Overall i like it as it is light enough to bring around and powerful enough for what it for in my daily life. The only thing i don't like after 5 year is the battery doesn't last as long as it did in the beginning not say that it lasted long in the first place but i could push it to like 4- 5hrs. Now it lasts only 1-2 hrs.

As stated above my various different reviewers this laptop is a powerhouse. The bloatware truly will slow it down as with any store-bought laptop and removing it all is simple just do a fresh windows install. Make sure to just have an external HDD or flash drive w/8gb available. There is all kinds of posts online about how to do it and it makes a huge difference. Second is the undervolting, it is so simple to do with the Intel XTU app which can be downloaded. Other then that replacing the 1tb HDD isn't a must right away but can be done down the road. I was choosing between the ASUS ROG and Eluktronics models. I couldn't pass up the slick look of this laptop and being able to buy it in store made a huge difference. As for the screen I cant tell the difference between IPS and this FHD model. 10/10 Would recommend. Feel free to ask any questions.

I bought this laptop two weeks ago and I enjoy it everyday. I play a wide range of things from Ffxiv all the way to Nier Automata. I am able to play every game in Max setting in 1080p. I really havent tried to play anything in 4k or any higher resolution then what is on the display. portability is really the biggest winner of this laptop, i canr bring this anywhere from school to home or to a friends house for a Lan Party. The only real two downsides and these are most common can be heat and battery life. But this is a gaming laptop heat is going to happen and battery life is affected greatly by the i7 processor, Ram and graphics card. Even with the downsides I think this is the best laptop for the size if you're looking for a portable gaming laptop IF anyone has questions about this laptop let me know, I would be glad to answer any questions

Very good laptop. Still runs fine. Battery doesn't last long anymore but that's to be expected.

When I first started looking at laptops that suited my needs as an engineering student, I had a very specific list of requirements. Price was not much of a concern as I knew that any device with the specifications I required would be somewhat pricey. However, when I came across the MSI GS63 Stealth models, I was completely convinced that it is possible to get a laptop with a core i7 processor, 16 gigs of RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE graphics card, and 256 gb SSD for under $1500. I was most concerned about practicality, so things such as screen resolution were not a major concern. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend this unit to anybody who needs to run major programs such as any CAD program, or any gamers. It is a great, versatile device that covers a wide range of the user spectrum.

Here are the pros- first off i'll start with the speed. It can run most games amazingly, and fast, and can download, and upload at great speeds. it has a good enough ram gb to get the job done, and make it work like it should. the picture is great, not the best but great quality. some of features most msi computers come with makes me love them, including adjustable speed, and the fully customizable keyboard colours and patterns. I Also love the combination of HDD, and SSD. The cons- First on this list is the price. Though great quality, its a bit pricey considering you may be able to get a better custom model at around the same price second is the low gb in the ssd. I understand the hdd has 1 tb but the pc recognizes the lower storage one as the main drive, and tends to fill up quickly especially if filling your computer with games, of course their are ways to direct the storage onto the other drive, but it can be a hassle, and some may not understand how to do it. For the price i would have wanted atleast 500gb ssd if i knew it would be the main drive The button, charger placement, and track pad. it uses one of the newest models of a trackpad without the bottom buttons, which i personally hate and find hard to use, id recommend using a usb mouse if you get this. The power button is on the side of the laptop, and its weird, and I really didnt know how to turn it on at first, another problem with the power button is you have to hold it down to turn it on or out of sleep mode, not a simple press like others. This would be fine though if they explained it in the setup manual, since i thought i had a dud at first. Last the charger port, its also in a weird spot, on the middle, on the side. Im not sure if it was trying to be different but it was impractical, feels weird, and i find i accidentally knock it out more often, i hope they avoid these design aspects in future models But in the end i find the pros out weight the cons, it's a hardy laptop that can handle some great graphics, if you have more than enough cash to spend i'd recommend it (while also recommending you to upgrade the ssd). For this i give it 4/5 stars

This laptop was easy to setup and gives instant access to windows as soon as you sign into/create a Microsoft account. I haven't had it for very long but I have been using it mostly for gaming and it works well. I have had only a small number of lag spikes below 60 fps. My only problem which doesn't bother me much is that to get the best performance you have to sacrifice battery life. The browsers are also easy to use and run smoothly with little to no error. It is also thin and doesn't weigh very much compared to most other gaming laptops.

