Very nervous going from a desktop gaming rig to a gaming laptop but I must say this laptop is no joke and can handle pretty much whatever you throw at it. I will mention that this thing does get pretty hot while under a load gaming or heavy multi tasking which is why I purchased a cooling pad to help some. This laptop is worth every penny and more.

I was looking for a gaming laptop for quite some time. It needed to have great performance and a slim and light form factor. The MSI GS65 STEALTH THIN got both! It is very slim and light and it got awesome performance. It is well built and feels really good. Even some users say the fans are too loud, I feel even under full load they're ok. Two thumbs up!

This laptop is the best of both worlds. It is light weight and very powerful. The internals can comfortably run any game and the 144hz screen is great. I use this laptop for college and to play games and it is great at both.

This laptop is a perfect laptop for a engineering student. powerfull yet light and battery last more than long enough to do some work inbetween classes even if it is a heavy work load. whit the additional student discount best buy provided this laptop was a no brainer for me.

I was looking for a thin and light powerful laptop for uni that doesn't scream "GAMING" in the design and I was thinking between the RBP15 or this. I finally decided on buying the GS65 thinking that this was the most economical choice to go with and so far I've had no regrets! The 144hz screen powered by the GTX1070 is buttery smooth and comparing it to my 60hz desktop screen, I don't think I'd ever use my desktop again because it just feels so laggy even just by moving the mouse around. There's little thermal throttling here and there but can be fixed by undervolting. There have been reviews that the build quality on this laptop is subpar for a $2000 machine sure, it's not as good as the RBP's build quality but it's good enough that it won't bend and break when lugged into a backpack with books. I had no problems with this machine and would definitely recommend it to the buyers out there who've also had a dilemma like mine,

I picked this laptop up after reading a few reviews and watching a few youtube videos and I can say that the reviews were not far off the mark. I wanted a laptop that I could game on occasionally and not be embarrassed to use in the office and at meetings and the MS65 fits the bill well enough (though I wish it was a bit more conservative with the font used on the keyboard similar to what Razer does), through my one big complaint is that you need to make sure that you always have your charger with you all the time. you'll get about an hour of playable gaming on the go or around 3 to 5 hours of productivity in my experience but my work tends to be a bit more demanding on the go then just web surfing. It also varies a lot depending on screen and keyboard brightness and also if you are streaming video in the background or not. Plugged into power this laptop is literally unbeatable hands down the best of the market.

After Spending a few days with the GS65 I can say its an overall amazing laptop. It could handle heavy work loads with ease. So if your planning to game on it or use it for video editing I would recommend this product. I personally bought it so i could game on the go because I'm always moving from place to place and cant carry my desktop with me all the time. The picture quality is crisp and and the screen is almost bezel-less. The keys are nice and responsive. MSI took out the number pad on the right side which I feel centers the keys better but thats my opinion. I feel they improved the track pad from previous MSI models (But I would still get a mouse). People also like to roast this laptop for the gap between the keys and the screen but for me its not even noticeable. One thing I do have to mention is if your gaming on a second display and if you have the laptop closed it will start to get hot since there are some vent holes on the top of the keys. I recommend leaving the top open while gaming and going to settings to enable the screen only to show on the second display. This laptop also comes with a 6 month antivirus for free if you were wondering about it. I do admit its kinda pricey but its well worth it.

As a student and gamer, I very much would recommend this device to anyone who is in need of something powerful and portable. I can take it anywhere I need to go with little trouble, and it has performed consistently well since I got it. It is able to play all of my favorite titles, and run all of the applications I need as a student seamlessly.

there were several factors to me choosing a new laptop: weight, battery life, power, VR compatible, graphics power and future upgrade-ability, I am professional photographer and AVID gamer and this machine meets all my needs. I can edit photos in photoshop and just as easily switch over to play PubG, Fortnite and Overwatch. Highly recommended

I recently returned an Alienware laptop which while having all the right specs was simply too heavy. Enter this amazing beast. Amazingly light for such a powerful machine, was able to perform and in some cases out perform the alienware. I would definitely recommend for anyone playing any of the top tier games out now up to and including vr.

The laptop has a solid feel. When typing, the cursor seems to jump around a bit. IDK if it is the keyboard, but I find words not being spelled correctly as if it skips around. As I typing this, I keep looking back and finding words and spacing sketchy. Does anyone else find this to be an issue? The trackpad leaves a bit to be desired. I will be using a mouse, so it should not be that of a deal. As I'm typing this the keyboard is skipping around. My wife said that it is because I am not used to flat keyboards. Maybe so, but it is a lightning fast computer.

Awesome laptop for gamer. I don't play any system demanding games, but play wow, witcher 3, diablo 3, DOS 2 etc without a hiccup. Also this system is flawless in video editing (I use adobe premier). Only downside is laptop heating up, but if you max out fan before starting games, not much of an issue. Very happy with the purchase.

So this is my very first gaming laptop and it has been very good to me so far! Love the graphics that geforce 1070 provides. Although it does get a bit hot after a lot of cpu usage and gpu usage, you can set it on cooler boost to cool it down and it does a good job. super thin at only around 4 pounds. easy to carry and not too heavy.

The MSI GS65 Stealth is a powerful machine that can run an array of applications and games simultaneously with no performance issues. From a design perspective, the laptop is sleek, lightweight, and thin. This thinness comes at cost though as it can become quite loud even on the automatic fan setting. The laptop doesn't get too hot, but the loudness can be an issue in quiet environments (class, work, etc.). Overall I would highly recommend the laptop to anyone interested in a portable gaming machine or a powerful productivity laptop.

The MSI GS65 is one of the best portable gaming laptops on the market. It can easliy take the hottest games around today with a high framerate and if you are conservative on battery will have a battery lifespan of about 5 hours. Fansound is low and the cooling is excellent. I would recommend this laptop for the working gamer.

So I literally just purchased this today, and everything about this laptop is 10/10. Everything from the RGB, to the outstanding battery life, and obviously the amazing looks of this laptop. The Gold accents with the clean black look. I will definitely recommend this laptop to a friend. Another great laptop by MSI, once again.

I was shocked that a laptop could have such beefy specs and yet still have such a sleek form factor. I've always been turned off by the immature aesthetics of most gaming laptops. MSI has really outdone themselves by creating an attractive, slim laptop that really packs a punch. The 144hz display is a huge bonus, too.

It's been about two weeks now since I have been using this laptop. Just wow..... Previously I had a Lenovo Y510p so this was a big a upgrade. There's so many things good things I could say about this laptop. The screen is absolutely amazing with the 144 Hz refresh rate. All actions done are so responsive because of this. Another huge plus is that this computer is able to easily run my engineering simulation programs such as Matlab and Aspen Plus. I'm excited for the future with this laptop because although small and compact, it is durable enough to last a long time. Pros: - 144 Hz display - Compact, professional design with the gold undertones - Individual back-light customization - GTX 1070 runs well in tandem with the Intel I7-8750H - Has a mini display port and thunderbolt port - Runs GPU/CPU intensive games/simulations with ease Cons - Trackpad (not terrible, but it doesn't bother me because I often use a mouse) - Keystrokes (not bad, but I wish there was a bit more give on the laptops keyboard) - Fingerprint magnet (also not the worst, but is still noticeable)

Very good laptop that lives to its reviews. Beast of a computer and is very light. Sleek design that doesn't feel out of place in a professional environment even though it's a gaming laptop. It does get very hot and is very hard to get into but that's just nit picking. Just an amazing laptop and is worth its price.
