Worst laptop I've ever purchased. The battery drains while it's turned off. It's been doing this since the day that I bought it. Do not buy an MSI laptop.

It runs too hot that its started to damage what used to run really well. Works great for the first 5 months but after that, it wont function well for gaming anymore.

Everything works great, but I have constantly issues with Wifi driver, sometimes it stops and don't go back and have to restart, it does not happen with all networks

After just a year, it started overheating and shuts off within 15 minutes when playing a game. Support was useless. emailed message to update BIOS and perform system recovery. Seems extreme. No effort was made to try to figure out what the cause might be. Lesson learned: NEVER buy an MSI product.

This laptop was actually pretty great for almost everything. Had the laptop for not even a year, with average use of streaming videos, playing a couple of games and the motherboard fried. Sent laptop back to MSI for repairs, 5 months later same thing happened. Happened outside of warranty, conveniently, so I took it a local PC tech shop. The tech said the motherboard had sharpie marks all over it, so MSI did the bare minimum and got the motherboard powered back up when it originally fried, didn't fix what made it short to begin with. The tech even said this was bound to happen again. Now I can't salvage any components because everything is integrated, which would cost around $1,000 to replace the motherboard with all the same components. So that was a waste of almost $2,000 in just over one year. Terrible customer service. Again, great product when it worked. The quality of their components is very questionable. Terrible customer service that I wouldn't have known about had the local tech not looked into the machine. DO NOT BUY.

Good laptop great image I did not have it long enough to play with it because I changed my mind and got a desktop instead to stream.

Picked up this laptop Curbside from a Best Buy today. Opened the box and tried to power up, but nothing happened and no light or sound when plugged in. I thought it might need an hour or two to charge for the first time so I left it plugged in and came back to it later - still nothing. Must be a defective unit but I'm not having trouble getting in touch with anyone from a support team. Hopefully it's just this unit, I was looking forward to this laptop based on other reviews...

Never will buy another MSI laptop 3 months out of warranty and the laptop continually shuts down due to overheating. Definitely lost my business, and will be sticking with other brands.

Spikes a lot and the the screen takes forever to turn on sometimes and sometimes never turns on.

I never write reviews, but I have had it with bestbuy. I just bought this laptop today and after about 20-30 blue screens of death I decided to contact their customer service to be met with an agent that told me to go take it to a store, bestbuy is doing curbside only so thanks, and left the chat instantly. Extremely unprofessional and after wasting half a day on trying to fix this junk, I do not appreciate being disrespected as a customer who spent $1800 on a laptop that should work perfectly fine for the price tag. I also bought a gaming mouse with it, $60, and it came in a laughable box that was clearly already opened, ripped, and the plastic on the inside was covered in fingerprints. You guys call that new? I do not think so. P.S. This is the third bad experience with purchasing expensive laptops here and all of them had to be returned.

I must admit that the laptop has amazing performance. However, the battery stopped working properly within a year. I cannot find an Asus service center near me, and have no idea what to do now. Thanks for nothing, BestBuy!

terrible service because: the first time when buying this laptop they got the wrong address and they told me they would send it to me again, it didn't happened and then they sent me an email saying that they were going to return the money to me, after waiting for the money return time I bought the laptop again and it turns out that it turns off every time I play a game, I updated the drivers but there is no case. I speak to MSI and the only solution they give me is to return the laptop, I have been waiting for more than an hour for best bay to answer the phone call to give a solution to my problem. It's been a month since I buyed it for the first time and I haven been able to receive a proper product since then, even though it's a highly valued product and company.

This is my first gaming laptop, so while I'm not an expert, I can safely say that I love this machine. Pros: - beautiful design, looks sleek and sharp - keyboard feels wonderful and is great to type on, colors are amazing - runs pretty much any game that I throw at it (granted I'm not doing anything too demanding) - no issues with it so far - packaging was superb Cons: - fingerprint magnet. fingerprints end up EVERYWHERE - I wish the headphone jack was on the other side of the machine, as my cord hangs out in the way of my mouse - speakers aren't the greatest, but don't sound horrible either

This laptop is amazing. I love the sleek design and size. very portable. Opens nicely, has a nice keyboard and track pad and a smooth finish. Crazy fast processor and screen refresh rate for the money. I also love the fan design, they are pretty quiet when running normally but as the laptop starts to work harder and warm up the fans will automatically kick on higher. Also, if you are like me and like to set your computer in your lap while working on it and you start to feel it get too hot you can turn the fans on. The only thing that would make this laptop better is if it had a touch screen.

This laptop was amazing for the first couple weeks I owned it. However, when the memory management BSODs & weird screen glitch crashes with no BSOD started happening is when it went down hill. What finally made me get it checked was the debug/analysis of the last BSOD simply stating the "hardware_ram" was the problem. Since I was out of the return date I had to hand it over to Geek Squad to "fix." I haven't gotten it back yet, but I'm hoping they'll just declare it defective since who knows what other components have be damaged due to the RAM malfunction.

This laptop is complete garbage. Left it on to update overnight and the next morning came back to a blank, unresponsive screen. No physical damage. Had it on a cooling pad. Screen slightly flickers but am unable to even access BIOS. Tried reaching out to MSI and got no response. Was told it seemed to be a hardware issue. Already purchased another laptop from a different manufacturer. Will not be buying MSI again.

This laptop is great but not the best. I get an average of 3 hours of battery life out of the box. If I under volt and change the display refresh rate to 60 hrz I get 5. I was expecting 8-9 hours of battery life when I tweak some settings but I didn’t get that. I originally was going to go for the Asus ROG G14 but the keyboard backlighting killed it for me. This laptop has per key RGB like gating by steel series which is a very good perk. The keyboard is nice and clicky with good amount of travel which makes me enjoying to type. This laptop is a little heavy but for the power you get it is worth it. I went with this laptop over the Asus is because of the graphical processing power over the Asus. Yeah the Asus’ Ryzen 9 has more processing power over the Intel i7 but this can squeeze about 5-10 more FPS than the Asus. The speakers on this laptop isn’t great so I’d recommend getting some headphones. Another setback are the fans. The fans on this laptop are always on which is constantly draining battery and are noticeable in a quiet room. The fans cool this laptop great with the cooler boost trinity but they come with a setback. They are loud and noisy but to me it is a price that I would pay for lower temps. With my undervolt settings I get a constant 55 degrees in most games. And around 120 fps on fortnite. The build quilts on this laptop is great. It has a matte metal finish which makes it feel premium and along with the black keyboard. Overall the build quality is nice but there is a plastic strip on the edge. Some people don’t like it but it doesn’t really bother me. Over al this is a decent laptop but below average battery life. If this 1080 Max-Q graphics card was pared up with the Ryzen 9 we would probably see 10 hours or more battery life on this, but for now this is all we have.

Very disappointed. I had this laptop less than a year and it wouldn’t turn on. Luckily it was still under warranty. Secondly, The product didn’t even come with the correct charger from what the geek squad said and assumed I bought another charger for it which I did not. Now, I have to wait 5wks for them to try and fix it which put be in a bad predicament being that I started classes without a laptop.

The w on the keyboard broke two weeks after purchase. I had to send it out to MSI for $96.00 to fix. Uncle Bo at the Geek squad was nice to inform me on where to ship and fix the item. However, it would have been nice if it didn’t break so easily. I did not like the customer service at the cashier counter. This person was rude, mean, and cruel.
