I have a relatively small living room and this system is simply amazing. It doesn't overpower the space and the setup was very easy. I purchased an older system but it came from Nakamichi with the firmware updated already. It was very simple to setup as a plug and play system. The only thing I would recommend is read the manual to understand all the remote features as there are quite a lot and once setup, save it to a memory button.

This is one hell of a setup, my first sound bar and I'm actually blown away by the features and clarity. The price had me second guessing if I was going to regret my purchase. As I'm the guy that has speakers and wires everywhere and spend 3 times this amount. I would recommend this system setup to anyone as it's very impressive and loud, very nice control and very good bass, nice features on remote for clear voice when watching movies or concerts. Easily hide my sub x2 behind my couch and mount my 2 corner speakers. Absolutely impressed and happy I bought this system. My only recommendation would be if you have the room buy the 9.2.4 go big or go home. There is a good reason that most places are sold out. Follow instructions when hooking up hdmi's I didn't got to excited and it kept shutting down, was me not the unit took a breath read and followed the hook up guide and it's been cranked ever since, my BlueRay and 4k collection has grown to 3 times the size. Best sounding soundbar I've ever owned by far. Really has a lot of bass

Awesome all the way. I love having two subs really makes the low end even out and Omni directional like it should be. I replaced a Samsung k950 atmos soundbar with this one and am very pleased. It works so good with my log c1 over eARC that I forget it’s there. I have my Xbox into the tv and then this connected to the earc port and I am getting Dolby vision and atmos all the way.

I replaced my whole stereo system with the 7.2 Nakamichi. The sound is superb. I especially love the Earth shaking subs. I thought it was all advertising, but I can truly say that it is truly immersive. I bought a Sonos system at the same time for my room and now want to replace it with another Nakamichi. I am considering the 9.2 system. The setup was a breeze. I was able to hook up my other peripherals and amplifier no problem. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

The system has great sound. Very easy to setup. I love the remote. Only thing I have had a problem with is the sound occasionally drops out when it changes formats.

I'll start by saying I am not an audiophile. I am not a sound snob. I am not an expert. What I am is extremely happy with the Nakamichi soundbar and I am glad I got these instead of anything else around the price range. Setting it up was a bit of a hassle. I wanted to experience the sound ASAP, but in between setting up the speaker stands and running the cable through the stand, etc, it made me restless. But when I finally was able to turn it on and get it going, it was worth it. This thing is loud. This thing made my walls shake and knocked down a few frames thanks to the dual subwoofer action. I don't think I can go back to no subwoofer or single subwoofer thanks to this. The soundbar offers different sound settings to match the content you're watching. Make sure you experiment with them. At first I thought I had great sound, but once I switched to "Movie" mode, I had an even better audio experience. PLEASE READ THIS: The wireless connectivity uses certain 5Ghz channels. If you do not change your router settings your internet connection will suffer. I didn't think it was important, but I made sure I kept an eye out and checked to see if it matter. I ran a speedtest on my PC and sure enough, I have very slow speeds through WiFi. Please go to the Nakamichi website and read how to change your router's channel settings. It's not too difficult and you will save yourself some trouble. One minor complaint is that the left speaker tends to make a pop/crackling sound from time to time. Not a deal breaker at all, but I would really like to not hear. Other than this, I much enjoy the sound from this soundbar. I would totally recommend this if you're looking for a theater like sound and don't have the space for a real sound system or if you just prefer the simplicity of a plug and play soundbar.

Incredible and immersive sound, and the build quality is fantastic. I can qualify my statement of sound quality with the notion that I was the 2008 and 2007 Minnesota and Wisconsin Car Audio Sound Quality champion. I absolutely adore this system and can’t believe I didn’t get it sooner.

This cannot be beat for the price! It rocks and sounds like you’re at the movies.

Great system. I was actually looking at a different brand when I saw these for much cheaper. Great sound and love the two subs! Highly recommend this product! Nak does it again!

purchased back in nov 23 this soundbar is the best I've ever heard as to bass and dialogue alike. would definately recommend for high end users.

I am very happy with my purchase. This sound bar system is the best one you can get. Two subwoofers makes a huge difference. I have a lot less wires and confusion with my connections. The sound is amazing! If you buy this soundbar you will not be disappointed!

Wasn't too sure about it at first, but after finally having it connected properly, I couldn't be happier with it. The sound is magnificent. My wife hates it, she says it's too loud and makes the room vibrate. LOL . Exactly what I wanted.

This soundbar is amazing. The range and quality of sound coming out of this soundbar makes you think you are in a theater. This is also very convenient since it has minimal wires. The remote control lets you control all functions. The only wish list that would make this sound bar even better is if I was able to upgrade it to the 9.2.4 later on.

Purchased a Nakamichi Shockwafe Elite 7.2.4 from Nakamichi directly on eBay and have been surprised with what an incredible home theater system it is. The price, quality, and aesthetics are second to none in my opinion compared to other sound bars except the most expensive Samsung offerings which still don’t offer the same qualities as the Nakamichi.

This system is awesome! I received the box and was a bit overwhelmed with the size and heft of it. Once I begin unboxing, I found it to be very easy to setup. The instructions were clear and concise. I was looking for a system that would fit well in my family room. This system is a perfect setup in that the subwoofers and wireless speakers fit perfectly behind my chair and loveseat. The sound is amazing! The bass is mindblowing! I realized (and appreciated) the detailed instructions (on their website) about setting up the Apple TV 4k streamer. I have the 1st generation streamer that I initially hooked into the soundbar. I got inconsistent sound and the connection was less than stellar. Once I completely followed the instructions (the 2nd generation connects to the soundbar - the 1st connects to the TV), I haven't had any dropouts or connection issues. I also love the customization of sound with the soundbar. You can dial in your sound for your situation with many different options. The surround sound fills the room, and then some, and the system easily connected to my TV remote. I haven't experienced any issues at all with the sound bar and after months of owning the system, I'm still amazed at the surround sound and the system's capabilities. I can hear the crowd AND the announcer clearly while watching sports. I can also hear all the detail in fast moving movie scenes. This has been an awesome purchase. Kudos to Nakamichi for putting together such a wonderful system!

I've returned plenty of sound bars. Not this one. Nakamichi stays. The two subwoofers are game changers. It's so powerful I have never gone over 40% volume. My living room truly sounds and shakes like a movie theater and I get tons of compliments. It is quite heavy, as a good sound system should be. I love Nakamichi's approach to marketing and direct fact-based specs. I only wish there was a fully customizable EQ setting by frequency band but once you get to know the sound bar, the presets work well enough.

Did a ton of research on sound bars first and settled on this one. Very happy with the decision. This thing absolutely rocks our media room with the dual subs. Was concerned that setup would be difficult but had no issues. The 4 hdmi inputs are more than anything else in this range and it has all the features you could want. Would absolutely buy again.

Sounds fantastic, easy to hook up. Well worth the price.Would buy again.

I luv this soundbar. The two subs make all the difference. Additionally, having each surround speaker connect to each of the subs provided placement flexibility. The sound for movies and music is excellent.
