This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. My family and I watch it several times a year and not just at Christmas. The movie is perfectly cast with hilarious characters. Every time you watch it you see something you may have missed the first time. It has constant silly parts one after the other. Love it!

The movie is obviously a classic. There is no debating that, so I wont waste any time telling you what you already know, the movie is AWESOME. The disc on the other hand leaves something to be desired, which is why I rated this 4 stars. Although the blu-ray is a step above the DVD as far as the picture quality is concerned, you are limited to the condition of the source material which is starting to show it's age. I wouldn't call it bad, but it could be better. The sound is also relegated to a Dolby Digital-Plus 2.0 Stereo mix. All be it, this isn't a huge blockbuster action flick, I think they could have done better than stereo. In short, if you are a fan of the flick and want to watch it in the highest quality you can get your hands on, then buy away. That is what I did and I wouldn't say I am disappointed. I just think they could have done better.

OK, the Vacation films have been released multiple times on VHS, laser, DVD & now blu ray. The product packing does NOT mention Johnny Galecki in it with "The Big Bang Theory" a top 5 show BUT it mentions Juliette Lewis who has not done a thing in years & her success was in this film & in the 1990's Same commentary used on other releases Disappointing If you are a fan of the film & want this on blu ray then buy it The extras, unless you do NOT have a previous release of the film you will be just as disappointed as I am

Had to buy the DVD this year because the VCR ate the VHS tape! I ordered it online and had it within a few days! Hilarious movie that you can't miss watching around the Holidays. I think I watched it four or five times this year! It's a great movie to watch with the family. ALWAYS makes me laugh!

I can watch this movie and Chevy chase over and over and over, from cutting down their own tree to the 25000 lights, the lights not working and then the city going dark, When I saw the DVD on sale, I had to have it, I will watch this every Christmas season, you will crack up if you see this movie, if you haven't make it a point to see it at least once

This movie is a Christmas Classic and the funniest in the Lampoon Vacation series. The Festive Tin is great for long lasting storage of the Blue Ray. And the Santa Hat is a must wear! This is a true collectors item. Thank you Chevy!

This is a Very funny movie, if you seen and liked any of the ealier chevy chase family vacation movies, than you are sure to like this just as much if not more. This is my favorite of Chevy Chase movie ever! 5 star - must have movie for sure!!

Clark Grisworld wants the perfect family Christmas and has the whole family over. What ensues in the next hour and a half is pure hilarity. The 3rd installment of the "Vacation" series does not disappoint. Chevy Chase is great as usual. A must see at our house every year during the Christmas season.

This review is for the 2015 remastered release of this film (in the steel book packaging). The film is great and the new transfer makes the film worth the upgrade. Sound is the same as the previous release but the picture is noticeably clearer.

This movie is a great choice for any movie collection. It is a classic that I remember watching as a child on a constant basis and surprisingly it has a very nice warm holiday feel to the movie, despite it being a National Lampoon's movie. Gotta love the Griswald's...

This is a great movie. I've been watching it since I was a kid. The only thing I can say is that since it is a Blu Ray, the movie quality could have been better. It was a little grainy looking. Still better than the DVD version though

Hello, This film is my husband's favorite Christmas movie. I am getting it for him for his birthday. I like it a lot too.

This is an absolute must see every Christmas. Christmas would just not be Christmas without a great laugh at poor Clark and his hilarious attempts to have a wonderful holiday. It is non-stop laughs from the hunt for a tree to the blinding display of lights.

I can't imagine a year not watching this movie to prepare for the Christmas season. Great movie and now on bluray with the collectible steelbook and digital copy. Excellent deal for the price on a Christmas classic!

A holiday classic, I had to buy this one on DVD! This way I can watch it whenever I want (maybe not even during the holiday season). It's great for a few laughs during the family [stress-filled] holiday season.

This is my favorite Christmas movie. I had it on VHS, then DVD, so i figured I had to buy it on Blu-ray since it is one of my favorites. I would reccommend it.

This movie is the funniest Christmas you will find. Blu Ray is the way to go. My wife and I laughed until we cried. We will have it on a lot during Christmas!!! You will love it!

This is by far the greatest holiday movie there is. This movie is a staple of the Christmas season on military bases worldwide & just seems to really make it feel like Christmas time even if you watch it in October.

This movie is a great holiday treat for the whole family! We laughed non stop the whole time. I would call this a "knee slapper" if i do say so myself!
