The sleek design and light weight makes this a premier laptop for those who want to game on the go. The lighting of the keyboard is an added feature that sets it apart from other companies and while I didn’t really care about that before I got it I really enjoy it now. I mainly play league of legends and it runs at 24 ping with a 120-130 fps

I am amazed at the graphics, thin bezel and lightweight of the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop. I really like the Dragon center and ease of changing controls. I do wish it had a num pad like the other 15.6 model I was looking at but the thin bezel and great picture distracted me from its absence. Overall I think its a great gaming laptop.

I have being observing this laptop on Best Buy website and when I saw it in person I got amazed. The laptop is everything that it promises. I did some tests after taking it home and the performance is awesome. I feel like I will use for at least the next 5years smoothly.

I recently sold my Surface Book 2 laptop, due to several factors that I deemed unacceptable for a $2,500 laptop. 1. The hinge wasn't strong enough to keep the screen from moving backwards to the utmost backwards position. 2. When using the laptop in performance mode or gaming, the power supply was not powerful enough to charge the laptop and would eventually cause the laptop to limit the video card's performance to stay powered on. 3. The write speeds of the built in SSD M.2 drive were limited due heat issues. Write speeds were just north of 300MBps. There were a few more issues as well. Now about the MSI GS65 Stealth Thin laptop. OMG! It does everything exceptional well. I thought that the 1080p resolution would be an issue since I can't increase to 4k, but for gaming and working on a 15" laptop, in my opinion 4k is a nice to have but definitely not necessary. The 144Mhz rate is just soo smooth!. The keyboard and trackpad are flawless! And the power supply is now smaller! Yes! i7 8th Gen - check, 16GB DDR4 - check, - nVidia GTX 1070 - check, 15" 144Mhz screen - check, 512GB capable of 500MBps read and write - check. Sweet looking, lightwight - Check check. BEST LAPTOP, HANDS DOWN!

MSI GS65 Stealth Thin is a great product. We don"t have any regret buying this gaming laptop. We both this laptop from Best Buy Madison Wisconsin. It is fast when you are browsing and specifically in gaming. The exterior of this laptop well designs. This MSI laptop is perfect for gaming. and certainly, I will recommend this product.

I have had this computer for several days now and can confidently say that it does the job well! I'm a college student who needs a capable computer that is able to last on a single charge and this computer checks both of those boxes! Overall I am very impressed with this computer! Would definitely recommend to anyone in my situation!

Over all the product is perfect for both convenience and gaming requirements. Since I am still a college student, the light weight gaming laptop precisely fits my demand of mobility and performance computer. Without any quality compromise, now I can play all types of game in the dorm. Thanks for making such a brilliant product for us!

THE BEST GAMING LAPTOP EVER!! I came to the store expecting to by a Mac for my architecture classes (I use programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUpPro 2018, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc... and boy, this computer exceeded my expectations!! Totally worth the buy!! Don't hesitate!! Get this gaming laptop when you have the chance!!!

I owned the previous model from MSI (the GS 63) so most of my comparison's will be coming from the older model in MSI's lineup. First of all, this is a great laptop. I haven't had any temp issues while gaming on a desk, Temps were my biggest concern with a laptop this small but so far so good. That being said, I think Best Buy could have done a better job letting customers know this isn't a normal GS 65. The BB model has a slower harddrive, cheaper wifi card, and a lower price. For me it was well worth it - but Best Buy trying to pass of theirs $300 bucks cheaper as an amazing deal is a little 'used-car-salesman-ee'. Just add 'b' to the end of the model number and own it. The laptop is an absolute pain to upgrade yourself. More so than with other manufactures, make sure you get the specs you'll want a year or two down the road. The power button is back on top! (where it should be). Battery life is NOT the advertised 8 hours, but I can constantly get around 7 watching YouTube and doing homework (mostly coding and writing). In Overwatch I'm seeing about 150fps on Ultra with the GPU getting up to 76C or so. Well within my comfort range. That's the only shooter I play, so I keep the frames down for everything else to be nice to the GPU. The speakers are .... adequate. They're on the bottom, so I actually get the best sound out of them laying in my bed watching movies. On a desk.... honestly I'd recommend a comfy set of headphones. They'll work for YouTube, but other media really suffers. The size of this thing deserves its own paragraph. The previous model - with the same size 15.6" screen - is almost 2 inches wider than the GS 65. When I went to the store to pick it up, I was convinced they had handed me a 13" model.... it's without a doubt the smallest 15" laptop I've ever scene. I bought the MSI because of it's size, the fact its one of the only gaming laptops with an Ethernet port, and MSI seems to know what they're doing. They also offer a year of drop protection if you register the laptop when you buy it - which is really nice. The only thing its missing (which the GS 63 had) is an SD card slot - which I may have only used once or twice but its really nice to have, especially on a 'flagship' type device. Even a micro would make switching cell phones a lot less painless. tldr: Great machine, awesome specs, super small, but one too many quirks to get 5 stars.

