Controls aren’t as I expected. Don’t work as well as easy as we thought

It’s unfortunate that the console only includes one controller. I got this one as an extra and it’s shaped differently than the original. It curves inward on the backside and it starts to hurt your fingers after only playing for a minute or two. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Wireless is best but wish the range was a bit bigger.

Bought this because I could never find the control for the NES Classic Edition that was sold separately. Barely worked, consistently disconnected. Rather buy a wired one with a super long cable to avoid the issues of disconnection.

Techincally this is wireless. It’s also very poor wireless. The range on this unit sucks. Also, if you break contact between the sender/ receiver units, then you have to re-link. Try doing that during a game! Very frustrating. Very disappointing. So, if your 40lb Husky happens to walk between you and the game console, then it’s literally game over. Fortunately I had bought the extended wired cables and I plugged the wireless sender into the cable in an effort to extend the range, even then it’s a true gripe to use. Stick with the wires, you’re better off.

When I plugged this controller into my NES it actually crashed it. It shut down right after it turned on. Then I couldn't get it to turn back on. I had to resent it 3 times before it worked again. When I tried again by plugging it in after it was on, I worked for one game, then when I tried to play another game it crashed my NES again. I tried multiple different things and nothin worked. I was afraid it actually broke my system. I had to return it.

Trying to get these to pair easily is near impossible. Takes forever despite following the instructions. We seem to have better luck just randomly pushing buttons.

after using it for awhile. the keys are not sensitive as it used to be. Hard to play games especially if you're in the middle of fighting and jumping!!!

I spent and hour trying to get this controller to pair with my NES classic. I returned it after no success.

The range on these are not very good and they lose their connectivity. Get the extension cord.

Purchased two of these controllers and both keep loosing sync with box. Not happy with them. Great when they work though

only choice for a wireless controller... it already isn't working even with changing the batteries

This item is badass i was really excited to try it but it no compadible with the origial nes

Annoying when playing and the controller does not respond.

Half the time, it doesn’t work and the receiver blinks.

This wireless remote is very handi, it did work in very good for two weeks until the Bluetooth connection staring messing up in the middle of the game making players to die or loose a game, I’m about to return it to the store

Very disappointed after reading so many good reviews about this item. The controller has too much of a delay when playing games so all the actions that need to be timed end up making gameplay very frustrating.

I ordered this online when I ordered my NES. This has not worked from day one. Best Buy won't take it back because I don't have the receipt. Huge waste!
