I went in with low expectations and the fun factor was there for sure if you loved the original mfl for Genesis. So glad I purchased!

    An Absolute Mess

This game has no sense of direction. It just throws a bunch of crap at the screen in hopes that you'll find it entertaining. In real life (and other accurate football games), teams wear uniforms to help you determine who belongs on which side. In this game, there are uniforms, but because the game throws so many colors and fireworks and explosions and whatnot at you, it can be difficult to discern who is who and where. Also, each team is given a random assortment of robots and skeletons and whatnot, which also doesn't help when trying to discern. In games like NFL Blitz (except for the most recent one), late hits are a part of the game, and they're fun to do/watch. In this game, you can late hit, but you can also kill one of the opponents, and you get penalized for doing so. Not only that, but the opponent that died gets replaced on the very next play! The same goes for your team. If a player dies, they just get replaced like it's nothing! The sense of consequence is so skewed. Also, while you get the smooth voice and wit of Tim Kitzrow behind the desk, you also get this horrible, Gonzo-esque monster voice making "jokes" that will make you cringe for days. This whole game is utter nonsense. I returned it almost immediately.