Hi, I was between this laptop and a MacBook Pro, and I'm glad I went with this one. Not only are the specs just completely high end in all ways, programming with this machine is smooth, its extremely portable, super quiet, and responsive. MSI did an awesome job with making a laptop that looks sleek and stylish especially at work.

I needed a laptop for college that I could also use for gaming. This laptop is perfect for both. It has the power to run any game you can imagine but also has the sleekness and portability needed for college. The 144 fps screen is beautiful and great for gaming. The look of the laptop is low profile, other than the RGB backlit keyboard. It has the feel and look of a high-end notebook but doesn’t give the look of a gaming laptop. The screen bezels are super slim other than the bottom one but if any bezel is going to be big that’s the best one. The dragon center is really nice and customizable. The only cons that I have with this laptop is that it runs super hot when it is under load, but any slim gaming laptop is going to have that problem. The webcam isn’t the greatest, but is in a good spot on the top bezel. The touchpad isn’t the best but I use an external mouse so it doesn’t bother me. Also the motherboard is flipped so upgrading the ram or SSD will have to be done by a professional or someone who really knows what they are doing. All in all the laptop is great for gaming and productivity and I would recommend it to anyone!

This was my first pc purchase in over 10 years, I was happy with my MAC for daily use but obviously it is lacking in gaming potential. If MSI keeps making PCs like this I will never buy another Mac for the rest of my life. The build quality is awesome and the specs of the pc speak for themselves. Berry happy with my purchase.

Good for portability, VR ready, runs most AAA games.

This was my first non apple computer/ laptop and I am very happy with this laptop. I have little issues with this laptop and it runs games with ease and also can do render video for editing easily. By far the best laptop I have used and definitely recommend this laptop to anyone who enjoys playing games on PC or editing videos.

As soon as the laptop is taken out of the box, its beautiful design and lightweight is noticed immediately. The laptop itself feels well built and with attention to detail in mind. The fans are not really loud and when playing video games it feels majestic.

This is a great laptop. It is light weight and small, however it still feels like good quality. The screen feels large do to the size of the laptop and the thin bezels. There is some flex to the keyboard area, but it doesn't feel flimsy. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a smaller laptop with good specs.

I am going to college in a month and this is my first ever laptop. I regularly play video games on my desktop computer, but it would be too much of a hassle to bring that with me, so this laptop is a really good substitute. I really like this because I can not only take notes and study on it, but I can also play games.

This is a beautiful gaming laptop with a simple yet professional design. The Nvidia 1070 graphics card paired with intel’s core i7-8750H processor can run any games at high to max settings, as well as render 4K video. Overall, I’m very impressed with their thin stealth laptops packed with high performance technology.

I've had this laptop for a few months now. When it comes to gaming, this laptop performs incredibly well for its size. The Witcher 3 on Ultra settings averages about 55 fps with 75-80 CPU temp and 75-80 GPU temp. The new Monster Hunter game on max settings averages about the same fps but the CPU temp hits 90. If you’re worried about that, it’s not an issue with the laptop but with the game. It’s the way the game is optimized. When it comes to performance, it breezes through everyday use with its powerful specs. The SSD on board is fast. If you’re coming from an HDD, then the difference is huge. Boot time is around 5-6 seconds and games load incredibly fast too. The only issue I have with this laptop is upgradability. As you might already know, the motherboard is flipped.. for some reason. It’s not impossible but it is definitely a lot harder than most gaming laptops. The 512 GB SSD on board is not enough for my gaming needs and I plan to install another SSD but it’s going to be a hassle and I will have to be extremely careful. Overall I will give this laptop a 4.5 out of 5.
