At its price point, customers feel they are getting great value for their money. On the downside, some users have experienced connectivity issues, with the audio occasionally cutting out. Great sound but very annoying issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When the system is working it’s great and the bass is awesome but for the price it has some very annoying issues. My main issue is whether I’m using Bluetooth or hdmi there always is a lag with audio with every single song or video. I’ve had other sound bars that have audio coming out as soon as I play a song on my phone or play something on tv I don’t get why this one can’t do the same. I also get random static noises in the middle of watching tv or listening to music I don’t know why. And for some reason it loves changing the input randomly while I’m watching YouTube on my tv or playing video games. I love the sound on this thing but it’s got so many issues using it that I regret buying it

A complete system at the most reasonable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is about Nakamichi 7.2.4 system. Before buying this, I tried out Sonos and Bose as I was budget concern and really wanted to spend money only on real gems instead of just names. For Bose, I tried at Bestbuy and liked Sonos better. So I bought Sonos, a complete system comprises of a sound bar with One woofer and Pairs of Play 1 and frankly speaking, that $1800 system has to learn a lot from Nakamichi or should buy the entire company instead of learning technologies from them. The sound technology for Nakamichi system is unbelievable (bought 800W) and the quality of sound is the best in all aspects. It’s real 3D sound and for my home theater I got so many complements. The main reason I bought this system because, Sonos disappointed after awhile and I felt I should not spend anymore on this so called Dolby Atoms technology as it’s nothing different than my old JVC sound system with big receivers and 8 speakers. I was dead wrong until I bought and experienced this massive sound system, it comes with a sound bar, two of the subwoofers and two rear speakers. Either you hear drop of water or entire waterfall on this system, you literally can feel the real life intense sound that was never experienced before. Yes, 800W plays well but at the same time, it’s their thoughtfulness by adding one additional subwoofer. The entire huge room (1200 sq ft) I have is filled with evenly distributed sound for every corner. It worth each penny you spent and well, you don’t NEED even to touch four figures, it’s less than $1000, less than a half of those big names. So, if you really want to enjoy sound from your heart, and without taking much stress on your wallet, this is the only system you can count on. Enuf said, I got to complete watching Avenger End Game but because I’m feeling every word, background score and so much enjoying watching it at my own theater with family, I could not resist writing in the middle of movie to appreciate for this awesome product that everyone should take a note to try one time....

Simply Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start out by saying that at this price, compared to other soundbars this a steal. Setting the soundbar up is very easy and I've yet to have any issues with dropped signals or any other issues for that matter. The dual 8 inch subs rock my house and the base is very clean and it's like being at the cinema. When playing modern warfare on this thing I feel like I'm in a real war as the sound of bullets, voices and footsteps of soldiers come from every direction, and oh did I mention the sound because depending on the game or movie my volume doesn't go past 30 because I don't want to scare the neighbors (volume goes to 100 by the way). Music is also a blast to listen to on this thing as the highs and everything in between sound wonderful. Don't hesitate to purchase this soundbar! You won't regret it. Also watch the movie Super8 on this thing, you'll thank me later.

Awesome and amazing!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it! Very easy to set up. The quality is great and looks modern. The sound quality blew me away! I never thought a soundbar system could sound this good! I started watching many more movies just so I could experience the atmos sound. More than enough bass from the subwoofers too. Extremely pleased with the purchase. Worth every penny!

Absolutely fantastic sound system,
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into best buy several times looking for a sound system comparable to my Bose. I stumbled upon the Nakamichi system browsing the web site. The system seemed to be what I was looking for, so I went into the best buy and asked some questions about the system. The guy I spoke to indicated he had never seen/heard one but he new a guy that had done several installations and had nothing bad to say about the system and gave it rave reviews. I then asked if it was worth it to put in the extra couple hundred to upgrade to the 7.2.4 and he said it is 800 watts of power. I was hesitant to spend a couple extra hundred but in the end I decided to go for the upgraded system. OMG I am glad I did the sound is as good if not better than my previous system. Watching a movie in dolby atmos there is sound coming from everywhere, the crashes, revving of the engines, door bells ringing, rain drops falling as if you were in an actual theatre. The only bad thing I can say is customer service was not too helpful and as I seen in another review there is a slight delay for the sound to kick in when streaming.

It's a Must Buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy movies and playing ps4 on the weekends to unwind after a long work week. I've had multiple sound systems in my home in the past, but honestly this is the best one by far I've owned. I'm really happy I pulled the trigger on this system. Crystal clear surround sound and the two big subwoofers are no joke! The subs, sound bar, and side speakers also look nice and are very well built. And everything is an easy set up right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Nakamichi - 7.2.4 - Worth Every Penny
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You may ask yourself, "do I really need to have 2 subwoofers?"... The answer is yes, you honestly don't know what you are missing until you experience this soundbar. I watched Jurassic World with my family and the footsteps of the T-Rex reverberated like we were right next to it. The background sounds were crystal clear, leaving us with the feeling that we were actually in the movie. The price may seem a little high, but trust me when I say that it is worth every penny. You won't be able to watch movies/tv with other sound systems at friends houses without feeling like something is missing. If you splurge on anything this year, this sound system is the one to do it on.

