This overall the perfect controller for me. It’s a little big, possibly a little bigger than an Xbox controller (also configured like one, layout wise). Overall if you’re fine with it being on the bigger side it’s worth it. I use it on Ps5 and compared to a few others I’ve used this is by far the best. Absolutely no input lag what so ever and it connected seamlessly. Also this controller comes with weights that you can put in the handles along with to paddle style buttons on the bottom (there’s also a paddle like button about where your ring finger would be for added options). The controller also has to modes preset and custom . It can also be connected using the BT dongle included or by wiring it directly with its charger (also battery life is decent but I haven’t paid much attention to it I believe it lasts around a week @ about 5 hrs of play time a day maybe more ).

This is the DualSense Edge and the Elite 2 controller blended together to make the perfect PC controller. The problem with that is, that doesn't mix well. You've got the Playstation logo on the controller, but it wants to be the Xbox Elite controller. The controls work well as the ladder, but the button layout doesn't play well with playstaion. It has the body for a PS 4 and control design scheme of an Xbox controller. I don't like to call out different brands, but it is kind of important to give an accurate visual of the build. Sony will not allow for the rumble feature to work on the PS5, so ax that idea unless you're using a PS 4 or a PC. Using it on my PC, I felt like it was smooth and responsive even though my PC doesn't support the DualSense format, but it will let it run like an Elite. I like that it comes with a nice carrying case, because there's a lot of hardware to unpack. You've got the controller, a really long type C charging cable, PC dongle, and box of controller accessories including but not limited to thumb sticks and D pad. This is a well built controller. I like the way it feels in my hands, but it doesn't make me want to put my actual DualSense Edge or Elite 2 controllers away. I like the battery power of the controller compared to the DS Edge, but it's just not worth the trade-off when I'm using the cable more often than not, on PC. And when on the PS 5, it just makes sense to stick with the licensed controller. After all, they're the same price. If that's the deciding factor, go with the name brand that does everything you want it to do. It's only the better option if you're playing on PS 4.

For my usage, I tried to use the controller instead of the Xbox controller on windows PC. The setup was simple just plug it in and switch to PC mode and it recognizes it as an Xbox controller. Even the wireless dongle also works just plugging it in. The layout is just like an Xbox controller with the extra pad in the middle, but using it on PC you don’t get to configure or use this. You can switch it to the PS4 or PS5 setting, but the PC doesn’t recognize it unless you use Steam. And some games show the PlayStation layout while most just show it as Xbox. I do like the overall feel and build is solid. If feels and works better then the standard Xbox controller except for the start and back buttons are a little small. If this was just an Xbox controller layout I would make this my mains controller. I also like the bottom buttons especially as you can customize them. The problem is since it tries to be a PlayStation control with the Xbox stick layout you get the worsted of both. The other downside is the software. It’s not easy to use and confusing as you need to be connected as a PlayStation controller on the PC. It’s also confusing as you cannot modify the default layouts and instead need to copy and edit which isn’t too clear. I was also unable to click the update button. While it’s nice to customize the buttons, if you are using this on a PlayStation to have to get a computer to do it is a lot of work. While I want to like it I feel with the PlayStation layout and clunky software that it’s not a good choice.

This controller wants to be so many things and only achieves around average for most of them. Like the back buttons are literal mouse click style and would be awesome if they weren't placed in such a way that you either hit them accidentally and so have to position your hands kinda weird to avoid them or rely on them entirely vs the standard option. The lack of support for android or iOS for programming the thing also bizarre. There are also no replacement parts available. Spend $200 and more and if it breaks out of warranty. Sad times, cause unless you know a workaround I don't for replacing the square triangle "x" and circle buttons those quit that's that. The dongle and ability to work around the Bluetooth PS5 embargo and pair headphones or what have you directly to the controller is great, and the hall effect, and the other joystick centered tóols that come in the kit to reduce the distance travel before max input is reached , think trigger stop but for the sticks, that and the option to swap between 3 types of joystick tops is useful. The whole weight adjustment on the grips and whatever is cool.,..but why that but no mechanical buttons ? Also the whole profile assignment is just not user friendly. I really wanted to like this controller. It just seemed to have the right idea but in the end you're better off with the dualsense edge which is super easy to use, and super helpful in making things approachable , and integrated seamlessly to the PS5. This review was a 3 when I started the 2 it has now was realizing I can't back this controller much at all. I will say the controller does feel solid and sturdy and of the highest quality materials and construction. A+++ on that end.

