For me, it has been 11 years since I purchased a new labtop; however, After making this purchase, I couldn't be anymore happier. It was a major upgrade for sure! Being an engineering student, I knew I needed something powerful that will run my software. While also on the side, I wanted something that can also run video games as well. This runs both greatly. My only concern I notice while monitoring its workability one day was that it heats up quickly; however, there are ways to work around that! I originally looked into the G65 Stealth, but during my time at best buy, an associate convinced me into buying this product. And it was a great purchase following with great customer service as well! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.

Got this laptop to replace my older Asus FX504 and to start off the build quality alone is miles ahead. The Asus was made almost entirely of plastic and I had multiple problems with it just tearing itself apart. This laptop, being made of metal, has so far proven to both look and feel much sturdier. The only downside is there is no numberpad, but considering how small this thing is I can see why. There's a bunch of pre-installed software that, while neat, is a bit confusing to navigate sometimes but that's not a big deal. The screen is nice but I have no idea what game is gonna run at 240hz. Overall, so far so good.

Great computer for those who is looking for a powerful device on the go. I do not know how I feel about the plastic rail guard on the front edge of the case below the track pad. I get that they want the wrist to not lean against the metal, but personally I wish it was full aluminum all the way around. Trackpad is alittle too wide for my taste but I rather have to it to large than too small. Because it is alumieum, it is a finger print nightmare, clean the surface often. The huge battery life gives it an edge over its competitors. Quite happy with my purchase, althought it took forever for the device to ship.

Really fast, perfect for playing games with high settings at 1080p.

I have to say I love this laptop. It’s amazing how powerful it is for being so thin. Running any game on ultra graphics settings is great. 240 GHz makes looking into the screen really immersive. This thing is the Cadillac of gaming laptops. Bit of a learning curve with the keyboard lighting but once you get the hang of it you can really customize your setup. Well priced for everything you get in the setup. Very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend!

The laptop looks soo good, way better than it looked in youtube reviews. The chassis is really sturdy and really well built. Facial recognition is always welcome, and the keyboard feels nice to the touch, and the performance is amazing, I'm getting over 150 fps in basically all games. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I spent a lot of time researching a few brands and did a lot of comparing. I was not planning on purchasing a gaming laptop, but looking at the specs compared to others within the same price range, I feel I made the right choice going with MSI. It runs very smooth, there is not lagging, love the keyboard and the customizing features. It is not feels bulky, the design is nice and slim .

I love this laptop! It had almost everything I wanted in with the latest ports and power I needed since I travel a lot and wanted this for work and play. Also as a long time MacBook Pro user who's been dreading getting a PC, MSI made it an easy transition! The only cons so far is it's not at all fingerprint resistant and the fan could be quite, but it's never gotten hot so that's a draw.

Great laptop, really love the updated and upgraded build for the stealth design. The laptop feels solid. The screen is beautiful with the 240 hz refresh rate. If I was going to nitpik about anything it would be the fan noise when gaming, but that's pretty much the norm with any laptop, especially the new slim designs. Overall, really glad I purchased this laptop.

if you think about getting this laptop for casual playing. It can run anything with eeze and laptops screen being 240hz is amazingly beautiful on how smooth it goes and because your main visual to look at when playing games because its soo smoooooth. if you plan to buy this, do it now cause its the best thats out there right now!

Great computer but not sure how to change the lighting of the keyboard. Did It once and that’s It.

This laptop has great battery life, which is great for bringing to all my classes. The camera placement is also really good for when I have to zoom with my professors and other students. I love that you get to choose the colors of each individual key on the keyboard when it lights up.

I have no complains with this laptop. The quality is impressive and its specs are really good. I bougth the computer to develop Machine Learning applications and so far its performance have been better than my previous Macbook laptop. The screen is on point. No regrets.

Absolutely amazing screen for the price point and a solid GPU along with a excellent SSD 1 terabyte storage being the cherry on top. Really hard to find the specs at the price point. After several weeks with this laptop I am quite happy with the purchase.

Great laptop. Has served me well these past couple of years

MSi's GS 66 Stealth is everything I could ever hope for in a laptop. The specific model I purchased checked all the necessary requirements I needed and even went beyond. When first looking for a laptop, I wanted something that would last a minimum of four years in college. Furthermore as an incoming engineering major, the laptop I needed must have a strong GPU and CPU combination. The GS 66 Stealth met all of these requirements. The Intel core i7 and GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q combo will be more then enough to run CAD programs such as SolidWorks and AutoDesk. Furthermore the build quality of this laptop is pristine. There is no noticable flex anywhere in the laptop, and the lightweight design will allow me to realistically use it while on the move. The 99.9 Kwh battery is on average giving me 6-7 hours with varying lifespans depending on what apps are running. A main reason why I purchased this specific model was the addition of a 1TB SSD storage. All of these mentioned features will provide a long lifespan for this laptop while being able to compete with future laptops years in the future. Two features of the laptop stand out the most to me: the MSi DragonCenter and the keyboard. The DragonCenter is really helpful and allows me to configure certain settings to my preference. The User Scenario's gives me different performance-related that are optimal for certain situations (such as using "silent mode" for in-class lectures and "extreme performance" for gaming). The Steelseries keyboard is perfect for a laptop of this caliber. Typing feels natural and comfortable without the typing itself being too loud if in a public environment. The RGB keyboard is also great as it can be customized to to display different arrays of light that helps sell this laptop as a gaming laptop. Personally, I really like the RGB aesthetic on keyboards but not a big fan of lights surrounding the laptop itself. The GS 66 Stealth balances the "stealth" and RGB aesthetic perfectly so this laptop can be truly used in public without announcing to the world you have a gaming laptop.

The GS66 Stealth is very small, light and powerful. Unfortunately that combination proved to be slightly problematic. My cpu would overheat and throttle constantly. While I was playing Fortnite on decent graphic settings the cpu would hit 95 degrees Celsius almost instantly. I found out that by default the cpu automatically runs almost twice as fast as its base speed. I found out that if you turn your cpu power usage to 99% in your windows power plan settings the processor would only run at 95% of its base speed. While running at 95% cpu temps were no longer an issue but I would notice some fps drop. I later found (contrary to what everyone says) that the cpu can be undervolted. I undervolted the cpu by 0.1 V (using Intel XTU) and set the processor to 100% power usage. The fps was significantly better, but the computer still runs hot. I would often find it running at 86 degrees Celsius while playing Fortnite, on a cheap cooling pad. Besides the overheating issue the computer is very nice. The screen looks great, and the actuation force of the keyboard switches is very low, and the computer look sleek.

This is a great laptop for Engineering students. It has more than enough power to be able to run CAD and other simulation type softwares while easliy destroying framerates in all the video games Im currently playing. One of the buying points for me aside from the price to performance was the styling of the laptop. I wanted a laptop that I could take in public without having a massive red logo or glowing RGB elements to label me as a gamer. Its all black metal design is very sleek looking and very strudy. My only real complaint is that this collects fingerprints so well that is may aswell being pulling them off of nearby surfaces. Overall the laptop is incredible and I would recommend it, especially for the price.

This is a great laptop. My first gaming laptop and I have never experienced something so fast. The backlit keyboard is great too. One of the first things I played with.

The actual screen is stunning and the battery life isn’t bad like a lot of other laptops!! The specs are great for something so slim as well. Can’t wait to use this for upcoming games this year!
