Never needed or used it, I believe this is more tailored for those who needs constant IT support and is always purchasing with Best Buy, otherwise isa waste of money.

The membership didn’t really do anything for me as a college student. Worst of all the guy who sold it to me wouldn’t take no for an answer. I didn’t want the membership but he kept pushing it.

You’d expect better deals with a plus membership OR rewards points/ some type of bonus. Geek squad support might be the only reason to purchase this, if they don’t charge you for fixing your devices.
