I'm early into using this, but I'm extremely impressed thus far. Even though power is clearly the most important factor in purchasing a gaming laptop, I have to start with a compliment towards the form factor: thin, (relatively) light, portable, low-key, just beautiful. Beyond that, that unassuming appearance masks impressive power and ease of use. My only real complaint is a rather mediocre track pad, but it's a gaming laptop, you're going to be using a mouse most of the time anyway. I spent a long time researching which gaming laptop to purchase, and I honestly feel I made the right choice in the end. Bravo.

I cannot believe the quality of this laptop. The hardware matches the beauty of the laptop itself. Between the crystal clear screen and disco light keyboard, I am in love.

A bit hesitate before purchasing, but this thing absolutely chugs games. Definitely recommend if looking to either get a gaming laptop or upgrade from your current one.

I both game and work with heavy processing applications. This laptop is nearly worthy of a full 5-star rating, but there are a few little things that pull it back to 4. First, the pros: The screen is gorgeous, and fast as heck. The body is slim, especially for what's packed inside, and looks more professional than most gaming laptops. I don't feel stupid bringing it to work with me. It's an absolute powerhouse for games and apps like Adobe Premiere. The cons: The body has a bit of an irritating flex that feels like it could have been avoided if they threw a few supports under the top paneling. It only ships with one stick of RAM and is apparently a pain to upgrade (I have not tried myself yet, but I will). Overall: This is probably in the top 3 best laptops on the market right now. It is pricey, but its price is still competitive with everything else in its class. I would recommend getting the gtx 1070 version, as the performance leap from the 1060 is significant, and other parts such as the RAM and drive can be upgraded later, while the GPU likely cannot.

With an 8th gen core i7 and a GTX 1070, it is amazing for playing any modern game and also great for work with its 8-hour battery life. I've been loving it so far.

Got this laptop setup and now downloading some steam games then ill put it thru its paces. So far the temps and build quality is top notch. Loving this laptop!!!!!

This laptop is light weight, and performs like bigger laptops. Plus it came with Windows....Razer makes you purchase Windows on top of the price of the laptop.

First time buying an MSI and I am not disappointed at all. Thin, Light, fast, and just out did themselves with the over all look. The performance is outstanding.

Small, sleek, sexy. Hard to beat an i7-8750H and a GTX 1070. Boots very quickly and the charger is quite small also. Definitely one of my favorite purchases.

It runs all of my games really smoothly and It can handle any setting i put it to. Definitely the best laptop I have ever invested in. Well worth the cost.

Absolutely gorgeous laptop, and build quality is also excellent. I did however have issues with wifi connection and screen stuttering, but troubleshooting on Google solved most of these issues. Only real complaint, why advertise 7 hour battery life when in reality, it's more like 2-3 hours?

I work for/with a marine founded gaming corporation by the name of VORSOC LLC. We are an adult gaming community of tactical gamers across multiple gaming platforms in multiple different games. Until I purchased my MSI gaming laptop, my gaming experience was limited to XBOX 1 only. After purchasing and setting up my new laptop, I have experienced a gaming experience that is beyond compare. The graphics card in this small laptop is so much better then the graphics that my XBOX 1 is capable of producing and the processing speed is exceeding in my pre-purchase expectations.

Couple of things that stood out at first but I'd give this review a 4.5 stars but it won't allow me. 1) The weight of the machine was light. I can carry this thing in my backpack and not complain about it breaking my back. Most gaming machines are basically bricks and take a toll on you but not this one. 2) Pretty powerful machine with good amount of battery life. I notice when I'm doing work/browsing things, my battery life is pretty solid. Only when I game it takes a toll on my battery but that's expected. 3) The bezels on this machine are thin and the screen itself is great. Definitely attractive at first sight. 4) Only complaint is that the material near the track pad where your wrist lay seems to be lacking in support via plastic. I believe this was addressed in the newer models though. Overall I am pretty happy about this purchase though. Would definitely like to see how future models will evolve. Definitely worth the price.

This is the best laptop computer, or any computer for that matter, that I have ever owned in my 30 years of owning computers, MSI nailed it with this one!!

I wanted something that could handle anything I could throw at it without breaking a sweat. I was between this, the Dell XPS 15 and the Razer Blade 15. I ended up choosing this one because of the great reviews and the fact that I feel you get way more bang for your buck. I couldn't be happier with my decision so far. I have loved that this laptop doesn't scream "gamer" but still performs amazingly. I have had no problems playing any current titles at around 120 fps on ultra or high settings. I have had great battery life and overall have been very happy with my purchase.

Had it for about a week and so far no complaints. It's played every new game that I've tried on ultra above 60fps. Very power and also very thin and light.

Other than some light bleed on the monitor it performed well. Oh and the heat was intense but a decent laptop cooler should do fine for any gaming session.

The laptop is so lighting fast. Nothing get in the way of gaming. With smooth graphics and powerful powerful processor, gaming is a whole new experience.

I do a fair amount of video and graphics work so I was looking for a new computer and everyone suggested I buy a gaming laptop. When we walked and my girlfriend saw the rainbow colored keyboard she was like "That's the one!" I ended up buying it (not because of the keyboard) but I do love it! It's WORLDS faster than my last computer. Love the fact it has an SSD. And it looks cool AF. I'm not a huge fan of the touch pad but that's minor.
