I purchased this motherboard based on ratings on PC Part Picker and BestBuy for my first ever PC build and I would like nothing more than to throw it into the sun. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the motherboard was the issue until I was outside of my return period. It throws a fit constantly over the RAM even though the RAM is on the QVL list and is seated properly. Even with the RAM set to stock settings, the computer doesn't want to reboot or has memory training issues. I wanted this PC to last me 5-7 years but I doubt I am going to make it that long with this motherboard. If you're going to buy it, make sure you check that the RAM you are buying is perfectly 100% compatible (down to the SKU) with the motherboard. Even then, it's a 50/50 shot if the thing will work.

I'm sure it probably is a good motherboard but the one I got was defective. I don't know enough about computer parts to know for certain why it wasn't working but it looked like bent pins in the cpu socket

The board is very basic but gets the job done. At this price point i would have liked to see a few more features but AM5 boards are pricey.

It's basic. Not much to it. If you want to upgrade and ONLY do gaming then this is perfectly fine.

Out of no where my pc won’t connect to internet woke up one day and nothing I don’t understand can’t fact reset because I can’t connect to internet

Chose this board to start with for a new build. Board completely failed on me and machine would not post once assembled. Swapped it out for another brand and have had no issues for over a month. Steer clear of this board completely.

Trying to run the 7800x3d. 1st board only had a video sigal forba minute the fryed then the 2nd worked for an hr but blackscreen with 2 ram sticks. After hour of testing. Lockups and bluescreens it completely quit video signal output

Out of the box, could not work with RAM or processor without BIOS upgrade. Not even minimal support, on-board LEDs showed that it couldn't even detect them. This is miserably bad.

Can’t get past post. Apparently there’s an issue with “memory training” when using ram that is too big or too fast and it’s advise to start with something small. Seems like a horrible flaw. Got this motherboard late and now I’m outside the return window

Motherboard was defective, essentially trying to troubleshoot a CPU and RAM issue but apparently it wasn't anything of the sort it was the motherboard itself I tried just about everything known to man to get this thing to boot MSI, flashed BIOS didn't work, boot up with minimal specs nope didn't work, basically this whole board is a piece of crap and thus I will be buying a much better known brand that is apparently much better

Asus and Gigabyte offer better boot times as well as stability in my personal experience.

Returned, constant issues with my video card not being recognized. There are multiple reddit threads documenting this issue. Do not buy...,

badd do not buy ts motherboard it sucks so bad it makes no sense no good audio not high end

Brought back, MSI dragon center is the worth bios integration software ever engineered. If you're going for a MOBO in this tier just go for a Asus or literally ANY other brand. MSI never cares about making thing work.

I had to rma this product twice. The first time was because of a damaged jbus port. The second time was for a faulty lightning pcie lane. Would not recomend this to anyone

This motherboard is not good. After just four months died on me… Never buying MSI again…

Bought and it stopped working shortly after the 14 day return date. Very annoyed to say the least.
