This is as great as I anticipated. Very easy to put up with instructions being clear. It did take some time to put it together once I decided the design I wanted. Also like how easy to change colors and brightness. It's very convenient to set dim or make brighter the lights to change colours at different times. So You can customize it with the app. I like having the option of using the app or remote to control the settings. One note that it works just with 2.4 ghz so beware of that. I was a bit nervous putting the panels together because they didn't seem too strong. But it came together just fine and I had no issues. Love the good vibes it gives out in the room.

I had always thought these look cool in photos, but in practice they're way more fun that I thought they would be! Enough so that I immediately went out and god an expansion set to finish filling up the space on my wall. Mounting is very easy. They come with sticky pads that go on back. The directions say to rub the middle in a circular motion for 30 seconds after sticking them to make sure they set. They seem to be up there very safely after that. I have no idea how safe removing them will be, but I don't plan on doing it any time soon. Pairing is done through the app. It's not super clear what to do, and I had issues that ended up being because I selected the wrong model in the first step. After I realized that pairing was dead simple. The lights are bright and colorful and cycle through colors smoothly. They set a nice mood in the room, and there are tons of presets in the app and many more that you can download through the Discover tab. Most are user generated and shared with the community. If you're a gamer there are a bunch that use various game color pallets like Cyberpunk and one that is the various official Playstation blues. They add to the ambiance of your gaming space. What I really enjoy are the presets that sync to music. I haven't built any of my own, but the community ones are amazing. Some seem to work off of volume and some seem to work from frequency response. Some of the better ones (search for Tachyon Light2 in the Discover tab!) add a live concert feel to the room. In addition to sound some of the presets are interactive through touch. Kind of fun to tap a panel and watch the colors react. Brightness on these is incredible. You can easily use them for mood lighting in a dark room, and they're dimmable to match any lighting level. Overall these are just fun! They're the techy touch I didn't realize my den/listening room needed until I put them up.

Nanoleaf Shapes - Triangles Smarter Kit (7 panels) - Multicolor is a unique set of brightly illuminated patterns (I chose triangles) that you control via the free app. Each shape can be illuminated a different color, or they can share the same color. They respond to Alexa, Hey Google, Home Kit, IFTTT, SmartThings, or the app. Each panel can display 16 million colors. Your own creativity is the only limiting factor on what designs & colors you build. There are limitless possibilities. The panels remind me of looking directly at a plasma TV. They are very bright when turned up to max brightness (560 lumen) & the colors are pure. The only caution I would share is the kit includes a very strong adhesive to mount the panels, so if you are one who may choose to change the design, you might consider using easily removable 3M Command Strips to allow for a painless removal when you are ready to relocate the shapes. Expansion kits are available to add on at any time, so you can continue your creative journey & fill an entire wall, free of limitations. CONCLUSION: Nothing brightens your mood better than your own custom shape design in your choice of bright & cheerful colors! The best solution to fighting the Covid-19 Blues is to set the light panels to dance to the beat of the music!

We saw the these unique triangles lit up in a home on a Pinterest image, we wondered what it was. After some investigation, we discovered they were Nanoleaf Shapes. These offer an innovative way to decorate a wall and have the design and colors change to fit the season or your mood. The adhesive on the back of each shape makes it easy to stick on the wall or move them whenever you want. The shapes connect easily. It took us some time to figure out how to adjust the colors. (It might have helped if we read the instructions a bit more!) Once we got the design we wanted, we eventually programmed the colors for the holiday season. The Interactive capabilities of the shapes are interesting. When you touch any shape or move your hand/finger across the surface, the colors react. The only negative we have is that you only get seven triangles for the price. Hopefully the cost will come down as these become more popular. If you're looking for something that is truly unique for your home or office, give these a try.

After realizing how everything attaches, it was super easy to set up and put up. My only complaint is the sticky pads that come with the item. While it states not for textured walls, I don't know many walls that do not have some sort of texture to them. However overall, it was easy to set up and easy to use. It took a matter of minutes to set up with our Echo's and to put it as a routine for the northern lights to assist with putting our child to bed.

Such a cool light. Looks great in our 16 year olds room.

I bought this originally when it came out. It has nothing but years of software, hardware and tech support issues. The app and product always fail and why they came out with a new version. PLEASE.....if you do one thing.....read their app reviews!!!!!! Not sure who they are paying to write good reviews but if you look at their app reviews it is 2 1/2 stars with thousands of reviewers!!!! Its broke, read reviews, don't support a company that does not stand by their products.

The lights themselves are great, however the app is so terrible that I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone. The app rarely works, with constant disconnect issues and god forbit you need to soft of hard reset it to attempt to fix, it wont find your device again. Even when the app does work it's non-responsive or very laggy.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro, software is up to date at time of writing. Nanoleaf app does not work. Customer support has a known issue with no solution. The lights work, but not the app which is required for 75% of their function.
