High performance not consistent

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pc runs fantastic when it does but it has some cooling problems I had a issue with the right fan kicking out after about 4 months of use, so I sent it back to the manufacturer which they said it they completely took out and replaced the fan and cooling system just to have the same problem happen 3 months later

Expensive Paper Weight

Really fast and powerful laptop for gaming. But exactly one day after the return period expired, the laptop can no longer start up. I stay stuck on the loading screen and can not even enter safe mode to try and fix it. Best Buy will not help and now I am stuck with an expensive paper weight that can not turn on. I thought I was buying an upgrade instead I wish I still had my old dell because at least it worked.

Do not buy under any circumstances!

We spent $1800 and the computer keeps spontaneously shutting down. It cannot handle the gaming needs of an 11-year-old boy! We sent it back to MSI for repair – and when we got it back, within an hour it crashed again. And now, two days later it has developed new problems. MSI’s idea of a warranty is to have us keep sending the item back-and-forth back-and-forth. They won’t replace it or refund our money. And now it’s past the Best Buy 30 day return period. THIS IS A TOTAL LEMON!!! Listen to the other reviewers who talk about how hot it gets and how the fans are powerless to control it. Plus when it does happen to work, the fans are so loud you can’t hear anyone so you can’t play a game while talking to someone on FaceTime or whatever. I can’t believe I spent $1800 on this piece of crap. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews! I will never, ever, ever buy anything from MSI ever again.
