Great laptop. Will handle anything. Updated the hard drive to 1 terabyte. That’s when I found that the mother board was in an upside down position. I got it in there and works great!

I got this gaming laptop on sale during the Black Friday deals. It was $500 off the original price. I looked at many different gaming laptops and this one had the best system for the money, in my opinion.

I ultimately returned this laptop within the 14 day return period. I was unhappy with a couple of things. The hinges are made of plastic, and it feels and looks cheap. On a device at this cost, especially when the rest of the body of the laptop is metal, the plastic hinges were a deal breaker. Additionally I was unhappy with the battery management software that I couldn't find a way around...it would not allow me to charge the battery beyond 80% most of the time, despite what settings I used in Win10 power management. I looked through the BIOS too. No luck. I want the option to charge my device fully every time it's plugged in.

MSI App Player is an Andriod device simulator. It's on the machine default. With this App, I don't need to download or pay for other Andriod simulators. I love this feature, and it surprised me.

This product deserves 5 stars but I could only give it 4 due to software that was supposed to come with it not being included. Not sure if that’s on Best Buy or MSI. Bought it for VR and it functions flawlessly with my oculus. Can’t go wrong with a MSI.

I can’t say enough about this laptop. Super fast and great features.Love the backlit keyboard. Connectivity is also fantastic. Would highly recommend this gamer.

This laptop is great! I use it for video editing, gaming, and running virtual machines for various projects. It handles everything I throw at well.

Bought for my son for college. He loves it and it is easy to use. He is going for computer coding and this is a great computer for that and his homework.

Great for what I need. Video editing. Only set back, a bit on the heavy side. There wasn’t a model one in store. I prob wouldn’t of purchased it if I knew this first had. But, it does the job.

Does everything i need it to for working and gaming. The one concern i have is how hot the cpu gets. This cpu seems to get throttled quite a bit

Great for working on the go, not so heavy and very powerful. Only real downside so far is brightness, having trouble working outside in the sun. Hinges seem finicky but so far so good.

I really like this laptop, but I was looking for a bigger screen (and cheaper). So I decided for a Lenovo 17" with a 1660Ti

I've started playing with 3D modeling and wanted this computer to help with my classes. It is awesome and meets all my needs!

Makes a lot of noise which is common in most of the gaming laptops and also the body temperature tends to increase drastically mainly on the left side which you can feel when typing.

I have used this laptop for gaming and 3D imaging with Maya. It handles the 3D rendering really well and the gaming is clear

This computer was exactly what my son wanted. I haven't seen him for a month! :) Seriously, he is enjoying it greatly.

Keyboard LEDS started to die after 9 months. Notorious for running hot, I can confirm it gets hot, 80c very quickly, under light load. Battery life is solid. The Dragon Center is bloatware that doesn’t work well. MSI warranty is awful. Consider something else you heavily vet. I’m not so unhappy I will buy to replace anytime soon, but for the price- I shouldn’t have to. I am unlikely to buy another MSI laptop.

This is the perfect laptop for the new or old college student for everything from video editing and gaming.

Overall great laptop, my only con would be if and when you want to upgrade the SSD it’s located behind the motherboard , other then that it’s a great device !

So far so good with this laptop. Boots quickly, plenty of storage, and does everything I need it to do.
