After doing some research on laptops, between msi and the asus rog. I decided to purchase the MSI laptop because of the pricing and the features that the MSI had, plus I love the way the GS65 looks and the thinness of the laptop. I've only had the laptop for a few days and have found that it fits my needs for school and performance with gaming. If you are looking for a sleek and powerful laptop this will fit the bill and the battery life is also something that put this laptop on top of the list.

Great portability for office work and travel. Good Laptop for entry level gaming. Fans are a bit loud at higher settings.

I have had this laptop for a few months and so far I can run every game on the market. A few of the more graphic intensive games causes the laptop to overheat like Batman Arkham Knight and Rainbow 6 Siege, but that's to be expected with a laptop this thin. The only other problem I have with this is that I had to unpartition my hard drives because this laptop comes with two drives which can be annoying. Overall, I really like this laptop, and would suggest it to any gamer on the go.

The best lightweight gaming laptop at its price. Runs games perfectly with no lag what so ever. Would highly recommend!

I'm Loving this computer so far, it's perfect to take everywhere. It has the best of a gaming computer, but thinner.

As a gamer I idealize a laptop thats has a good mixture of great performance and great graphics, with the GS65 Thin MSI really came through with both of those. You cant expect to buy a laptop thats perfect and that has absolutlely everything but in my opinion, for what it is and how well it performs this would be my go to gaming notebook, I would highly recommend and would buy again.

This laptop marries the performance of a gaming laptop and the sleak innovative design that will blend in in a professional environment. I spent many hours researching slim inconspicuous laptops that were VR ready and this one came out on top due to price, performance, and ultimatley battery life. I will be using this laptop daily for work ie documentation and occaisionally research with VR. I would recomned this laptop to anyone looking for a "sleeper" at the office.

I did quite a bit of research before buying this laptop and have no regrets. It is fast, runs games really well, manages my photo editing work really well, and is easy to carry around. The Nvidia card supports gsync when connected to a gsync compatible monitor as well. A number of reviews out there are a little critical on the build quality; I think the quality is fine and the laptop looks great. I would recommend this laptop if you need CPU, GPU, and great mobility.

I came from a Macbook Pro 2012. Maybe I don't remember how to use Windows anymore, but some things feel finicky to me. The touchpad obviously isn't as good at the MB. The keyboard is nice, although I don't care for all the lights (I know some people like RGB). So far, the games I have played run very smooth. I did have one hiccup, my wireless adapter disappeared for a while. I had to connect via ethernet to make it re-appear (maybe a fluke I hope). The build quality is alright. Again, coming from a MB, I am used to solid build. However, I do like the way the keys feel compared to the MP, there is more feedback. I know the BB exclusive has a slower SSD, but that was OK for me, as I don't think I will notice the difference for the price. Overall, I am happy with my purchase

Compared to the other ultra-thin gaming laptops currently in the market, this seems to be the best for the price. Also, this best buy model is much cheaper because of the SATA SSD (6 Gbps) instead of an NVMe SSD (24 Gbps). If you are just a casual gamer, then a SATA SSD should be good enough and if you really needed a faster SSD, you can just put it in the second SSD slot.

This laptop is a gaming powerhouse! I used to game on a 5 year old laptop and finally decided to upgrade and after researching for a few weeks decided on the MSI GS65 and it did not disappoint. The fans are relatively quiet while gaming and you can actually tell that the ventilation is working when you feel around the computer’s casing. The screen is beautiful. The high refresh rate along with the powerful graphics card make all my old games seem like new!

Amazing Performance for Gaming Laptop! Very impressed with the build quality and how lightweight this laptop is.

