I knew I had this feature of Best Buy's upsell on device warranty and discounts but I have yet to utilize it to my advantage.

This membership isn't very user friendly. I purchased an HP computer and was told that if it goes on sale I would get cash back. It went on sale for like $200.00 off the following week. I tried to contact Best Buy in regards to the sale. You can't talk with anyone on the phone, the chat person wasn't helpful. So, I don't know how you are to redeem the benefits unless you need to go into a store. Which is about an hour away from me. I will not be renewing the membership once the year is up.

Geek squad did a very quick turnaround. Much appreciated. Have not checked the work yet so can't comment on that but I am sure all is good.

I personally prefer this over the Amazon membership, as I can shop in-store to see what the products are like and still order it to my specification with the same delivery window.

It came in handy when I ordered my gaming laptop. A month after I ordered it, the item went on sale. The charge was also put on the wrong card instead of my best buy credit card. The store manager had a difficult time adjusting this purchased but because I was a member they got the price reduced for the sale and moved over to the correct card.

You can shop online & you never are really sure it will work for you. Having a local Best Buy store nearby works really the best for me as I can interact with a knowledgeable salesperson, tell them what I need & how I will use the product & be assured when I leave the store it is really the best for me or whom I purchased it for. Thank you Best Buy.
