Let's start with the good: It's got good features and an easy-to-use BIOS. Now for the bad: out of the box, it is not optimized for AM5 or DDR5 over 4800, and you're likely to have an awful experience until you update the BIOS and configure some things. I recommend having the latest stable BIOS (do not use a beta version) on a USB and flashing it when setting up your system. Once you flash the BIOS, you should be on your way to a good experience. You then need to enable XMP to get your DDR5 to run past 4800. Note: this will take some time (5-15 minutes), and your system will reset while getting the memory trained. Fortunately, you only need to do this once - assuming that you flashed a stable BIOS. Otherwise, you may end up getting frequent crashes and needing to hard reset the CMOS by removing the battery - the CMOS reset button does not work. The primary PCIE slot has a stubborn lock. Once I slotted my GPU (XFX 7900 XTX), it was a real pain to get it out to access the battery - which is inconveniently placed in such a place that if you have a large GPU, you'll have to take out the GPU to access the battery. Because of how many times I had to do this, I just ended up breaking the lock on the PCIE tab so that I could easily remove the GPU. If you're running PMW fans, you'll need to optimize their settings in the fan section of the BIOS. It's an easy process though.

Make sure you dont leave out the wifi antennas. I got this for my new build so far its holding up well

Being the first time ive built a PC, this MOBO bios were easy to navigate and setup.

Works great when bios is updated. Make sure to have a wired connection in case if WiFi issues.

I really enjoyed the build on this pc and having a good platform like this MOBO just made it that niche better. Instructions were clear for people that are new to building and everything was labeled clearly. The debug lights worked perfectly and helped me diagnose my no boot issue. I would highly recommend this to anyone building a pc that's is looking for something rock solid for a mobo and on a budget.

Used this to replace a garbage gigabyte auros elite ax board and so happy that i did because this board updates bios perfectly and msi customer service takes a huge dump on gigabytes. Do not listen to the few bad reviews i gaurantee these people have no clue how to build a pc !!! this motherboard is amazing for the am5 platform

It is an okay board. The bios is a bit of a mess in terms of performance settings but once you get it running good it is okay.

This MSI Motherboard saved my build. I had issues with an ASUS board not posting and swapped it for this motherboard which posted with no problems. The BIOS does seem outdated but the only reason I minus one star is this motherboard did not come with standoffs or screws.

Worked out of the box, no issues with new ryzen cpu and DDR5 memory

This is just the x570 tomahawk wifi but for am5 with ddr5. Not a bad board for the price.

Built my first computer and purchased this motherboard. Don't have any other ones to compare it to yet. It's fairly easy to install but there are some challenges if you have large hands
