I actually like the size of this computer. I was leaning toward the 17 inch but it wasn't in stock. I don't really do much gaming except for WOW. I do more video editing and it works pretty well for that too. The only thing so far that I don't like it the power button is right next to the delete button.

The MSI has a ton of power in the surprisingly small case. It zips through games really well, with a great refresh rate. Though a 4K screen would have been nice, it would also have been much more expensive. I've been using this to also get CAD and creative work done, too. Great value, and great GPU.

It's a bit loud when the second cooling fan is on. But the power, space, speed, graphics are worth the noise just get some headphones. The lighted keyboard is cool but annoying.. but you can turn that off. And you can also up grade it to a 64gb too so this is a smart investment for me. Definitely recommend it

key popped off after a few. it doesn't have the best temperature control. fast. though

I recently decided to upgrade from an Xbox and get a gaming laptop, this has exceeded expectations. It can easily run every game you could dream of and the all black design is sexy. I haven't had any issues with this laptop in the 2 weeks of having it. I would highly suggest getting this laptop!

Just got the laptop today and after setting it up it runs amazingly well. I can do everything I need to do on it and then I have enough battery life to game on it for up to 6 hours. I would recommend this laptop to any gamer or student who needs a laptop with serious power, storage, and speed.

All around great gaming experience. Minus the fan noise. With a headset on can’t hear a thing.

First-time purchase MSI laptop. Thin and strong laptop with a good design. The battery life is longer than I think. I thought it is original 2070, not the 2070MQ, But still fine. The fan noise is fine if you use silent mode. If you need a laptop to want to use outside, not a bad choice.

After about 2 months with this laptop I have almost no complaints with it. Screen - Amazing, the 240hz refresh rate makes everything look so buttery smooth. The color and brightness are also good considering its a matte finish, but it makes it easier to use on the go. Keyboard - Back light is great, the colors are bright but not distracting. Customization is super easy with the steel series software. Track pad - I really like the size and how accurate it is, my one complaint is the its a little too close the space bar. whenever I use space I would move the mouse, but that was an easy fix with an external mouse and disabling the track pad. Speakers - The speakers are good, they are loud and clear. I personally didn't use them as I use a headset but from what experienced the were pretty decent. Body - All aluminum body is also a nice touch, it makes the laptop lightweight but also feel sturdy. My only complaint is that due to the all metal body when you're in an intense gaming session or are using it for a while it tends to run really hot. Temps- Like i said it tends to run hot after a while. If you plan on using it on your lap for a while i would recommend a lap desk. One of the more common complaints I hear is the the fans get rather loud, to which I agree. To some it might be a con but i wasn't really that impacted, I usual use a head set so i really didn't mind. Hardware - One of the main reasons I went with the Best Buy model was the fact that it included a RTX 2070 Max-Q. Given the price it was a really good deal for me, and as an added bonus Best Buy also included a 1TB SSD. The 2070 Max-Q handles most games on ultra at 1080p, but newer or more demanding games might not run at the full 240hz refresh rate, if you want to reach that you might want to go for lower settings or a less demanding game. The 6-core i7-10750H pairs nicely with the 2070 and with Intels Turbo Boost it really performed well. The 16gbs of ram are good starting point and depending on what you want to do with it, you can always upgrade down the road up to 64gbs. Upgrading - As far as opening it up for upgrades, it was a bit harder to access due to the aluminum body. If you plan on doing your own upgrades you might want to invest in a pry kit, it made things a lot easier and didn't scratch up the edges of the body. The nice touch that I like is all the exchangeable components had their own heat shield, which really comes in handy with the high heat the laptop can produce. If you plan on expanding the storage beware that it doesn't include an extra heat shield for the expansion slot so you may one to buy one. On the topic of storage it only has two M.2 slots, one of which is equipped with the pre-installed SSD. So if you plan on expanding you will only be able to use an M.2, no comparability with standard SSDs or HDDs. At the end of the day I was super happy with my purchase. I got exactly what I wanted, at a reasonable price and with potential to upgrade further down the line. Like I said there are a few cons to this model but considering the features and hardware it was definitely worth the investment.

This laptop may seem overpriced and over the top, but it is great and gets the job done.With it’s slim body it has a lot of power to run heavy duty games.Would recommend if you are planning to do long sessions of gaming.

This is by far the best laptop I have used. I was one click away from buying a 16" Macbook Pro and I am sooo glad I did not make that mistake. I have not stopped using this thing since the day I got it. Great laptop, would buy again and recommend anyone looking for an all in one machine!

What can I say, other than I love it! As I am an office dweller and a gamer, this sweet little machine handles it all! Whether I'm using CAD or playing COD, I'm a happy man with this bad boy in front of me. Thumbs up from this guy! Let's hope it stands up to the trials of time.

It is doing what it is supposed to. I could see the difference between the 240hz and the 60hz on my old laptop. I gotta be honest, it runs a bit hot. Fans are a bit loud but tolerable. All in all, its a solid laptop for the price. The only question is, how long will it hold up?

As a member of the U.S. Army, I really needed something compact enough to be able to travel with me where ever my job would take me, and this does the trick. Good CPU, good graphics card, basically good everything! 100% would recommend to anyone that wants a mobile gaming station.

I upgraded from a 8 year old Lenovo that was working well. I decided to try MSI due to the relatively low price for what they packed inside. I can say I am extremely happy with it over the last few weeks. If your on the fence, you should jump over and never look back! a Great buy

it gets the job done during some intense gaming sessions. the power cord is a little bit limiting in that the large "bank" portion of it needs is fairly close to the laptop itself, and the rest of the cord is left to drape awkwardly (where most laptops have the bank piece positioned to be on the ground with the bulk of the cord at the close end). no REAL complaints.

I Had several gaming laptops including the razer rtx2070 and I can safely say that this one is better than that one at a lower price so that for me is a win win, the performance is incredible as I expected and everything is good with it so far, very pleased with my purchase.

amazing laptop graphics are amazing destiny 2 get 250 FPS in orbit and 90 FPS in game play, the only gripe I have is it came with a free gift of nvidia now membership and I never recieved it, but that has nothing to do with the awesome laptop..

Truly an amazing laptop. So far it has handled anything I throw at it. Running games on the highest graphics? Easy. Multiple programs and streaming? Done. It also comes rich with features and modifications for the graphics card and LCD keyboard.
