Customers are saying

Customers praise the 7.2.4-Channel 800W Soundbar System for its exceptional sound quality, with many noting the clarity and depth of the audio. The bass, in particular, is described as deep and powerful. Setup is also said to be a breeze, making it easy for users to get started. At its price point, customers feel they are getting great value for their money. On the downside, some users have experienced connectivity issues, with the audio occasionally cutting out. Others have had problems with the rear speakers, while a few find the infrared remote control to be limiting due to its line-of-sight requirement.

I found out about the Nakamichi Shockwafe series from some YouTube comments on a different brands soundbar review and MAN I am sooooo happy I did. Ill be sitting in my room with my cats watching Our planet on Netflix and my cats freak out and start looking all around the room during the jungle scenes. Definitely recommended!!

Excellent sound quality. I was a little apprehensive since I was not familiar with the brand, but did some research and decided to give them a chance. I was extremely pleased and will be a future customer. Customer service was exceptional and the overall quality of their product is amazing.

Before I started research, I didn't know systems with two subwoofers existed. I upgraded from a 2.1 system, so it was a big gap bridged. Setup was straight forward, There is a handy guide on the Nakamichi site that helps with configuration of a lot of components (Nvidia shield, FireTV, Kodi, etc) to get settings right that allow for high end sound. No e-ARC, but ARC has allowed me Atmos sound just fine. The two subwoofers put out plenty of rumble; I positioned them on both sides of my couch. The rear speakers plug into them, I really like that there are no wires run from the soundbar to the rear units...no wires along the floor or ceiling. The subs do connect on 5Ghz, so it overlaps some of the 5G wifi network. You'll need to set your router to a lower channel to avoid interference. The remote has just about every button you need to configure without digging into menus. Wife even said she enjoys movies more with the loud big full sound. Very happy with my purchase!

I have always had a full 5.1 or larger surround sound system and did not want to get a sound bar but after a lot of research and splurging to purchase this unit I am very happy with the sound this set up provides. The only thing I do not like about the system is having the wired rear speakers.

Fantastic sound from a great looking sound bar system. I have it set up on my patio under 56" Samsung TV. We use it at least 8 hours a day 7 days a week. Sound is crisp and clear. Bass is definately there. This replaced a Samsung 5.1 bar. Definately reccomend highly!

Nacamchi is absolutely one of the best brands available and this soundbar is incredible. I especially enjoy the dual subwoofers. I always dismissed such a set up as overkill and unnecessary but now that I have experienced it for myself, I definitely stand 100% corrected & will never go back to just a single sub ever again. If there is one area where it could be improved (perhaps w an update) would be how it sounds when playing only music (from any source). It does not allow you to use the same dolby surround option but switches to pcm instead. Bit all in all its hands down the best in its class.

Good Soundbar for an easy surround sound setup

I have been using the Nakamichi soundbar for about 2 months so far. The sound is great for a sound bar setup. Setup and first use is a little time consuming to get everything correct and mounted correctly but once complete it does sound great. The bass from having two subwoofers of a decent size is nice while watching movies. This is by far the easiest way to get a good surround sound setup that I've come by.

Best soundbar ou there! The double subwoofers sound incredible. Had some signal interference with my wifi router but when you use one of the recommended channels from the nakamichi support page, the issue completely dissapeared.

Purchased these in hopes of bringing a real in home theater experience to life, and man do these do so! I purchased my copy through eBay directly through Nakamichi, and the surround sound is truly one that can't be beat!

To be honest, I didn't know much about Nakamichi. But researching the internet on what soundbar I should buy, my conclusion always ended up for the Nakamichi Shockwave. Since I live in a small apartment the 9.2.4 version seemed a bit bulky for my living room, so I purchased the 7.2.4. After an easy setup, the sound quality was much more better than I expected. Dolby Atmos and DTS-X effects work perfectly. Also dual subwoofers makes excellent harmony for the low frequency sounds. Seems like it's the best soundbar under the $1000 range!

Great sounds, fairly straight forward setup. Seemed to take a little time for the speakers to break-in and experience optimal sound, but once they did the experience is terrific.

Omg! The 7.2.4 is BETTER than I ever imagined..After having a pretty high end home theater for decades,i decided to completely revamp my home theater experience, beginning with a 82” smart tv..As I researched sound bars, and heard some of them on utube,it became very clear this was the system to have.I have a fairly large room and these dual subs are no joke...along with the rear speakers and that insane sound bar- you have a home theater that will constantly amaze you and your family/friends...trust:Nakamichi is head and shoulders above the rest, even those costing hundreds more❗️

Big Sound In A Big Room

I bought the Shockwafe 7.2.4 to replace my Onkyo system lost in a natural disaster. I actually had my eye on the 9.2.4, but found that I'd be just as well off with the 7.2.4 system. Setup was easier than I had thought with my LG 4K TV, and my Sony BluRay. The company provides first class instructions both with the product and online how to obtain the best results from the myriad of settings available. The sound is outstanding, not only from the point of view of ear-shattering volume, but overall quality as well. Obviously, there is a learning curve with a system this complex, mostly with a very sophisticated remote, but it is a fun experience, and the end result - watching my favorite movies on disc - has been more than worth it. I'm a satisfied customer. I haven't had a reason yet to contact tech support, but I'm confident that, if I do need to, I should be OK. Any company that can build something this good, with these results will no doubt take care of its customers!

Phenomenal sounds! Replacing a Martin Logan Motion Vision X soundbar. The Shockwafe 7.2.4 out performs the the Martin Logan in every aspect. Extremely satisfied with the Nakamichi.

Had a Samsung QR90 soundbar and read tons of good reviews about the Nakamichi. Really wanted the dual subs, did not disappoint, it is loud and rattles the walls. Probably going to sell my Samsung on Ebay.

I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. I was looking for that massive theater sound that I could enjoy at home. I also wanted something wireless for the rear speakers. I had to go with the dual wireless sub-woofer model so that I could brag about it with my friends. I've got them set up at both ends of the couch. Now we can feel the sound and not just hear it. I would have gone with the 9.2.4 model but I don't have the room for it. I do have to mention that the soundbar stopped functioning properly after about a week. But Alberto, the Nakamichi Head Ninja, was there to the rescue. He replaced my soundbar at no additional charge; no questions asked. I highly recommend this product!
