don't think this is nearly a 1/4 mile range.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.doesn't seem to work through walls very well. in a parking garage a short distance from my office, if is press the button on the key fob next to a window toward the garage, it will not work and the garage is virtually across the street. once i am in line of sight about 100 yards away, it will work. somewhat disappointed. spend the extra money and buy one with a longer range.
