Default with 720p recording, but I changed to 1080p. It look better the recording. 8GB should ok with 3 minutes loop recording. With this time situation on the road, dash-cam is required.

It does have an annoying flaw, the unit obviously cannot work without it being plugged in. And the way the plug is designed, it’s upside down. Over time I can see this becoming a problem, heck it just looks awful, in my opinion. (See picture for details)

Dash cam device

I was shocked that it was the size of my thumb in width and 1 1/2 inches long.I actually thought that the camera was a remote control and the real cam was in the box further down.It was truly misleading in the ad in size but is not flimsy.

I was hoping for at least 15-30 minutes. I had a past situation of following a drunk driver while on the phone with the police. 20 minutes with no camera. Resolution- When I stopped behind another car, the tag was not visible on my laptop. But it may be if the authorities bring it up on their systems (if needed). PROS: Very easy to operate. This is my 3rd and last try at a dashcam. The others were very, very complicated. Just keep in mind that the OK button is the equivalent of Click-On or Enter keys. Woo Hoo! The buttons are on the same back panel as the screen. When they are on the side, you have no idea of what you are pushing. The USB charging cord, my choice, is only long enough to place the camera at dashboard level... which works for me. IF you need to hang it by your mirror AND want to use the USB charger, you will need to purchase a longer one. BONUS: I knew it would have an 8gb SD card, but I didn't realize an adapter would be included. Thanks!

Posted .Hello, thank you for the positive comments. Regarding the [Loop Recording] setting in the menu, it sets the maximum length for individual recorded files. This means that if "5 minutes" is selected, the memory card will fill up with 5 minute video clips until the card reaches capacity. After this, the camera's loop recording feature takes effect - the camera will delete the oldest recording to make room for the current recording, and it will do this, one video at a time, continuously. Probably can upgrade the memory card, only records couple days then full memory, but i travel alot. great cam for price.

I do enjoy the compact size in which does not interfere the viewing of the road. Somewhat challenging figuring out the different functions but was able to navigate it. I would recommend this product.

Worth the money

I have no idea why people are having it. It's under $100 and very easy to set up. Reading instructions literally state how to feed the wire around the edge of the window. All around, a good product for less than 100 dollars.

Wish it could take a larger micro SD card but for the money it’s a good buy.

When pulling into my driveway I caught a bear on it and easily transferred the video to my Facebook page.
