However, the membership fee may not be worthwhile for everyone, especially if you don't frequently purchase tech products or need tech support. Consider your tech needs and usage before deciding if the membership is right for you.

I had a GREAT experience at the Lake Worth, Tx. location and bought a few items before I joined. I went back and joined 2 days later and purchased a new laptop, wireless Keyboard and mouse combo along with a few other items and was just as pleased with the service and attention I received and saved a ton of money and learned a lot. Thank you to all the team members that took the time to check in with me during my visit, others stores I visited did not even acknowledge my presence.

I decided to finally "upgrade" my Best Buy account to the My Best Buy Plus for $49.99 per year. I didn't want the Total membership because I don't care for the automatic warranty it provides since I've already spent a good amount of money purchasing Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plans and I would lose these as a result. Overall, the "discounts" provided by the My Best Buy Plus membership are good for the most part. I recommend giving this a try.

A team member helped me purchase my Best Buy membership using a discount I received on a major purchase. I had no idea I would use it as much as I have! It is easy to use/keep track of points and rewards. I truly feel like I’m getting the better end of the deal with this one! Highly recommend!
