Being a plus member is a scam, I purchased a laptop and the sale said I would get $25 in bonus points because the laptop was $1000. Well the sale went thru and no points so I did the chat thing and the agent said I didn't qualify for the bonus points. So don't fall for all the hype Best Buy advertises, you are not getting the bonus points by being a Plus member. So no I Do Not recommend purchasing the Plus plan.

I find it very handy…. It creates a convenient way to get things even it isn’t present in the store … I also like the frequent discounts and notices for things I might be interested in.

The membership started out as a great value, especially buy 2, get 1 free on Switch games that was promoted as an "every day" deal. That deal has subsequently been discontinued with no notice. It may be due to Christmas deals upcoming, but it was a disappointment. Money saved on other products has been rather spotty. Sometimes the "member price" is only a few dollars less, so I haven't been able to get a significant savings from this subscription on these items; the items that do have big savings I am not in the market for currently. While I did get my money back and then some with the Switch game deal, the return of the Switch game deal (or something similar) will determine if I renew next year.

Yes I really enjoy this member ship and would recommend it to people who buy a lot from Best Buy. I love this membership because I get befits like prices off items and could be one of the first people to get new drops.

When we bought our new house, we wanted to replace all of our existing appliances and beef up my home office. Subscribing to the membership paid for itself in the first week. I saved more than $900 off of the sale price of most of the items I bought, and gained well over $200 in points since I used my Best Buy Credit line. Definitely would recommend to anyone who does a lot of shopping at Best Buy or buys really expensive items.

This is a great membership to have if you want to save money on the products you already plan on buying!

The yearly membership is just $49.99. For this you get free standard and 2-day shipping, exclusive member pricing on thousands of items, exclusive access to sales, events and products, plus extended 60-day return window on most products which is what sold me on getting this! It does auto-renews but you can always cancel it by going into your Best Buy account and manually cancel it. I recommend this if only for the 60-day return window which I have already mentioned!!
