I bought Model: GE62 APACHE PRO-004. Over all the laptop is good but has room for improvement. Pros: Has good specs, Inttel 6th generation I7, 6700HQ, good amount of memory 16 GB. 1TB of hard drive space. Runs fairly well, I did not see much of a problem with anything. Screen size and quality fairly good. Cons: I do not like keyboard as much, the keys are responsive but I just haven gotten used to it. Some keys are placed on odd places like the Windows key. It is a good thing I don't use that key too often. I expect to see that on the left but instead is on the right. I can turn off the lights on the keyboard but when you reboot the computer, the lights come back on automatically. I need to find out if I can turn them off for good. The quality of the construction of the monitor is not so good, you have got to open it with two hands, one on each corner or one hand from the middle. It bends easily if you grab it from one corner, I am afraid it might get damaged. I like much more the construction of the Asus Model: Q553UB-BSI7T13. I don't like the touchpad, it does not support gestures so you have to use the arrow keys to scroll or you have attach an external mouse. Gestures should be a feature of every laptop sold today. The fan is always on, it does not turn off and on when processor gets hot. The memory can be increased and it has a slot for an M.2 SSD hard drive but opening this thing is a major task, you have to take out every single screw, there are lots of them. I would have like a cover with 2 or 3 screws and have easy access to add SSD or memory. The Intel Graphics 530 driver crashes very often when you start using the computer, it crashed about 30 times while doing the registration. Oddly enough the problem went away when I updated the NVidia driver. Not sure why the Nvidia driver fixes the problem with the Intel Driver. I check but could find an update from Microsoft that would have affected the Intel Driver. I was thinking of returning it because of the touchpad but I think I am just going to deal with it.

I was long over due for a computer. And to test I dumped all over my needed applications and added some games to see how this baby would preform. The built in extra fan that you can turn on an off is pretty cool and the man amount of customization you can do to the back light on the keyboard. The sound though very clear and clean for music sounds pretty echo-y for movies and videos. Other than that its a great machine. But of course....avoid getting windows 10 for as long as you can

This was a gift for my gamer son. He is very pleased with the laptop and has only one complaint. He does not like the speakers at all. Looks like he'll be getting wireless speakers for Christmas!

Fan does get loud if on it for too long but that is the one negative

I purchased this for my college bound son who also enjoys gaming. it seemed expensive but he loves it!

This machine is a beast; plays all games at Ultra or High settings.

Works great! Being used by a gamer kid said it lives up to what they expected.

Great balance of performance and price. Sound quality is excellent too.

I love this computer. It's fast and powerful. However there are a few reasons why I didn't give it a 5. One, the sound is kinda quiet even after adjusting. Two, maybe it's me, maybe it's the system. However. I couldn't even get an agent to fix this, it won't power back on after I put it to sleep. I changed all kind of settings and even looked to see if the BIOS was up to date and it was. Update after update it wouldn't power on properly after I closed the lid. So I end up just shutting it down. A little annoying but I can live with it. Don't let my negative comments sway you though. It is a great computer especially if you game. Its fast and powerful. Also, LOVE the dual fan. Keeps the CPU and GPU cool. Overall, it is a great buy and I don't regret getting this computer.

I've used it for couple months, and here is some sharing: + really fast with SSD + the graphics is amazing as GTX960M + excellent keyboard as steelseries + anti-reflection screen + light for the performance you get + can turn the cooling fans off and on as needed, makes using it so much easier and more stable

Its an excellent laptop with many different features!! (especially the steelseries, which is my favor) As a gamer, I am satisfied with the greater graphics, and it has a high quality appearance.

Just received the laptop, and it's everything I hoped for. While I still have not been able to try it out 100%, it does have everything that it promised, furthermore, it comes with a great warranty service and everything, truly a great computer that blows the mind for its honestly cheap price for what it is. Loved it.

The MSI GS70 laptop that I purchased would not power up so I called MSI for service. I was told by MSI customer service that the MSI warranty is based on the manufacturing date not from date of purchase, so it started months before I purchased it (a date that I couldn't have possibly been aware of). This is a fact that I would have liked to know before I purchased it. Also all repairs need to be mailed to MSI California warehouse (shippiing paid by user), Best Buy cannot do repairs on MSI laptops.

Bad customer service. Problems with computer once I turned it on. I've had it three months. They told me to send it in and I Have to pay for shipping and be without my laptop for 30 days. I spent $1500 and they can't pay for shipping .
