Saved me lots of money!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the reasons that I was interested in the membership was that my new computer was not on sale at the time I needed to buy it. With the membership, I was able to wait for it to go on sale and then go back to the store with my computer to take advantage of those savings. It worked just as easily as they said it would. I came back into the store in about 10 minutes later walked out with a credit of over $300. I look forward to taking full advantage of the membership and all the benefits it has.

Not really able to use Best Buy Plus features.

I was trying to purchase a Video card recently and each time I was lucky enough to get one in my Card they would charge my Credit Card, then 5 minutes later Cancel the order. This happened like 5 times. I called customer service and was told that was nothing I could do but to keep trying. Telling me to use a different Card or some other means. I believe they were treating me like some Auto Buy Bot for those GPU's even though I was a real person with a Plus membership and calling them on the phone. Needless to say, I had to purchase the GPU from Amazon instead. Also tried to purchase A TV and same problem, Warranty was $500 to extend but Samsung provided a free extended 4-year warranty, so again did not purchase from Best Buy. So this year, I have not used my Plus membership due to not being able to purchase anything without the orders being canceled. I may let it lapse this year, and if I need another high-dollar Item, repurchase.

Whether it is providing good advice on which printer to buy, or helping me replace a cell phone, they always go beyond just being helpful. The understand that some of these tech devices are intimidating to average Joe's like me and provide extra guidance to make the process easier.

The perfect membership that saves you money

It has more than paid for itself with the amount of money it has saved me just from having it. Got it for free when I bought a MacBook Air but I will definitely be keeping this membership and renewing it when the time comes

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently went to your stores in Augusta, Maine and Portland , Maine in an attempt to purchase a new Subwoofer. I was initially told in Augusta that Best Buy had none fore sale. When I commented that the store website had stated that they did have units for sale the salesperson immediately Stated, after consulting her phone, that yes indeed they did have some available. I then asked her if I would be able to hear them, she said yes. When I arrived at the area in the store where they were located only two of the displays were working. Another salesperson told me that I wouldn't be able to have them demonstrated, but I could still buy one. He was corrected by another worker who said all he needed to do was to alert their IT person to come over to help. That worker came to fix the display, but I was told it would take 15 minutes to reboot. I came back and that display was now working, but I went to another one and it was not. Since I had now spent over an hour of my time, I left without purchasing anything. A few days late I went to the Portland store thinking I would be able to find working displays. They too could not demonstrate all of their models due to displays which were not working. Again I was told I could still buy one of their subwoofers. At both locations, salesmen had to search their phones for simple questions I asked regarding the equipment in the area of the store in which they worked and were supposed to have expertise. I can search the web also for information. What someone needs is the ability to converse with another person with knowledge of the equipment to render opinions and reasons why a purchase of specific units should be considered. I am astonished that in both experiences, salesmen thought that I would make a purchase of an expensive piece of audio equipment without being able to listen to them. I subsequently made my purchase at another retailer. All this being said, I wonder of the advantage of owning a membership at your chain and unfortunately, cannot clearly see one.

Worth It!!!

The best thing about it is getting access to really good deals. Like, we needed a new fridge, and I was able to find a really good deal on a samsung fridge. I am a frequent buyer at best buy, so if you are one too, this might be worth it. I think that the price fo the membership makes up for itself with the savings on items you purchase. If you are not a frequent buyer, this may not be for you.

There are three tiers to choose from: My Best Buy, My Best Buy Plus, and My Best Buy Total. My Best Buy is free and offers basic benefits like free standard shipping with no minimum purchase and the ability to track past purchases. It’s a good starting point if you shop at Best Buy occasionally. My Best Buy Plus costs $49.99 per year and adds perks like free two-day shipping and access to exclusive deals and sales. One of the standout features is the extended return window of 60 days for most products, which is a significant upgrade from the standard 15 days1. In summary, if you shop at Best Buy regularly and value extended return windows, exclusive deals, and tech support, the Plus or Total memberships could be worth the investment. For occasional shoppers, the free My Best Buy membership still offers useful perks without any cost.

New to the Membership

I purchased aftershokz with the memberships deal of the day and I saved but, the earphones were the simple ones vs the enhanced ones. I'm hoping the deals aren't steered to sell items otherwise wouldn't as quick if they weren't part of the perks of a membership. Similar to black Friday deals including not-so-great brands.

Combine it with their door-buster deals and you’ll even get more discounts! Always ask if there is an on-going promotion and their associates will even stack it either to your yearly membership or purchase.

Not worth it

But the rewards still sucks. I spent a lot of money and had $25 in rewards, but it's only good for a month. Rewards should be good for six months to a year. If we earn it, give us time to use it. Disappointed. No major benefits to this membership.
