Had an MSI before but too big. Love the portability of this one.

Way faster than I would have expected it to be. Does run hot, but with repaste (Kryonaut or LM) makes a huge difference. The software (Dragon Center) is a bit finicky, and most people tend to delete it. Aside from that, great for the price. I do recommend going with the 2070, or 2070 Super if you can afford it. The bios on the GPU can be reflashed with the Razer 2060 for a nice bump in power with 0 issues.

Lots of features, great display, sized right. Great for schoolwork on weekdays and for weekend gaming.

This laptop is the best and nicest I have ever owned, and I have owned. Lot of them over the years. The display and graphics is excellent. Videos, like movies, are in an obvious quality HD. The sound is also good without the need to always add an external speaker. All in all this is great.

The laptop performs excellently. Was getting very hot at stock voltages playing games at high frame rates, but that's to be expected in such a small form factor. Undervolting and limiting 6 core turbo to 3.0ghz helped keep the CPU from throttling. GPU runs surprisingly cool.

The laptop is good, don't get me wrong, good build quality, good performance (if you consider the form factor and can live with the throttling) BUT it has one serious design flaw, the green color from the RGB keyboard fails FREQUENTLY, search about, there are many reports online and MSI and the only option is to RMA the laptop.... Mine failed after 1 month of use!!!

I initially looked at this but it was outside of what I wanted to pay so I was going to get an alienware open box then I saw they had this for Black Friday. I mainly play Destiny and Im able to run it on the highest settings and its stupid smooth. My only gripe is that it took some tuning to get the colors right where it looked good in game.

I tried to order alienware and had problems with the company right away so I opted to give a try to this MSI. I have had it for 1 month. It works very well. I will need to add memory. I liked buying thru best buy with a geek squad protection: 3 years. I look forward to adding some extra space. I haven't tried yet but it seems simple.

I gave 4 stars because the fan so loud when playing games.

Love the thing but id give the keyboard a 3 or 4 the computers cpu heats up quite a bit so you have to modify some settings but mine runs pretty cool and for being so slim you can’t expect much cooling. Got mine for 1300$ can’t beat the price

Amazing build, laptop looks gourgeous. Keyboard doesnt feel super cheap, the backlit keys are a major plus. Got the laptop on a huge sale, definetly getting my moneys worth. Can get a little loud but not super obnoxious. Overall, solid.
