If you don't need the added protection plans and just want the benefits of the extended return periods and exclusive deals, then this can easily pay for itself in no time. I buy a lot of tech and tend to have to return/exchange items as I often don't know until i get them home if they will work for what i need. having the extra time to test out the tech and the peace of mind of not worrying about a small return window is worth the money for me

This membership has amazing value for just $50 a year. Having My Best Buy Plus allows me to save big on the tech I get year-round from Best Buy, with savings that you just can't beat elsewhere! Allows me to have peace of mind with my spending on anything in the tech world knowing that I'm getting the best deals and best savings.

If you are buying several big ticket items, it is a good deal. But once you’ve saturated your tech purchasing, it isn’t saving you anything…. I give it a conditional recommendation.
