This computer was a must have purchase for me, as an engineering student and graphic desiginer, I need a computer that can keep up with the programs I need to run for school and work. This computer is also a powerhouse for gaming and all on the move. all I have to do is throw this bad boy, a mouse, and some headphones into a bag and I can take on any obstacle. From completing classwork and artwork, to reaching diamond tier in rainbow six; this computer has my back, at home and on the go. MSI stands up to their name unlike other companies that fall back on it. MSI is definitely the flagship of modern gaming and this laptop is proof from its sleek design, right down to its dragon center for optimizing performance for your needs. If you want just another computer that wont impress, look elsewhere. If you want a laptop that goes above and beyond the competition, can handle any task you throw at it, and out of the box feels like buying a brand new sports car? Buy this computer before you regret getting something worse. My only concern is the strength of the hinges for the screen, but unlike other laptops, the screen and lay completely flush with the keyboard so I am not worried about it breaking, but I will be more delicate with it, as I have broken many laptop screens that way before.

THis is an awesome laptop. but if you really plan on using it on your lap, you'll feel the heat. Other than that, I have had zero issues with this machine. I dont do a lot of gaming but the games i have played, Total War, Surviving Mars, have been at max settings with 60+ fps. The thing is it will get hot and the fans will spin up loud. Still, no regrets on this purchase and coming up on a year of use, it'll probably last me another 4.

Ok, love my Mac...but taking flight lessons for my private pilot's license and instrument rating...Macs and high end graphic cards? Not so much. This machine is thin, sleek, reasonably quiet, FAST and does amazing things with X-Plane 11. Going to need a new external monitor to keep up with the GEFORCE RTX 2060. Renders beautiful scenery. Very happy with the box. And Windows 10 is very different from the XP environment I last owned in the MS world. You have come a loooong way.

This is a great laptop. It's thinner, lighter, and quieter than my previous gaming laptop which had a 5700hq and a 970m. Mine came with one 16gb stick of ram which means it was only single channel and that really hurts performance. If you're not afraid to open this thing up and add another stick then buy it. I'm contemplating opening it up again and putting one of those graphite thermal pads on the CPU, but that's just the kind of person I am.

I managed to get this laptop for $1500 on sale, and I don't think that you can get any other laptop for the same performance at the same price. Before buying this laptop, I was debating between this, the Gigabyte Aero 15, and the Razer Blade 15 advanced. In terms of battery life and upgrade-ability, the Aero 15 has this laptop beat. However, reviews of the Aero 15 mentioning its constant software issues, its poor camera placement, and the inclusion of a numpad (I'd prefer a more centered typing experience) kept me from getting that device. For the Razer Blade 15, the build quality surely has this laptop beat. However, the Blade 15 has less ports, has only 1 m.2 ssd slot inside, and is around $1000 more expensive for a similarly spec'd model. This laptop on sale turned out to be the better value of all three of them when I saw the sale, and I don't regret getting this one over the others. In terms of aesthetics, power, and battery life, I think that this laptop is great for the money I spent on it.

I got this on a one day sale, saving 600 bucks, and for that price, this is a five star laptop. This thing needed a little work, to get cooler temps, but after repasting, it runs great, doesn't throttle much, and can play games in highest settings for hours. I was originally looking for a 13" laptop with similar price, but came upon this deal, and am glad I took it.

This laptop is really amazing. I got it because I needed a powerful lightweight machine to run databases and run machine learning models for my Master's degree and it has functioned perfectly. I was a little skeptical about gaming laptops at first because I heard they were bricks. But this is way thinner and lighter than my HP probook I had before.

You’ll have no performance problems, the only con about this laptop is the storage, you can always upgrade it though. its thin and the RGB lightning is great, you can customize it to any color and pattern. 100 percent would recommend. also the screen is not a problem if you really want a 17inch screen, 15.6 works just as fine.

I just opened up my new MSI Stealth, and I'm completely in love with this computer. It runs incredibly smooth and plays games at high settings. It runs all my programs with no issues. It feels amazing and weighs absolutely nothing. Just the best.

Awesome Gaming Laptop for the price. Has a lot of options that other companies would charge a lot more for. Also very light and ultra portable. you can bring it anywhere with you and game on the go. Recommend this to anyone who travels a lot and want a gaming PC that can handle anything you throw at it

I've had this laptop for over a year. The performance was better than the desktop computer i had at the time. Only issue I have is how noisy the fans get. Which when youre buying a laptop this thin and powerful you should expect. Some brands do better than others in this department but this is prob one of the louder ones.

I'm reviewing for the good one I got. The previous laptop was having issues so I exchanged it. The good: It's light, it has a nice design, and it is discreet. It's a powerful sleek laptop at a great price. You pay a premium for its small size. The bad: build quality.

I got the MSI GS65 out of the lack of laptops Best Buy had in the store and due to the pressure of buying a laptop that day, I took this one. The RTX (Ray Tracing) features are not widely available or widely utilized by game developers at the moment of this review but I do enjoy the one game that uses the RTX feature. I do not like the flexibility of the bottom panel though do to the bending and morphing due to being transported in and out of my bag on the regular. The plastic pieces that holds the screws into the computer has mostly broken off and one of the rubber pads levitating the computer off of the surface has fallen off as well. The computer does get hot to the point of thermal throttling on the CPU. The CPU does need a new layer of thermal high quality paste but it is a pain to perform such task. Upgrading the RAM as well as the storage is also extremely lengthy. I do wish I did not purchase the computer in 2019 due to the great reduction of the RTX cards after my purchase.

Wow! What an amazing little laptop. I often travel and wanted something that was not heavy and had the power to play the best games. So far everything I have tries to play has run flawlessly at Ultra settings. Very happy with my purchase.

This laptop is the perfect Ultrabook. It's slim. Fast. Current on all the latest hardware. And the latest generation for gaming. When I saw this deal come out I called Best buy immediately, and bought it within 45 minutes. Perfection.

I like everything about this laptop except the fact that it is fragile and the chassis is not rigit. The screen and the keyboard are excellent, battery life is amazing for a gaming machine, temperatures are well maintained.

Excellent power management, does not over heat. Fun keyboard, managing color control takes a bit to get the hang of but is a great option. Fast, sturdy, fun, would buy again over HP, Dell, Lenovo of which I have also owned.

My boyfriend chose this gaming laptop after careful evaluation and comparison. The display is stunning and the customizable keyboard is a plus. So far -very happy. Lightweight, good battery life and the display!

This laptop is great. It's thin, lightweight and pretty solid. The battery life is amazing when just using for general computing. I get around 7 hours of non-gaming use because it disables the GTX 2060 when it's not in use. It also has a indicator light next to the power button to tell you which GPU is in use so you can modify applications to use the full GPU or not. The lid is not as solid due to it's thin build, but that's a consequence or all thin and light laptops. The worst part is the speakers. They are very biased to the high end and you barely get low ends. Even watching videos, the speakers are bad, but I rarely use the speakers. All in all it's a great buy, and the 144hz screen is beautiful.
