Laptop build quality was better than the rest of the gaming computers I looked at. Gets a bit hot from gaming but has not been too detrimental. Came with Norton bloatware that I would prefer to not be preinstalled. Great computer and not overly priced.

Blazing fast laptop with solid battery life for the specs. Though the fans can get a little loud when gaming I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone.

This laptop was a gift for my son. He needed a laptop for his games. This seemed perfect. So far it is. All his games are working and very fast.

Good solid build quality and performance. Can power through video rendering with ease. Pretty much delivers on the hype the promises. The power button, as others may have pointed out, is in a weird place, but is the only fault I can find.

Works great. I love how thin it is and the keyboard is awesome. Unfortunately l, Best Buy switches out the good IPS screen for this version, which is not that great, but gets the job done for a reasonable price drop, especially since I got this on sale for $150 off. Tried multiple other models and this one was the best. Coming from someone who is used to using a MacBook, I wish that the trackpad felt a little more solid. It kind of feels loose and the laptop can actually bend a little too easy, but that's going to come with how light and thin it is. Definitely worth the money though

As of right now, the computer is awesome. The LED lights behind the keyboard look really cool, the boot up time is about 5 seconds, and the computer is really fast with lots of storage. Be careful not to stack the SSD with all your memory or it will heavily increase your boot up time. I did that accidentally at first and it took minutes to boot up. Besides that.. the computer is great and the video it offers when playing games is awesome. The battery life is also really good but I just got the computer a month ago so we'll see if it lasts.

Maybe not as quick or fancy as the Alienware but still a good purchase, especially if you get it on sale. Reliable components and good speed on access to the drive. Overall not the fastest but still a good buy if the price is right.

The laptop itself is ok, however heats up very fast and when on Internet Explorer, a white line appears on the right side when watching youtube.

The unique keyboard colors is fantastic. Also the Dedicated nvidia geforce dedicated graphics make it super fast. The speakers voice is not loud enough.

We absolutely love this gaming laptop and the power it has as a laptop for gaming is impressive. I really like the lighted keyboard too!

Be aware that this keyboard (and the MSI series) has problems with the space bar. If you're a fast typer, this becomes a huge pain. Otherwise, haven't had any problems with the laptop other than problems with windows itself. A GREAT laptop.

Definitely the #1 gaming laptop. The features and cost were well within the range and you couldnt find a better laptop with this quality.

Great laptop, plenty of extra storage for installing games. I can play Witcher 3 at 60fps at 1080p. More than happy with the purchase!

This laptop is amazing. I bought it specifically so I could easily use solidworks on it. I've never had a computer with a solid state drive and the boot up time is unbelievably fast. It has an insane amount of storage on it and it runs so smoothly. The display is the best and I can't wait to really get into using solidworks on it since it has an awesome graphics card. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great laptop. It really doesn't compare to the touch screen ones that are similar in price.

Games well, excellent storage. Just don't expect battery life, it is for gaming...

I purchased this machine for two reasons. I was looking for a laptop that could handle multiple very large photoshop files without any hiccups, and music production. This machine has exceeded all expectations!

I purchased the MSI gaming laptop because I have several programs that take up a lot of space. I bought it as a work computer and not something to play games on. So far (after I figured out MS 10) it has operated flawlessly 8-12 hours per day. I like the colored key board and the ability it gives to work at night without any external lighting. The only negative I can think of is the price which is IMHO quite a lot. I probably could have gotten along with a less costly lap top but overall, I'm pleased with my MSI.

Here are some cons of this product, the screen is not very good bacause it's not IPS. SSD seems not very fast. Fan will become very noisy when you run a big game. But the performance of this product is very good.

This laptop has exceeded my expectations. I have not encountered any trouble with it yet and it has performed as it should while playing modern games. I haven't noticed any excess heat during long gaming sessions which has surprised me substantially. Even with the machine sitting on my lap on the couch I haven't noticed very much heat while playing games. The keyboard lighting looks amazing in person. I would and have recommended this item to my friends and family.

I need a laptop that would work well as a desktop setup using a monitor and keyboard when not out and about. I’m not a fan of touch screen or small screens and found this as a perfect solution.
