To be honest i had high hopes for this psu since it was from MSI and it lasted for a while but when i switched to a 5070 with the 12v high power connector within 2 months it started acting funny and i ended up having to switch it for a thermatake psu.

So worth it would recommend anyone to get this!!!!

Garbage powersupply Fan failed in under two months

Would not recommend MSI PSUs and I purchased this 1 Year ago and the fan bearing has already failed causing an extremely loud rattle.

Price is amazing Gold rating 850w is plenty of power

Fan died on me in one month and their RMA process is impossible.

Power supply fan bearings went bad after 60 days. Makes a grinding noise whenever it runs. MSI support makes it difficult to try and get support since this power supply does not have a sticker with the ID that MSI's website requires to file a support claim. I need to upgrade wattage anyway so I'll probably just throw this one away. Do not buy this power supply.

Bought this PSU 3 weeks ago and the fan started having issues out of nowhere. Looked it up online and this PSU model has had issues for multiple people in the past, even after RMA and replacing. Avoid purchasing.

My item was defective and fried my motherboard. I do not recommend this product.

I had to replace it after 3 months as it stopped supplying consistent power to keep my PC on. 0/10 would not buy again.

not good for gpu that have 3 plug in cpu takes 2 plg in but there only 4 plug total

I bought this for a new gaming PC built around a Ryzen 9 9950X and RTX 4080 Super. This power supply has been more than sufficient. It was easy to install, had enough connectors, and is cool and quiet.

Your typical MSI premium experience, i wouldnt expect anything less fron them. They aleays deliver a solid product, super easy to install into my pc and the cable management is top tier. For someone just starting out or that professional builder, rest assured this is definitely the product for you
