Hello and sorry for the issues you are having with your Nanoleaf 4D. Sometimes the adhesiveness of the tape can be affected by humidity. Have you also cleaned the back of your TV before you place them? As dust and other particles can also make the stickers weak. Please reach out to our support team at support@nanoleaf.me for further assistance.

I’m not sure why there are mixed reviews for this product. It works great if what you are looking for is cool lights to go behind your TV! The mirror feature is so cool where the colors accent what you’re watching. The sticky part isn’t super long lasting, but you just have to press hard when applying it.

These lights are so cool. It really adds to the experience of watching TV. The setup isn’t the easiest, but it’s worth the time it takes to get it figured out.

I was skeptical when my partner wanted to purchase these backlights but they are incredible. They make our gaming play much more immersive and movie nights entertaining. I especially love that they work with Apple HomeKit and can be controlled via the Home app. Connection to its own application proved to be difficult but after a week we finally got it to pair. Otherwise great product.

Great colorful quality, but the glue materials are horrible. It keeps falling out from the TV. I may have to use strongee glues to stick them.

Took a couple of tries to get it calibrated, and I love the results. Really versatile and customizable. I also have it working in concert with some nanoleaf shapes, which is also cool. I wouldn't mind having a few more inches on the spool but it turned out OK. Very nice price for a nanoleaf product too. Might be worth getting the larger size just in case

Easily connectable to the tv, and controlled by the Nanoleaf app on the phone. The corner pieces included in the kit, that go in the back of the tv, and where the lightstrip sticks on, don’t stick firm enough to my liking though. Other than that, I like it.

I bought this item 7 days ago. The camera gives you 2 options for placement. It can overhang the tv, which is a bit distracting and looks poorly… The second option is to place it in front of your tv and use the built in stand on the camera, to angle it upwards toward the tv screen. This here lies the problem. The stand has a thin plastic clasp that broke on day 1. I would have returned it, but ive aleeady placed the LED light strip to the back of the tv with the self adhesive sticker strips they provided. Id avoid this product and just go with an hdmi light strip that uses the cable inputs to illuminate the light strips. This way you can avoid the camera on these poorly built options.

I purchased one of these today and my boyfriend and I both had trouble with the set up and connectivity. We then went back to the store and exchanged the whole unit (per advice from the Geek Squad employee) for a SECOND ONE and the second one did connect to either of our phones…AGAIN. We read ALL the instructions multiple times, watched all the YouTube videos, and still no luck. We received error messages every time we got to the very last step with BOTH units we bought…

The adhesive backing on the back of the LED strip is absolutely garbage. I cleaned the backside of my TV with 91 percent isopropyl alcohol and 2 drops of dish soap. Not sure why it says 3M on the branding because this is verrrrryyy far away from actual 3M adhesive. If your TV has any type of textured backing (LG OLED) it will not stick. Im not sure why they didnt use the same adhesive that came with the corner braces. That stuff stook real well. Avoid at all cost. Waste of Money

I was on the fence about buying one of these back light systems and now I'm glad I got this one. All the different settings makes anything I watch more exciting. It syncs easily and we'll. Anything on the screen the camera picks up. I would (and have) recommend.

Easy to set up and super responsive. Has a lot of customization to get the color saturation and vibration to a level you like. One negative is it seems to have some trouble with oranges and greens, usually doing bright red and blue respectively.

I walked into the store determined to get the Philips Hue, and ended up with the NanoLeaf instead. The price difference is the main reason, but once installed i sure was impressed. The only caveat is that you need to position a camera to look at the tv, unlike mentioned Hue which gets the information from a rather expensive HDMI box. The light effect sure exceeded my expectations. My TV hangs on the wall with very little space between the tv and the wall. The light strip fits, and it's mostly the 90 degree corners that need the most depth. The initial setup was confusing until I realized that I simply had to give it time to run thru the initial setup. Once that's done, you can connect to the phone App to configure. This is necessary to tell the controller which portion of the strip aligns with the tv corners. With that done, you can pick the mode and for me the so-called 4D is the best option as it interpolates the image and drives the LEDs accordingly. This is not a strict extension of the borders, and once you realize the dynamic interpretation, it turns out to be well suited for most video content. Overall, I really like the effect from this solution and the $80 are an excellent reason to give it a try. (compared to the Hue solution that easily amounts to $500)
