Total Waste of money - all of BB warranties are

The “consultant” said this and my 3 year Geek squad warranty would cover my Floor model Samsung Laundry center exactly like a new model, and when we got it installed and the dryer was making an odd scraping noise when we turned it on the first time- the customer service refused to honor that claim and said it’s not eligible for replacement but could have a repair technician come out. He came out a week later, and told me he could shove a 2x4 into the back of the unit and push the outer case back out, which was rubbing on the drum- he said there was no way to know this in the store by looking at it. He said it would likely pop back out at some point even if he did that and I may want to request a replacement which is covered under my plan and warranty. I called customer service back, and they said because it was a floor model they couldn’t honor that and I had to speak with the Store Manager. Who by the way, you can’t call ahead of time because there are no direct lines into the store, it routes you to the 1-800. They told me I had to go into the store WITH THE ENTIRE LAUNDRY CENTER if we wanted to even discuss a replacement. Mind you, I had to hire delivery to get it home! All this, and the price difference (with the 3 year BB warranty we bought) between the new unit and the floor model was 150$. I will not be purchasing any further appliances from BB, and I would suggest no one buy any floor models unless you’re comfortable risking throwing the money away if it doesn’t function when you get it home. Definitely never buy the warranty, this is the second time I’ve had issues getting them to honor it on faulty appliances.

If the savings look good, get it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are already planning to buy something on discount with a membership, then I would say its a great way to get a membership since the discount on the item cancels out the cost of the membership, if not save you even more money. If you shop at bestbuy on the regular or shop for items normally sold at bestbuy on the regular else where, I would revaluate how much you could save by switching to using bestbuy with the membership. If there is no savings in it for you then natrually I would avoid

The best option for electronics !

They have the highest product quality, good prices and attention. Also the loyalty programe is important. Best buy is a place to find solution and is very honest with clients. This last is something rare lately. Even though for Apple products they are better than Apple according to me.

Bye Bye Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible experience. Sent 2 different installers on the same day to install 2 TV’s recently purchased. Makes no sense. Wasted an entire day of work because 1st installer came first thing in the morning and second installer came at the very end of the day. Was also told at the time of purchase that I’d get $200 off if I signed up for credit card. That wasn’t true. I was not told that I had to go in and claim the $200 off within 20 days of purchase, which I later learned when I called in after receiving my Best Buy credit card statement. I have since canceled my credit card, and I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again. I will spend my $ on electronics and appliances elsewhere. Your company is a joke.

Kind of a useless membership

I was hoping it would be more useful for me than it was. I wanted to buy a kitchen aid and I found it on Amazon for a cheaper price than the website. However, when I went to price match in the store I was told that, as a plus member, I would be getting it at the same price as Amazon. If Best Buy price matched already, why do I need to pay for a membership that’ll give me the same price as if I would’ve just price matched it? It doesn’t really seem like it’s benefiting me in any way. But, again, maybe I just need to see if there’s better deals on other things that it could be useful for.

No High end audio

I wanted to buy a ROTEL preamp but to my surprise you no longer carry that brand or Mcinstosh tube amps.