I got this laptop a few weeks ago and am so far blow away with the performance msi has been able to pack into this small chassis. The 6 core I7 is a powerhouse, and makes multitasking programs and gaming a breeze. Compared to my last laptop which started to lag with my high demanding programs. This computer handles them effortlessly, while also being thinner and having better battery life. I currently am in school for programming so this was a big plus for me. With school aside, I personally love the design of this computer. The black and gold theme is timeless, plus the individual rgb back lit keyboard is amazing. The 144hz screen is the cherry on top of this great laptop and makes everything you use this laptop for more enjoyable. When it came time to purchase I was torn between the gs65 and the razor blade 15 inch. Which the only difference was the build quality. The Razor has a full aluminum chassis which makes it more solid and a touch higher quality. I felt the small difference in quality didn't justify the higher price for the same hardware, Which would lead to the same performance. With the new RTX graphics cards laptops coming out you are now able to get this laptop for a great price while still having great performance. The only thing I don't like about this laptop is how the motherboard is upside down making upgrading the memory to fully use the 2 nvme ssd slots a bit of a challenge. With buying mine at best buy, I'll just have geek squad install the new ssd and ram when the time comes. All in all, I feel that this is a great all around laptop that can handle whatever you throw at it. While being able to last all day while doing so.

To begin with, it's necessary to mention the powerful hardware that comes in this laptop. It's actually more than necessary to play everything that you might want. One feature that is also very important and good is the display, it's perfectly for gaming, movies and whatever you will see in your pc. There are two things that I did not like, It comes with low storage and the trackpad is so-so, it works but definitely not what is expected from a $2000 laptop.

So to start I have had my MSI GS65 Stealth -037 for the past couple days and so far I am impressed! I have been using a macbook pro for over 8 years and it was finally time to get a new computer but I wanted to explore the world of programming and game design while also playing games online like overwatch and fortnite. I can't wait to play fallout 76! Anyways, The screen is beautiful and it's definitely is ready to go for fast frame rates with the 144hz screen. One thing that was very important to me was the keyboard. Coming from macbook, I have definitely been spoiled for a long time. However! I am glad to say this keyboard is by far the closest you are going to find in a laptop that can play games, look professional enough to take to the workplace all while only weighing just over 4 pounds! If comfortable typing, easy on the eyes, and gaming is important to you? Then this is by far the best option out there unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars more. The biggest drawback in my opinion is the fact that the laptop attracts fingerprints like crazy! While you're playing it doesnt matter, but at least you do get a cloth that you can use to wipe it down to make it look all pretty. Another drawback is the fans are a bit loud and the bottom of the laptop gets decently hot so for me they dont matter because headphones will take care of that and I would play on my desk. One thing to keep in mind is that when you are not gaming and just doing normal internet browsing or word processing etc, the laptop stays nice and cool and quiet. While on youtube it was still very quiet as well. Overall, you can't go wrong with this laptop. It has a geforce gtx1070 and anything higher in other laptops will cost minimum extra $700 more.

This laptop is a beast, easily keep up with desktops, though it does get very hot as per the usual with MSI.

I was looking for the right balance of capabilities and performance for the price. This MSI laptop hit the mark. Compared against a comparable Alienware ("luggable") this Stealth laptop had feature for feature parity with the exception of only 512GB SSD. My only recommendation would be to upgrade to include a +1TB secondary instead of a second 256GB secondary SSD.

I did quite a bit a research before choosing to purchase the MSI Stealth. I was leaning towards getting the Razer Blade 15" model. A friend of mine picked one up, and I found myself drooling over it. However, after going through tons of reviews on both products, I settled on the MSI Stealth. This thing not only runs like a dream, but it was cheaper than the Razer Blade, and has better specs (1070 vs. 1060 video card). I'm a happy camper so far.

Sleek, lightweight laptop with amazing graphics that have yet to be hindered. Lightening fast laptop!

This was my first laptop purchase in about 5 years, and I am glad I made this choice. The keyboard backlighting is very nice, and the key travel itself is a perfect amount so it gives slightly more than the new Macbooks. The gaming performance via the CPU & GPU, along with the ventilation for both, are very well constructed so that the machine can still operate at ideal performance under heavy loads. The 144Hz screen is also very crisp and clear.