Bought this for school, since I will be going to college and needed something to use. Overall, it is the best laptop for a student who wants to do some light gaming. It is not too thick, and weighs less than many other laptops of similar size. The screen is a perfect 15 inches, and the keyboard is very nice, featuring per key rgb. Spec wise, it features a hexacore i7 and a gtx 1060, along with 16 gbs of ram, enough for anyone. don't really have any complaints with the laptop

This laptop is great overall, but I have not read any reviews on the performance in games. So I will include some benchmarks. Out of the box the laptop is lightweight, and the keyboard is feels and great. The fans only get loud when gaming when the laptop is idle they fans are not noticeable. The screen looks great and the colors are calibrated perfectly. benchmarks: Battlefield 1- i was able to maintain 60 fps with some dips below 60 with the settings on ultra.

This laptop has handled everything I've thrown at it with ease. The only downsides are some ease of use and convenience issues. The speakers are really quiet, the volume/mute buttons are hard to get to, and the charger adapter weighs almost as much as the laptop itself. The aluminum brush finish also collects finger prints very very easily. Still, the performance is fantastic and it does everything I need it to do.

After going through the cheaper route I finally decided to extend my price range, I am glad I did. this laptop will not disappoint I have been playing forza 7 at max settings. Haven't had any issues with this one except the battery life.I have really tried to over load the laptop, So far been taking everything I throw at it and laugh at me. BOTTOM LINE JUST BUY IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

This laptop runs great. The new GTX 1060 offers a huge improvement over the previous 970. Games like Overwatch, Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V, etc. run smooth as butter on very-high/ultra (they do not dip below 60FPS). When playing Overwatch, my temps run at ~60C which are way better than the previous model (~76 C). You'll be able to caress the most demanding and future titles with much needed TLC. Note: I had to mess with the GeForce Experience to disable the in-game overlay they force down your throat, and uninstalled some unnecessary programs first (*note some reviews describing a problem with the stuttering, which is a problem caused by this from my experience). To be fair, though, the Experience thing is a flaw from Nvidia, not this laptop. After that, it was smooth sailing. Buy a laptop fan stand to keep temps down (this applies to any gaming computer). Also, no G-Sync (why?) which is kind of a downer for those using external 144hz monitors considering this thing can pump more than 60FPS on most games, but this is something extra and you'd have to get at least 120 fps on high-end games for you to be able to notice a difference.

So it’s true this computer is a little pricey but all in all it’s a great computer for both gaming and college purposes. As of now I’m focused more on gaming and I’m astonished by how amazing the graphics look. One minor set back would indeed be the speaker system just 3 days after buying it and they sound as if they’re feet away from me.

The msi GS63 stealth is the perfect medium between performance and weight. It's not the lightest laptop out there but the power packed into .7" thin laptop runs most of my games at 60 fps on High-Ultra settings. The keyboard feels great but the track pad sucks but who cares about that. 10/10 would review again.

This is a great computer that can withstand hours upon end of gaming as well as running programs that I need for school. Definitely would recommend this computer to anyone who asks. The only downsides would maybe be the heat and possibly the battery life. Overall a great piece of technology.

This laptop has exceeded our expectation and as packed with features. Its a very easy to use laptop. Very fast, lightweight and reliable. Perfect laptop for the price.

I am very new to the world of gaming laptops and I wanted to get something that could run most all of the games I wanted and be fairly easy to move around. this laptop has delivered on all fronts. This baby runs like a charm and is quick to boot up, the steelseries keyboard has a very satisfying feel to it and the RGB makes for a great experience. The only real con I can think of is that sometimes the fans can get loud when in game but that's to be expected when you're running a graphics heavy game and it's nothing a pair of headphones can't solve.

This laptop has many amazing features and I am amazed by how it runs, but the only downside to it is that the battery seems to run out quickly.
