Nice defined colors, connectivity isnt reliable, app isnt geat, these would be okay for a small room with your smart home assistant or controlling device in close proximity. I am in no rush to but I will likely replace these

The best color lights for its price category. Really nice colors and brightness, but the only thing I don’t like is there app. Clunky and messy. I do love how the lightbulbs work with the thread/matter technology.

Meh! Took a while for HomeKit to work with this light. I think the issue it has is with the app for the Nanoleaf and HomeKit working together. That is what sucks! Nanoleaf app has some really great scene option which allows the light to change every few seconds. Really cool! Since HomeKit is not working right only option is to use color which is still cool. Since disconnecting the app no issues what so ever with connection. Just fyi!

These bulbs are incredibly unreliable. They used to be great but now have issues with connecting to the Apple HomeKit and are full of bugs. The bulbs themselves function within the Nanoleaf app but that app also doesn’t run very well with multiple lights in multiple rooms.

Sorry for this trouble😓 We will make sure we help you with this! We might have to ask you some questions to troubleshoot. The New Matter enabled lights work over Thread. So they require a Matter-compatible smart home hub and a Thread border router. There were also firmware updates recently that should help with making sure they work better. iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS 16.5 were released to production. So please Update ALL Apple devices to the latest version, reset your Nanoleaf device (if it wasn't paired successfully previously), and try pairing again. That should make things better. Let us know if it worked out for you or not.

I recover the Nanoleaf started kit with the hexagons. It’s cool and looks good in my room so I said okay I’ll buy these bulbs so everything can be the same and on the same app and I can put everything on a schedule. Well you can’t do that with these bulbs they aren’t supported to use the schedule in the bank leaf app even though you can turn them off an on from the app. Who does that make sense? Also you have to have a google hub or Alexa or Apple home pod to do anything with these. This stupid smart home stuff is getting so ridiculous. I bought a good home mini so I could have lights in the living room and my room well the google home mini isn’t supported with the Nanoleaf you have to have the big google home thing and THEN you can get a mini. Like what? Thats absurd. Can’t use my phone because I don’t have an Apple HomePod and the reason I don’t have a ridiculously expensive Apple HomePod? I’m glad you asked, it’s because it doesn’t play Spotify which is a service I pay for. So at what point are we as a society going to say to these companies stop making me buy your whole series of products just to have the one product work correctly. I -the consumer- will buy what product is the best quality and the best bang for my buck. I need the product I bought to work with everything else I have. I don’t want to buy your stupid upgraded hub just to have a schedule on a freaking light. I know they have the technology to have these stupid $15 lightbulbs be on the schedule with the other things that they already have on the “schedule “ it’s stupid, it’s ridiculous and, it’s just a money grab.
