and razer laptops (and many other razer products) before. i may have had bad luck but i had trouble with each razer product i owned. so i had to call into customer service. razer customer service is no joke the worst i have ever dealt with and that was the deciding factor on buying MSI. their customer service is outstanding. they were not only polite but actually spoke English and impretty sure were an american so no accent. i was just to afraid of having a issue with the razer and not being able to get it fixed. if u have the budget for this or for any msi gaming laptop u wont be disapointed!

The system is a lot quieter than expected. The 4-pound weight of it is nothing. 144hz is where it is at. I was worried about the bottom chin but it is not a problem. The mostly aluminum body is great but I'm furious that the hinges holding up the screen are plastic. The power button should also be a fingerprint scanner. It also has no iris scanner like my friends $400 laptop. Those are my only gripes. It's thin, light, and a gaming powerhouse.
