Here and there started not power usbs then one day it completely stopped... boots up fans running and all but powers nothing else. Turns out it was shorted out multiple times on the back side of the board.

I only give it 4 stars because I know it might happen AND I trust MSI because I have been using them for years but I gotta say the quality could be better than that.

This motherboard was purchased for a build for my Nieces 16th Birthday. The first Motherboard I purchased was damaged in warehouse, then placed in a box and shipped to me. The package the motherboard was in was completely torn up and had damage to the intergrated hdmi port on the mobo. The second motherboard that replaced it, as I found out 2 months later when I finally purchased the other components to complete the build, was also garbage. Fails to POST fails to turn on. After spending a full day troubleshooting my issues piece by piece I had narrowed it down to the motherboard. I spoke to Best Buy's online chat department and explained my story and was told that I would have to RMA the board through MSI because it had been past the 30 day window. This product was purchased on 2/28/2020 and missed Corporate Best Buy's Covid-19 return policy extension by approximately 2 days. The reason I was not able to complete the build before the 30 day window to find out if the Motherboard worked or didn't work was due to Covid-19. Would love to leave a review about receiving great customer service, or how well the board worked but I will be purchasing my computer parts elsewhere from now on.

This motherboard has the most issues i have seen in PC building. I was building a new PC and needed a motherboard that supported the LGA 1511 V2 socket with the z390 chipset. This seemed like a perfect budget board that met those specifications. Unfortunately, Ever sense i put this PC build together it has the worst hard crashes i have ever seen. You are lucky if it makes it to the lock screen of windows after a fresh install. Instant crash. Like someone cuts the PSU. It reboots and crashes again. I spend hours and hours diagnosing the issue. All new parts and this issue occurs. I have to get a test bench and test all components to ensure each component was working good in a stable build. Testing known good components on this Board to see if it resolved any issues. I eventually found that the board itself was faulty. After a good two weeks of messing with this thing. I work 7 to 7 monday thru saturday so i really don't have much time to mess with it. Unfortunately i was excited when i purchased the product and destroyed the packaging. So i don't believe i can really get a refund for that. So i will enjoy my paper weight.

The website does not clearly state which gen cpus works. Good entry motherboard for 8th and 9th gen cpus.

The CPU connections were not working had to return it. I did order another one we will see how that one works.

I couldn't get this MB to work with my system. Bios was not easy to work with. Returned for asus MB.

I’m sure this is a great motherboard but my was defective out of the box.

Unfortunately, this motherboard didn’t work to fix my son’s desktop.

It's a ok mb does not support more than 2 data cable and one nvme

While building my brothers new gaming rig for Christmas, I thought this would be the perfect MB for the build. Everything was going good until I installed windows where I couldn't get the computer to fully boot without it crashing and making the system fail and automatically restart. Made multiple visits to the geek squad where they told me its a failing hard drive so I purchased a new SSD. That didn't work so I spent a week trying to fix what was happening myself. I couldn't figure it out either, after making another appointment at the geek squad they did a diagnostic on my system... nothing came up. I was clueless until I looked at the other one star reviews where people were mentioning the same problem. I returned my mother board for an Asus and it works fine

Was doa out of the box. Wasn't able to use it unfortunately

Board worked great for about a week, than went bad on me. Wasn't showing CPU temps correctly and started having issues with shutting down etc. Tried bios flash etc called MSI no help. Glad Bestbuy has an exceptional return policy