Troubles not worth the $1,200
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading many reviews I rolled the dice and bought this system. The sound is hard to determine due to every show, movie, and commercial having different quality and volume. I ran spotify and turn it up but was greatly disa pointed. Bass was peak at 45+ volume( not full volume). if you lowered the bass then it dropped out and did have fullness. Mids and highs were unpleasant at the high volumes. Watchning Prime or Roku Sound was simply poor again those services do not have a consistent quality or volume between shows/movies etc. Our main issue is the ARC technology. I find my self usingg the TV seakers due to ARC dis-connecting 3-4 times per viewing session. At first the Nakamichi would auto connect but now I have to manually press on with Nakamichi remote or it will nott turn on consistantly. While watching a Movie or show it will sparatically dis connect and sound is gone until you grab the Nakamichi remote and turn it off, wait, tuen it on wait the after about 20-30 seconds you have sound again however you now have rewind what you are watching. Summary: if you want simply turn on your show and enjoy it, do not get this sysem. Total fail. And of course issues started after the minimal 15 day return policy of Best Buy.

Outstanding soundbar surround system
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely the best surround system I've ever had, very happy with the purchase. This system sounds amazing and the bass is awesome, with crystal clear audio and no distortion. Two subwoofers is definitely the way to go. The soundbar itself is also very sleek and cool-looking, I like the slanted design of both ends. The price is also very, very reasonable considering all that you get! Nakamichi has great customer service as well, every question I had during the purchase and set-up process was answered quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommended!

BEST in CLASS Dolby Atmos Surround - WOW!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an amateur audiophile, I'm pretty discerning about quality audio (and video). After reading seemingly endless reviews on likely a dozen different web-sources, I somewhat hesitantly purchased the Nakamichi 7.2.4 system. I only admit to hesitancy because it was such an unknown brand (to me), and I seriously coveted the Sonos brand and a few other well-known manufacturers. I wasn't able to find a Nakamichi system with an in-store demo experience, whereas most of it's high-end competitors offered great on-the-shelf demos, or in BB Magnolia A/V suite of a Living Room style of demo experience. Thanks to some excellent reviews and emphatic (non-paid) reviewers, I took a chance on Nakamichi. I found it very easy to set up, and to get up and running to amazing sound quality in literally about 15 min. out of the box. One of the key advantages is the Nakamichi remote control -- to aid in your audio set-up -- is hands-down better than any major brand. Your ability to adjust sound quality or increase spoken word voice clarity or bass responsiveness is beyond amazing. After immediately trying the Dolby Atmos demo disc (Blu-Ray), I was blown away by the room filling sounds and effects from birds singing to waterfalls rumbling to gunners and tanks battling, the surround and clear crisp sounds were stunning. I also am extremely happy with the ARC features for simple kids shows, sports on FS1, or basic network TV in HD -- it ALL sounds excellent. I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy this Nakamichi system... and would easily give 6 stars if possible.

Great in theory but wireless subwoofer no beuno
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound bar works great. One subwoofer works great probably 80% of the time, the other subwoofer works alright about 20% of the time. Mainly just use the sound bar as the subwoofer “crackle” gets annoying and distracting. Too late to return so will have to take advantage of my protection plan. .

The best soundbar for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this soundbar after getting a horrible TCL one with my TV, and this is what I should have bought in the first place. It supports all current sound formats, gets loud, and the dual subwoofers really fill in your room with proper bass. The most surprising thing is how loud the system actually gets, you won't believe that it has room-filling sound just by looking at it. What's also nice about the dual-subs is you have enough power that you don't need to turn the volume up on them that much. The setup is also super easy, just plug everything in, hook up the surrounds and it pairs with the bar. Just follow the setup guides, and you will be up and running. Be sure to purchase speaker stands if you don't plan on mounting the surrounds to a wall. I really cannot say enough good things about this system. There is a lot of hype around it, and videos saying it's the best soundbar for the money are not lying. I have owned several home-theatre setups, from full component systems to dinky little soundbars, but this really does live up to the reputation. I cannot recommend it enough and would buy another one if I had another living room. If you can afford it, I am guessing the 9.2.4 system is even better.

Great system for price point
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Enjoy the two subwoofers, it gives the surround system that extra bass to feel the room When playing the Xbox One, Dolby Atoms sounds great I like all of the options to adjust bass, spatial sound When using Dobly Atoms, the two extra speakers makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the action during action scenes I've only been able to turn volume up to around 28 because the sound really feels out my 3400 Sq. Ft house During setup, they do provide several recommendations for speaker placement & setting, based off the size of the room you will use the system in. Cons: Every once is a while, I've noticed the sound go in & out on the two rear speakers but I haven't followed the setup instructions given by the company, so that maybe what's causing that issue. Overall, for the price I paid( purchased through Ebay), I'm very happy with the 7.2.4 for my living room space. I'm still playing around with all the options provided on the remote & speakers placement to create the best sound for me.
