Customers are saying

Customers praise the 7.2.4-Channel 800W Soundbar System for its exceptional sound quality, with many noting the clarity and depth of the audio. The bass, in particular, is described as deep and powerful. Setup is also said to be a breeze, making it easy for users to get started. At its price point, customers feel they are getting great value for their money. On the downside, some users have experienced connectivity issues, with the audio occasionally cutting out. Others have had problems with the rear speakers, while a few find the infrared remote control to be limiting due to its line-of-sight requirement.

Nakamichi 7.2.4 sound bar is Sweet

I love this sound bar! It's room filling bass is unmatched by any other bar I test listened to prior to purchase. The bass from this system got me in trouble with my wife at volume level 40... it gets much louder than that... when she's not home. :-) I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for THE whole sound package in a simple to set up and use system!

Have been using this system for 3 months now and am completely happy with the performance. Was a breeze to set up, the sound performance has been very good. I purchased this system because I thought it was the best bang for the buck relative to the more well-known brands. I would still agree with that statement after several months of use.

I've had several soundbars and this is, by far, the best I have purchased. Set up was just short of automatic and the quality of the sound was exceptional. Especially the subwoofer which had my downstairs neighbor pounding on his ceiling. Now I need to buy a house so I can turn up the volume and really enjoy this soundbar.

Clear, loud sound w/ strong bass

My old Sony soundbar broke down, so I tried the Nakamichi 7.2.4. It has plenty of power for a 20'x30' room...I can crank the volume and still hear clear sound/voices. The bass from the two subwoofers is plenty powerful, and the surround/subwoofers can have volume controlled independently from the bar--it's a nice feature to help balance the sound in your room. Be aware that the subwoofers are wireless, but then the surround speakers plug in (i.e. wired) to the subwoofers. It works well for my set up, but others may expect that all speakers are wireless. I'm definitely happy with my purchase--there's a lot of bang for the buck.

I do my research on these type of purchases and wanted my next sound system to perform and to last me awhile. Well worth the money spent vs crappy 2 channel soundbars you spend alot for and more affordable than the billion dollar corporations systems. Set up was easy and the provides movie quality sound. Watching football has been taken to another level. I did have a tiny delay but when I called Nakamichi, they walked me through fixing it very easily within minutes. Great bass & surround sound. Plus ATMOS for an awesome picture and sound quality at a great price.

    Get this for great sound

I was skeptical about getting a sound bar instead of a sound system for my new home theater but having two subwoofers was quite intriguing. Once I got home and unwrapped it I started testing it with my projector in the basement and with an Amazon fire TV cube. Once I had it tuned in for 4K and arc sound and Dolby ATMOS it was time to play. I ran a few movies through it try to make sure that I have the right sound settings and the subwoofer settings correct. Wow the subwoofers were amazing this thing shakes like nothing else, it’s loud it sounds very good it’s responsive and anything I can put through it handles it with great sound clarity. It’s a medium size basement connected to a LG projector and it’s the ARC feature alone on this priced sound bar is just amazing. I would recommend this highly it sounds great it’s not an exterior component system it’s not something that you’re gonna have a wired in the walls. But the subwoofers are wireless the surround speakers are wired to the subwoofers it’s a great Nakamichi really get it out of the park.

The Nakamichi 7.2.4 Soundbar is a phenomenal system that combines the advantages of a soundbar and a surround sound system. The soundbar by itself produces cinema-grade audio and the two bass drivers create more immersion. I highly recommend this system for anyone looking for a great value!

System sounds great, and works flawlessly each time it is powered up. No problems with satellite subs & speakers connecting via Bluetooth. Sound quality is as good as others have stated, and volume capability is appropriate for a medium room. Infrared remote does require a clear line-of-sight.

Sounds Even Better than the Hype Train Says

Was looking at other surround systems (that's you and a few others, Sonos) that offered as much as the Nakamichi 7.2.4 and simply couldn't find anything comparable for anywhere near the money. The shipping box is huge and quite sturdy. Unpacking is a cinch. Setup is even easier. It's literally "plug this wire into this speaker" simple. Originally used this in a small living room, recently moved and it adapted perfectly into a medium space as well. We're hearing levels of detail we haven't heard in ages, bringing old and new films, shows, and games to life. The ATMOS support has had us looking at different parts of the room, thinking a sound is coming from there (and not from what we're watching!), so the immersion factor is high. Am so happy I heard about this brand through a review site. It truly lives up to its hype as one of the better, if not the absolute best, surround setup in its price range (and beyond).

Amazing sound bar and subwoofer combination. The two subwoofers make it very high quality sound and sound bar is top of the line. Won't find a better price for the sound quality you receive. 100% recommend.

This is the best 7.2 Sorround system money can buy. It has a sleek and powerful soundbar with 2 separate wireless subwoofers and surround speakers that eliminates unsightly speaker wires running all over your room. I easily attached all of my components (Blu Ray, Game console etc) directly to the sound bar and simply ran 1 HDMI ARC cable directly to my TV. The clarity of the Atmos technology creates deep bass and Cinema quality sound in your own home. I highly recommend this product.

    Nakamichi 7.2.4

This 7.2.4 system is incredible! The dialogue is clear, the surround effect is outstanding, and the two subs, bass absolutely rocks. I couldn't be happier with this system. I have a Onkyo with 9.2 speaker setup which sounds great but the simplicity of setting up and sound quality is outstanding. I use sound bar setup 95% of the time. The customer service team is awesome as well!! I had a slight popping sound in one satellite speaker. Sent label, shipped and fixed issue. I've had Nakamichi system in the early 90's, tape deck, pre amps to amplifiers, great products. This sound bar sounds the best out of all the onesI have researched.

Great system! Easy to setup and easy to use. Cinema like experience watching movies at home. I switched from a Yamaha 5.1 surround system to this and am so glad I did. It’s great for gaming, as well as watching movies. I don’t experience any delay as some other reviewers mentioned. Nakamichi support has been excellent only minor problem I encountered was a loss of WiFi on the 5 gigahertz band due to the fact that’s how the sound bar connects to the wireless subs. A simple log into my router to change to a channel not used by the sound bar and the problem was resolved. I recommended it to a friend at work who purchased the 9.2 version because he had a larger room and he also loves his. This is a quality system.

Easy set up. Very powerful sound. You really need to be prepared to change up the sound mode if you’re picky about sound quality (a news program’s sound feed will be very different from a Dolby recorded movie). Take the time to ensure you have the set up that works best for you. I only have a cable box and streaming device to worry about. The only thing I plugged into the soundbar is the ARC connection to the TV, everything else is connected directly to the HDMI connections on the TV.

Excellent sound and easy set up. Although it is significantly less expensive than many other wireless sound bars, the appearance would not indicate it. Packing and instructions were excellent.

You will not regret going for this 7.2.4 Nakamichi Sound bar. This is a straight up high quality immersive home theater. The bass kicks hard with the 2 sub-woofers, vocals are clear and very easy to set up. Believe me, this home theater is definitely worth the price! You cannot go wrong with this system!

I has a very nice Samsung set up to go with my Samsung TV...absolutely loved it. I purchased this on a impulse buy and not even sure why but SO glad I did...so is my son who got my old Samsung. This system literally shakes pictures and loose items if you want it too! I rarely need anything above 8 on the Subs (yeah dual subs!) and the remote is backlit so that's a plus too. All my friends noticed a huge difference in sound quality and bass. I think the quality of the build is exquisite with nice chrome accents. Highly recommend this Nakamichi system!
