The specs really speak for themselves. I have been using it now for a couple of hours and I am extremely pleased. The refresh rate on the laptop screen is absolutely incredible. Such smooth movement.

This laptop packs so much power in such a thin, lightweight package that I can only determine it was engineered by wizards at MSI. This laptop is fantastic and I'd buy another MSI in a heartbeat.

Just had the product for a week so far so good i tried all my games and it just play it without a problem. I love the way it looks also it doesn't look like a gamer laptop which is good for me.

Amazing laptop. It looks clean, design is great, build is great and runs perfectly. 512 GB and a 1070 is more than enough to run what I need.

An excellent laptop for someone who is looking for a 15" laptop which is portable. All black and gold rim makes it look very stylish and not like other gaming laptops which are full of lights all around. Metal chassis is sturdy, has small bezels so laptop size is much smaller comparatively. Overall a very powerful laptop, but for this particular model, 2 things to know, 1. its a 1070 max-q graphics (which is also good for keeping the laptop cooler), 2. it has a 512 m2 sata ssd, not a nvme (other model have nvme which are way way more responsive, so might want to upgrade). difficult to upgrade as well, motherboard is upside down, a professional installation is recommended

i was looking for a gaming laptop that wasn't as bulky and heavy as an alienware but packed strong performance - i finally found the winner. :)

This is the best laptop I've ever owned. I want to keep my review less "techy" and geared toward the more casual buyer. This laptop is the perfect mix of "portability" and "performance." My goal in a laptop was to find those two things. Most gaming laptops are very thick and heavy...whereas, most thin/light laptops are lacking in performance (no graphics card, limited processor, etc). I decided to spring for the GS65 and I love it. Awesome performance and very portable. I use it mostly for work and at-home photo-shopping and video editing.

Great Laptop is very fast I don't have any problems so far it is not that hot as I thought it is very thin I love it. The only thing that I just found now is that it don't had a SD card slot.

I cannot believe how amazing this laptop can be. For something almost as light as something like a macbook pro, you get something with full desktop performance in it. Many of my friends and colleges have desktops that cannot even come close to the performance this laptop can put out. It does get fairly hot whenever you run performance heavy games, and using VR for instance. The best thing about this laptop, however, is the fact that it looks professional. You get a laptop like an Alienware, and that just looks agressive and unprofessional. While with this laptop, I would be comfortable taking it to a business meeting (given you turn off some of the RGB on the keyboard).

Initial Review: Looks amazing and feels pretty solid. so far so good.. Installing some pretty hardcore games once i have tested them with heavy load i will update my review with the performance test. I will be happy to give it 5 star if it passes the performance test.

The internals and benchmarks i got are all great! Heat and noise very controlled. SUPER LIGHT!! BUT ALSO SUPER FRAGILE BUILD QUALITY! MINE CAME WITH A WARPED BOTTOM PANEL THAT MADE A CRACKING SOUND EVERY TIME I PICKED IT UP! ALL THE PANELING IS SUPER THIN! I think id rather have an extra pound of weight in building material than a 4 pound fragile machine..The 63vr was a bit better in quality build. DONT BUY THIS FOR KIDS OR IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING IT AROUND IN A BACK PACK, YOUR SCREEN WILL DEFFINETLY GET WARPED. SCRACTHES FROM KEYS OR ANYTHING REMOTELY SHARP WILL LEAVE MARKS. I originally purchased the Razer stealth 14inch. Super build quality! comparing them both is like a 10 to a 2.5 in build. in benchmarks MSI is a 9.5 RAZER stealth is an 8.5 in performance. SCREEN GOES TO THE MSI 100 PERCENT! BUT DONT BEND IT! IT HAS A LOT OF FLEX! I GIVE IT A 3.5! ID GIVE IT A 4.5 IF IT WAS A LITTLE MORE SOLID! .FOR THE MONEY ID RECOMEND THE STEALTH RAZERBLADE..

The laptop overall is one of the best that I have used in a while! I absolutely fell in love with the laptop I would not pick another one in the market. Super thin and really easy to use.

MSI have created an amazing laptop. It is truly a beast of a machine and will handle anything you throw at it very smoothly and gracefully.

I am not a gamer, but needed a very high computer that also allowed me to be portable. The display is fantastic and the computer is very light weight. The bloatware was quite a pain to deal with I ended up doing a clean windows install and then reinstalling all the drivers I needed. Kind of frustrating to have to do that with a 2k laptop.

I bought this laptop after buying the Razer Blade which was nothing but problems. I use this strictly for music production and it works great. Zero problems. I highly recommend it.

The price is unbeatable. Razer generally provides the same thing but with a much higher price tag. I believe their razer blade 15 with 1070 maxq card and 256gb is around 2400 bucks and you will need to pay several hundred more for another 256gb storage. That is like over 30% more than Gs65. Is razer blade 15 a better build machine?Yes, just a little bit. But it doesn't justify the premium you need to pay for getting into the razer ecosystem.

Just purchased this laptop because my other computer broke, overall this is an amazing laptop with top notch specs. You can run any modern titles on very high settings with no problems.

I used to have a bulky omen laptop which weighed around 12 pounds but recently switched to this because of how powerful it is and also how portable this beast is. 10/10 would recommend

This is one of my best investments of all time. I have had the laptop for a year and half, there are no negatives about it. The only thing I would like to note is that if you are trying to have this laptop be for on the go for long batter life, then you may need to look somewhere else. But if you are like me who is always by an outlet then you are in luck with this purchase. I play many different video games and stream on this laptop. I just wish I would have learned about this system years before. Would highly recommend.