Solid controller. Buttons have a good snap to them and joysticks are smooth to operate.

Honestly not that bad of a controller, couldnt find the app to change the color of the ring on the analog but it did have 4 preset colors when changing controller settings. Its made more like an Xbox controller and wish it had the straight analog set up like a ps controller would have. It took some time getting used to but it’s not completely bad. I like being able to make my controller feel heavier with the weights and switching out the buttons to my taste and preferences.

I wanted to love this controller soooo much, but the process to get it to connect to PS5 and them program the buttons, etc was just too overwhelming as no directions were really included. After an intensive search online to find directions, it requires you to set up the controller on a PC and not directly from the console. If you like Xbox controllers this one is great for you, but if you are accustomed to the PS controller layout, it will definitely take getting used to. Buttons feel great and I loved all of the customizations that you could do, but I didn't have the capacity to complete the customizations.

Quite literally the best controller ever the battery span is pretty short though but not short to a point where it cost problem so it's still good

You must have a PC to set up different profiles with different adjustments for how your buttons work and that is annoying this is absolutely not worth $200 but it is nice to use an Xbox feeling controller on your PlayStation and it does work for PC as well the versatility is nice but it should not be worth more than 110 bucks

Best customization ive seen on a controller. Comfortable, long battery life.

I am a PC (Controller) player, who uses the Xbox Elite Series 2 premium controller. It’s a world class controller, however, I do love my PS5 console. But I can’t stand the PS controller stick layout, as feels awkward in my hands. I had purchased before the DualSense Edge and it just didn’t feel right nor could I make it super loose how I like it! Thankfully, Nacon came to the rescue with the Revolution 5 Pro Controller. It’s basically an Xbox Series Elite 2 in my hands while playing PS5!!! I also tried it on PC and works great too! Bear in mind that the controller’s sensitivity settings are quite different and you will need to adjust via PC Application and in some games to get it just right! As my Xbox Series 2 settings are different, yet calibrated perfect! You must tinker with the Nacon to get it right! I have it on Linear Curve Sensitivity + (Raw mode) and removed Deadzones to 0. You will need to do the same ingame… to get perfect linear curves both in game and with the controller itself! I am now selling my DualSense Edge, as this is what I was looking for!!! The only downside… the price (this should be priced lower. $129.99 and no more than $150, to be quite honest! But I recommend the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro controller to fellow Xbox controller players!!!

This controller is great for durability and compatibility to other consoles such as PS4 and PS5. I have clumsy brothers that constantly mess up the joysticks with precious PlayStation controllers. This controller is not only durable but feels high quality with all buttons and joysticks. On top of that I love how this controller feels like an Xbox controller for its size and joystick setup.

love it .... works great. seems to be better than elite controller. one thing i do not like is you can not turn on the PS5 with this controller, you can shut it off though, so maybe that will be a function nacon can add later

The buttons on the grips constantly get accidentally pressed. The trigger stops on some fps games stop your guns from shooting . Had high hopes as this is the only controller I could find with Hall effects sticks for the PS5. O have two PS5 dual sense controllers with extreme stick drift. Will most likely give PC gaming a shot and sell my PS5. I would get a dual sense edge but having to replace thumb stick modules every few months would get expensive

The product itself has a nice feel to it , personally i think the buttons on the back were a little to sensitive , which makes it a little annoying when you are playing , however if memory serves right they do allow you to take that off if you wanted to, that being said all around for the price of open box it’s a good price !

The controller work perfectly for any game and the quality, the performance and the battery life is good no complaints.
