Customers praise the 7.2.4-Channel 800W Soundbar System for its exceptional sound quality, with many noting the clarity and depth of the audio. The bass, in particular, is described as deep and powerful. Setup is also said to be a breeze, making it easy for users to get started. At its price point, customers feel they are getting great value for their money. On the downside, some users have experienced connectivity issues, with the audio occasionally cutting out. Others have had problems with the rear speakers, while a few find the infrared remote control to be limiting due to its line-of-sight requirement.
Love my 7.2.4, worth every penny. I have a LG CX48 and Xbox One X hooked up to it. The hardest part was getting the ARC to work properly. The subs have cut out once since owning but was almost unnoticeable. The DTS, Dolby, etc all have their strengths and weaknesses to have options is awesome. It does take a while to dial in your sound to your taste. The HDMI ports run a bit warm but i keep a fan on it like I do most of my electronics. Compared to my Bose and Samsung 5.1 it is amazing. I love bass but have to keep it at zero or 1 when someone is home. Its not muddy or flat. Very close to a theater bass and clarity. Definitely recommend this! I was thinking sonos but didn't want to spend double for maybe a slightly better sound.

I typically perform extensive research before buying a product especially if it is a long-term investment. I considered a number of products before finalizing SHOCKWAFE ELITE 7.2 SSE. I have a decent size living room and I didn't want wires running around the room for connecting the speakers and therefore ruled out any system that required wiring. SHOCKWAFE ELITE 7.2 SSE is convenient because there are two separate subwoofers and the rear speakers are wired connected to the respective subwoofer making it clean and tidy. I am quite satisfied with the purchased, the only two issues I have is 1. When playing songs from Bluetooth, sometimes there is a 2 second loss of sound at the beginning of every song - I contacted Nakamichi and all they did was blame it on Bluetooth technology - I have not experienced this with Bose or Harman Kardon speakers and 2. For the price, the speakers don't support FLAC. The only other soundbar that I was impressed is Sony HTZ9F but it is way to expensive for a 3.1 speaker system with one subwoofer and no rear speakers.

I have an oddly shaped living room in that the center kitchen island causes the entire room to have a diagonal axis. End result is that the seating/tv viewing area is a trapezoid. I have always used a traditional receiver and speakers combination for my home theater (was once THX Certified) but this room couldn't really handle the speaker mounting for surrounds. At least not easily. Enter the Nakamichi. The wireless dual subs with the accompanying wired surrounds are exactly what this room needed. And the sound is freaking phenomenal! I haven't had an opportunity yet to check all the bells ad whistles on this product, but for theater use, it is exemplary. I don't have much experience with soundbars, and this one may be a bit pricey, but I can all but guarantee that you won't be unhappy with this selection.
