I use it for video editing and play FFXIV with max laptop settings. The fans are loud so I bought a laptop pad called, Thermaltake Massive 20 RGB Steel Mesh Panel Single 200mm. It runs quiet and it helps the laptop get cooked by 5-7° C. The RGB feature on the laptop keyboard is amazing! Overall, this laptop looks stylish and feels stylish.

QC and heat issues

Out of the box the keyboard had broken LEDs and the screen had a cluster of hot pixels. It also runs very hot. It’s a known issue with this laptop. CPU will be a constant 95C under moderate stress unless you undervolt it with 3rd party software. Manufacturer replaced all the flawed parts, but only after I spent $85 to ship the laptop to them.

Great Machine for Productivity and Gaming

This laptop hits the sweet spot between specs and weight. It's portable and lightweight so that I can carry it to class without having to sacrifice on great specs/performance. MSI has done a great job with their cooler boost trinity to keep thermal throttling to a minimum.
