Best Buy did a good job highlighting the benefits of the My Best Buy Plus membership when I was in the store a few years back. I’m not typically one to join a membership with an annual fee, however the value provided is actually there and not overstated. I tend to use Best Buy for Christmas, birthdays, and my wife’s home office. Combined, I’ve been able to use a number of different deals for each occasion and have saved a good bit since I started the membership a few years back. The exclusive member deals are actually pretty good (with a good variety) and make it feel like you get a premium discount compared to non members. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and wasn’t hesitant to renew after the first year. I’d recommend for anyone who uses Best Buy 3+ times per year.

Things are not made like they used to be so I really like my protection plan. If the items I buy do not hold up, Best Buy will fix it for me. They automatically add my warranties when I make a purchase so that I don't have to locate them and they answer any questions I have. I even earn discounts on future purchases when I buy the items I want.

First off, Julio and his partner (embarrassed I can’t remember his name) came out to my home to install my new LG 77” TV and could not get it to work. They tried everything and finally it was felt that either my 10 years old AVR was not compatible or there was a flaw in the new TV. Julio ordered a new, replacement TV and within 7 days they were back with a new unit. In the meantime, I realized that my AVR was 10 years old. My membership saved me $150 on a new Denon AVR and I saved $150 on my TV wall mounted installation. When Julio hooked my new AVR to the TV they had previously installed, everything worked perfectly. Thanks to Best Buy and their incredible team!

Since we opened the account, the company has been a good partner in our purchases. The customer service has always been supreme, and we've been completely satisfied with every purchase we've made, except for one television that lasted 12 years and then stopped working. The value in his membership to me seemed to be price protection at the time I bought it. No one told me how to use the price protection I assumed it was an automatic notification. When I sqw the lower price it was not honored because it was not “ timely”. So ultimately I canceled it because that was really the only reason I got it to begin with

This membership really helps if you need to use the Geek Squad. I always double check now though if they tell me my membership has expired. In the pass they have told me that and come to find out we were still active. We lost a printer that way.
