I am rally satisfied with my MSI GS65 Thin 037. The performance is great, nice monitor, and nice keyboard.

This is my first gaming laptop. I've had it for about 3 months now and love it. It runs my games flawlessly while I watch streams on my second monitor. It ventilates heat away form the keyboard well and has an amazing screen display. Not huge on the SSD being partitioned and the placement of the charging port and HDMI get in the way of my mouse sometimes. Other than those inconveniences this is a beast of a gaming laptop with a lot of power.

I've decided on the MSI G65 Stealth Thin from a compare and contrast I performed of other manufactures for its passable business looks and gaming acumen. I can't get away with toting around a monolithic gaming PC. So thin, GTX 1070, and value? MSI G65. Once I decided on the G65 with the GTX1070 chip I researched for the best value for this combo and Best Buy won me out. Best Buy has a unique SKU that upgrades the OEM M.2 2280 256 GB storage with a 512 GB M.2 2280. The specific drive installed on my notebook is a Toshiba KSG60ZMV512G. Amazon has a comparable THIN-0054 for $2199.99 with no tax and free shipping. The Best Buy THIN-0037 retails for $1999.99 plus tax. Also note the only drawback I could discern between the models was the wireless NIC. The Best Buy model comes with an Intel AC 9560 wireless NIC vs. the Killer AC wireless. At the end of the day the Best Buy model was still cheaper than the Amazon deal by $15-ish dollars and I received an additional 256 GB of storage. That was a win.

This laptop is great! Absolutely astounding display, amazing power in the graphics card, and a sleek frame with a luminescent RGB keyboard. It looks, feels, and plays amazing. And as a prominent player of music, the speakers are more than enough. My only two gripes with the product are that the frame is fingerprint prone, and that it gets hot after extended usage. But the compensation is more than enough in the other areas where it shines.

I built my very own gaming desktop years ago and that's all I used. I moved and have a job very on the go now so a gaming machine that I can take with me is of the upmost importance. So far this thing is amazing. Sleek, powerful, vibrant, you name it. My biggest con would be the space that is given to you. Find a big external harddrive and get that fixed asap. If you want to make an investment for a beautiful laptop, choose this one!

Not only does this laptop exude excellence, but it performs as such as well. Whether I'm playing WoW on full settings, Fortnite, Realm Royale, PubG, etc. It runs flawlessly with the 144Hz screen and the GeForce Graphics card. It's truly a spectacular laptop, and it looks it too. The thing is sleek as heck. Very solid make, an abundance of ports, and the RBG per-key customizability is just too dang cool. I HIGHLY recommend this laptop.

Best gaming laptop on the market, great graphics, super smooth gaming, lightweight and super fast

So far I have been running all games at their highest settings and can maintain at least 60 fps (Fortnite, Skyrim, PUBG). Everything runs smoothly after lots of heavy use. Would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a more powerful machine. The only issue I can think of is that the fans can be a bit loud, but they keep the laptop running cool all day long and I usually have headphones in so it really isn't a problem at all.

The hardware is good, and this model does have dual channel memory. The CPU is solid and great for rendering video, if you do any of that. The SSD is partitioned into two drives, for like, no reason, so be aware of that. This can be easily fixed if you like. I did it and have had no problems. I did have major lag in Heroes of the Storm and this was quite disappointing and I thought about returning it. This lappy should not lag on HOTS on Ultra, but it was a sinking feeling like Oh the Humanity on the Hindenburg when it did quite severely. This was easily fixed though with a video driver update. Now it runs HOTS and The Division on Ultra with no issues. Very little bloatware on this thing so that's good as well.

I was a bit hesitate buying this machine from best buy at first because the demo machine has lots of flex around main chassis and screen. Fortunately it not the case on the actual unit I bought. Build quality is definately better than demo units with way less flex. Performance is strong and the 144hz screen does help a lot on gaming.

Awesome laptop lightweight good battery and amazing screen. Just make sure you go online and read some tutorials if you want to play games to lower your heat settings as the new 8th gen cpus get very hot

Had this laptop for a couple weeks now and I have not yet been disappointed. The graphics are superb, and even with the slim design, it does not overheat while playing high performance games. It does get a little hot if you are using it on your lap but the performance does not sway. If you want to buy a powerhouse gaming laptop that performs great, does not overheat, and is very easily stored.. then this is for you.

My desktop cratered and I don't get to play games as much as I used to, so I thought I'd make the switch to a laptop. So far, I'm very happy with the decision. This laptop has everything I need to be productive and catch up on my gaming. The one drawback I didn't realize or think about is it's impossible to play games using a docking station. At some point maybe I'll get an eGPU, but that'll have to wait.

though originally I was looking for a laptop designed more for just solidworks, such as the WS models of MSI, I decided to pick the GS65 because i was able to get 15% off and saved a few hundred dollars. The laptop handles the program well, looks beautiful, and when I'm not busy with work handles gaming well. The battery life is fine when under normal everyday tasks, but definitely decreases under loads.
